Although the company was founded in 2010, doors did not open until early 2011. The companies objective is to give underground artists who are not signed to any major labels a chance to break into the music industry by funding and distributing different acts that sign onto the company. The Underground is also a place where artists who are denied contracts from large conglomerate labels, a comfortable home to release music they have been working on. All genre's of music are accepted. Having headquarters in both New York City and London, The Underground has been successful in giving artists plenty of opportunity to put their music on a broader spectrum having helped notable artists such as Edward Barát, Mykaylah, Sara Daniels and possibly the most successful artist who has "graduated" from the Underground, in Riot! In The Boulevard. Artists may stay allied with The Underground for as long as they wish, as no strict "album or single" contracts are given out but when artists feel as if they are ready to move on, they may, as everyone from the Underground will wish them the best of luck with their future endeavors. The Underground also has several recording studio's located throughout the United Kingdom, and North America that are set up so artists can schedule recording sessions for upcoming material. Producers are also contacted either by the artist themselves or by the company ourselves to set up sessions between acts and producers. When acts do release material, The Underground will promote your release, and wish you the best of luck in your release! Following "The Underground Live" which was a live showcase where all the affiliated artists of the Underground performed live in front of a huge crowd which became a large success, the Underground went on a brief hiatus some months after, in late 2011. Now, we are opening our doors again for acts who wants to become allied, and get distributed by the company. Most recently, recording artist Sara Daniels became allied with the Underground having her newest single "Obsession" funded and distributed by the company. Lost in your memory? Was she forgotten along with a handful of other pop singers who have sunken into obscurity? Or does this name ring a bell? Sara Daniels first rose to fame once she heard about an opportunity to appear on All Around The World, she quickly signed up. In all the judges eye's she had potential to be a huge star and went on to become a finalist in the top 3 against Miles In Minutes and eventual winner, Book of Love. Losing the competition didn't hold Sara back as she began introducing herself in the music business. She released her debut single Suffocate In November of 2010. The single was became quite the sleeper hit reaching, #7 on the charts but Sara was released from her label months before her album release for unknown reasons. She appeared on Celebrity Big Brother and made it to the 6th place before getting eliminated. On the show, she confirmed she is working on new music to be released "soon". Soon after Sara was signed to Angel Music Records to complete her album with full support and backing, but once again, Daniels hit a wall in her career as Angel Music Records closed down following the death of R&B superstar, Cherise. Every artist on the label, including Sara, was left to fend for themselves. Although trailing behind such artists who have already moved on, Sara finally debuts new music in 2012 after making ways to host/producer/songwriter and talent scout, Damion Holmes who is known for his work for his independent distribution label, "The Underground". Can Sara finally find her place? She surely is taking a shot with the unpredictable song the versatile producer Damion Holmes and Dr Duke team up for the production of "Obsession". The track starts off with soft twinkling synths that soon is aided with a throbbing beat mixed with zips of electro that kick in seconds into the song. Soon as that beat kicks in Sara wastes no time bringing her unapologetic vocals to the track as the dance pop beat slams through the baseline. Sara blares out If she broke your heart, heart, heart If she tore you apart. She waits a mere millisecond before continuing on singing\| I'll make you feel new again getting across that this female catalyst will make a man feel "new again" after a girl broke her heart. Things turn more sinister as she continues on murmuring: This addiction, this friction\| Is burning me alive\| So illegal, so much evil just soars through my eyes\| I don't care if you don't want it\| So care for your will\| This is no secret\| Don't care if its wrong! As things turn from sweet to dark especially after Sara belts out "wrong". The song breaks down into a stellar post chorus breakdown adorned with massive synths that escalate through the hook, with occasional rave beats tapping across the breakdown. For the breakdown, Sara belts out I am your leader\| You'll love, and you'll keep her Say when we're together\| You'll love me forever\| You're my possession\| You're my obsession\| Don't tell me never Please don't tell me never!; Making it clear that this female is indeed obsessed with the male in the song as she becomes a dominant force in this "relationship" calling herself his leader. After that part is finished and Sara yells out never, the song breaks into a surprising dance pop/dubstep influenced breakdown with a robotic like voice murmuring: This obsession will go over the top\| I'll slit your fcking throat open (uh)\| Slit your fcking throat open (uh)\|Slit your fcking throat open (uh). Although the dubstep breaks become quite overused now, this one works shockingly well with the menacing synths and rave beats of the track. But other than it being a dubstep like breakdown in the track, what may take you by surprise is the robotic voice saying the obsession will go over the top and the man would get