Stacey nods and rubs her cheek against his hand softly. She kisses him.
"I love you Taylor...I'm scared though. They said they thought that it was a stomach infection...but now I think; he means cancer."
Her voice cracks as she starts to cry.
The doctor pulls the curtain around them as he leaves to give them privacy. |

Taylor hugs her and kisses her again, he looks at her as she mentions cancer, panicking a little.
"Don't say that, Stacey. Please, don't say that. Let's wait for the results."
As she starts crying, he holds her in his arms and lets her bury her head into his shoulder.
"Babe, please don't cry. Everything will be alright, I promise."

Stacey shakes her head a little as she holds on to him tight. The worry was spreading throughout her body.
"It's what he means Taylor. He thinks I'm going to die." She sighs and sobs.
Stacey buries her head in his shoulder to stifle the loud sobs coming from her. She wraps her arms around him tight and pulls him down to lie next to her. |

Taylor worries aswell, incase she was right. The last thing he could possibly want was for her to have cancer.
"Babe, we don't know anything yet. He said he doesn't know what it is, so we have no guarantee of anything. Please, don't jump to conclusions... I don't even wanna think about losing you."
He kisses her as he lays down beside her, with his arms around her.

Stacey looks up at Taylor, nodding her head. deep down it was all she could think of though. She had almost convinced herself it was true.
"I know...I just. I'm really scared now.You didn't see them down there. It was like they were really worried."
She sighs. "I need you Tay. No matter what it is."
She cuddles close to him, the tears still falling. |

Taylor felt scared, he really had no clue what could be happening to her. He closes his eyes and cuddles her.
"I will be here, I promise. Absolutely nothing will stop me from being by your side."
He keeps his arms around her and kisses her head as they lay on the bed together.

Stacey relaxes into Taylors arms, feeling a little safer that her husband was here, but at the same time panickingthat there was, really, no way be ccould help if it came down to it. She sighs and kisses his arm.

Taylor wished there was more he could do, but knew that if what she believed was true, he'd have no chance of being able to do anything about it.

Taylor runs his free hand through her hair, looking into her eyes.
"Please, let's keep positive and worst comes the worst, it wouldn't be your fault."
He starts tearing up a little at the thought of Stacey having cancer, which was seeming more likely to him.
"Of... Of course, Stacey. I won't leave you on your own for a second,"

"None of this has been a waste of time. You've given me the best years of my life and this marriage has given me the best months of my life. And hopefully when the doctor comes back he'll be able to tell me that there will be many more years."
He kisses her softly, holding her hand tight.
"Well, I wouldn't wanna go home without you being well again. I'll stay here with you for as long as it takes."

"Thank you," she whispers. "Being with you has been the best time of my life and I would never change it for anything ever. I swear. Not even for all the money in the world. I would be poor forever if it meant I could spend every day with you."
She sighs slowly.

Stacey smiles and nods a little again. She adjusts the ring on her finger and smiles as she remembers their big day.

"You're my wife, forever. I'll die wearing this ring. I know we said 'til death do us part, but even after that you'll still be my wife. This ring will never leave my finger, even if what you think will happen is true. There will never be anyone else after you."
He smiles and kisses her gently as they cuddle close together.

Stacey smiles a little.
"Sorry...I was sort of fishing for you to say something like that. I just wanted to hear you say it." She squeezes his hand. "It's always gonna be about you Taylor. You brought happiness to my life. You're the best ever."
She cuddles into him and starts to doze off. Just then, a nurse comes in.
"Excuse me sir, if you're going to sleep over here can I ask you sleep in the chair? We need to monitor your wife through the night."
She smiles
"We'll do everything to find out what's wrong with her. You know that don't you?" |

"Well, as long as you know it's true, I'm happy. And you brought happiness to my life too, it's not just been me in this relationship. We've both made it as good as it can be. I love you so much, nothing could ever possibly change that." He smiles as she starts to doze off, looking over to the nurse as she walks in. "Yeah. alright, that's fine."
