Foxxxy reveals debut album details A'ight? Foxxxy here though tonight innit? Big up the Foxxxy Family out there, you feel me? They said I should take some time out from droppin' my beats and ting to come onto my website and tell you all what's goin' down, know? So here I am. I took a pic for you all while I'm listening to my music, on me webcam. Like it? I doubt it but it's there fam know? Haha. Lav it! Sorry, I'm total like well ramblin' and stuff already man, and I just started dis blog ting like two minutes ago.
Like, what's been happenin' recently? Well, I haveta say, I was like well shocked a few back when I went on my phone and saw I had annuva number one single. Man, I was readin' dat, and I was like, "What bruv? Like for real innit?" So I gotta like say big shout out to all you who went out there and got ya paws on a copy of Missin You innit? Cinzia and myself worked like well hard on that shit, and it meant a lot to me that you went out and spent your money to buy it, know? Two number one singles out of my first three I have released is like....wow fam. Know what I mean? I never expected any of dis, and I never thought that it would ever happen to like a girl like me, you feel what I'm gettin' at though? It just means like the world to me that you guys have done that for me.
After that though, well shit just got like way too real man. I had like labels on at ma fone and shit bein' all "Yo Foxxxy girl, what's new?" And I was like "Aight, now ya wanna know is it?" Haha I'm just messin' like, but I was like talkin' to famous people and shit, and I was like, "Man, headfuck bruv! Mind...totally.Fucked." Anyway, I'm sure all you have heard, innit? But I put my pen down and signed the F-o-to the three x-y on the contract wiv Studio 60. I figured yo why piss about wiv some underground label when the top top bitch in the game is after ya innit? I spoke to dat Gia girl, and she was sayin' like all the right words and that, so I was like "Yeah, sign me up bruv." I don' know if she even knew what I was sayin' like, but she was well pleased to get me on her label innit? So yeah, Foxxxy on a major label for the first time know?
But the big news like, I wanted to keep this like quiet for a bit, but apparently dey know more about PR and shit dan me, so I will do what the label says fam know? Anyway, like I was gonna say, I have nearly finished like recordin' my first album innit? Man, dis shit feels so real now. When I was like unsigned fam I was workin' in like shops and ting, so I had to record on my own time. Now it was like "Yo...dis is my fuckin' job! Weeellll mint though innit?" Haha, I loved it. Like a pro musician? Me? Is it? Who ever woulda fought that bruv? Not me know? But yeah, like I recorded 11 songs already, and I only need to get one more down, like if I can talk to one guy about like workin' on dat shit wiv me.
The album is called Foxxxy, just like ma name. I wanted to make like all easy and simple and stuff, and dey wanted a name. I just wanted it to be like....Foxxxy....nu'in else yeah? You feel dat vibe? It's mean to be like...all epic and shit though? I dunno. Maybe. Anyway, like they came and took a photo and shit and sent me this today, so this is what the CD booklet ting look like. It's well smart and stuff innit fam? It's so weird that like I'm gonna have a full album out there you feel me?
I'm bettin' you all like, "Hey, what does it sound like?" Well I'll tell ya won't I? Like, most of da songs and that will be a lot like Missin' You, and be quite dark and stuff, cos that's my vibe just now. I'm feelin' a lot of underground stuff and ting, and I love it how dark and shit some of it is, know? At the same time though, there will be some like party and feel good tunes pullin' my flow up again is it? Know, I need to have something to get you all pounding dat dancefloor innit? So like, you can expect a well nice mix. The flows are still real, the rhymes are still fly, and it is still well Foxxxy innit?
Excitin' news though is like the people I have worked wiv on this CD and ting. Like I say, I still have dis one guy that we are tryin' to get on board, but I already worked wiv some amazin' people innit? Like you all know Cinzia was in that shit wiv me, and that was well sick to work wiv her man. She is like fuckin' ace innit? In this last week I also had dis new girl in there called Mercedes Payne singin' one of my tunes, and dat shit was brrrrrap! Fuckin' ace man. She was so good, and I loved her voice. So good man. Dat song will blow you away. Probably the most excitin' though, and the craziest of all was when megastar Izzy Merjos came in. Fam, I was like shocked when she came in man, I was like "Dafuck? It's really her innit?" Haha. She was like soo good. Total superstar, and she was perfect for the song. Shout out to you Iz, innit, fam. you was amazin'!
So...yeah, I fink that's all I gotta say tonight. The new album is out next month. And I'll start letting you guys hear tracks this week sometime. Stay fuckin' real, fam....BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAP!!
