Fiercely as Always, taking a dig at one hit wonder blogger Cassie Bitch, Stephanie Fierce took to twitter to announce and tease her fans about her new single "Liar" with the inclusion of her proclaimed nickname "Old Lady Fierce"! She tweeted the following: Quote:stephaniefierce: "Get Ready! Old Lady Fierce is back and she coming back to slay them youngsters, New Single "Liar" September 2, 2012"  Stephanie Fierce was kind enough to provide us with an exclusive listening session to her new song "Liar", and we couldn't help but say "Now that's more like it". The groundbreaking new single falls in the genres of alternative rock and pop rock, with the inclusion of violent violins progressing through the end, has a vintage sounding Stephanie Fierce singing in a 80's fashion microphone. That's all we could reveal for now without actually getting in trouble! The new album titled "Man Music" will be released in November. Here's what Fierce had to say about the new album and new single: "Old Lady Fierce is back! I decided to call my new album "Man Music" because in my opinion this album has a bit more muscular and masculine sounds. I pretty much just kind of became a little more aggressive with what I was saying in my lyrics and the first thing that popped into my head was "Man Music" (laughs). After writing and recording "Liar" I immediately chose it to be the lead single off the album. If I could describe the song without giving too much away, I would say the song has more of a vintage atmosphere and it is powerful in its simplistic form. It stands out from everything that's out right now. What I personally like about the lyrics, is the structure is actually very cool, it tells a story and then some amazing happens, which I can't talk about. This time it's about the music and we don't give a fuck what people think! I think I'm just happy to be making music and doing what I love again! I guess that's the key to making good music, do what you love and not please anyone but yourself! Sorry, but hiatus went out the window! Stephanie Fierce: The freaky shit though is that the song kind of has the same message and it has a build up 0_o Only thing is my song is more shoulder dancing music. Meaning, you just kind of move your shoulders as you listen! If I cover it though, you're gonna have to pay me good money!

erica: i have deadly cute shoulder moves. what elvis did for hips,i do for shoulders.
nina: it's true,love. they only film erica from the neck up. her shoulders have been the direct cause of the defrocking of a sitting pope.
erica: that might be a stretch....but nato does forbid me from listening to the song "jump jive and wail" in public. it'd be anarchy in minutes. money i have,miss fierce. i lead a pretty frugal life...aside from the odd maybach joust with nina. |