his throat slit. Any man might feel quite uncomfortable but to fit with the manner of the obsessive/psychotic female controlling this mans every move, the breakdowns lyrics, after being understood.. is quite ace as it's obvious that the boundaries of squeaky clean lyrics are being crossed here, what's wrong with that? As the breakdown slips out, the song returns back to it's beginning beats, and Sara returns back to her semi insane lyrics taking no breaks in saying the next lines of the song: I'm happy you seen from the start There's no keeping us apart\| Everywhere you turn I'm trapped to your arm\| I'm making it visible, that this is no game The thought of you just goes and goes through my veins\| There's no escape, there's no running away\| And certainly no one to come save your day; As it seems this female is becoming increasingly scary as Sara continues singing fast paced through the next lyrics Oh isn't this exciting, am I breaking you down ?\| I'll let you make you a comeback\| And I'll be tearing you down\| All these evil thoughts I keep whispering in my sleep\| Has you convinced that I'm officially off the deep\| Now your trying to leave me too seep\| But you forgot that very important speech! Making it very obviously that the female is completely out of her mind as she talks in her sleep and lets it be known that the man is not going any where. Following those lyrics the song goes back into it's synth/dancepop mash that sits comfortably at the post chorus break down where Sara starts off with I am your leader as she refers to the hook as the "speech" she spoke of on the previous verse. After Sara sings the chorus break down the song breaks into the breakdown once more with the robotic voice saying the very threatening lines of obsession going completely over the top and possibly reverting to murder. The breakdown this time goes alittle longer than usual, as it becomes the bridge as well as Sara sings as if she's psychotic Always stay close to me\| Don't think you'll leave now\| I won't promise I'm okay; as the beats in the breakdown following her voice perfectly, she then whispers; \|This is no secret, no secret\| telling the guy blantanly that she's quite frankly, out of her mind... as the song then breaks into the pre-chorus and finally the breakdown mixed with the "slit your throat" recite that rides this very weird, but catchy song until its end! Don't let the pretty face of Sara Daniel's fool you in the artwork, because she will slit your throat in this track of hers where she comes back with an obsessive manner turned dark and sinister. Do you think Sara will have a chance as stardom again? Quote: This is so exciting! I haven't released music in such a long time and I know my fans have been waiting for so long! Wait no longer! "Revolver is a four piece alternative metal band from Juneau, Alaska consisting of Jay Henries (vocals) Josh Holtz (guitar) Brent Barris (bass) and Tanner Noonan (drums). Their musical style is a heavy mix of metal, rap and alternative rock. They've released an EP on an indie record label (HomeSkillet Records in Sitka, Alaska) and have recently relocated to Vancouver, BC, Canada in hopes of recording a debut full length album. Now that they are with the Underground, we will give them the foundation and opportunity to finish recording and eventually release their debut album. Just like any other affiliated act with the Underground, we are deeply excited to get their very distinguishable music out to the public!"

Keli O'Day Hometown: Glasgow Age: 25 Genre: R&B/Soul/Pop/Motown Experience: Written a few songs which have been recorded by artists such as Weekend & Ugenia Sounds Like: Katie Coyle/Michelle Green Inspirations In Music: Michelle Green, Katie Coyle, Ryan Ross Hernandez Bio: Keli was born and raised in Glasgow. Her father is of African origin and her mother is White British. Keli is one of 6 siblings. Her family weren't the richest of people and found it hard to even shop for food due to her father being paralyzed in a car accident making him unable to work and her mother was only a part time cleaner. Despite not having a luxurious childhood, she and her family are very close and supportive. Whatever money came into the house was saved up for music lessons for Keli. She acheived top grades in school and was noted for her excellent way with words in English. At the age of 18, she attended college and studied English. Being close friends with a music producer she sold some songs to him as a way of making an income. Her songs have been recorded by Weekend, Ugenia and many others. Keli has a great writing talent and a beautiful voice that she rarely shows off. She prefers to stay behind the scenes and enjoy the quiet life but with work being hard to find nowadays, Keli is taking the spotlight (or attempting to) for the first time in her life in order to help and support her family.

The actual video opens up in a club seen, and it's packed, it's a hot and sweaty occassion as people fist pump and dance on eachother, the camera's then focus in on Sara who's walking around the club soon as the beat kicks in Sara wastes no time bringing her unapologetic vocals to the track as the dance pop beat slams through the baseline and Sara spots the guy of her dreams. He looks saddened, hanging out on the wall of the club or warehouse. When Sara spots him, her eyes focus on him hard, as she walks up to him, seductively If she broke your heart, heart, heart If she tore you apart I'll make you feel new again When she says those words, she moves closer to his face, pushing him into the back area of the club, they then end up in a hallway as the camera's follow them. Sara then looks at him deeply as she starts singing the next lines of the song, she then moves onto him as they engage into a long and drawn out french kiss session as the song continues to blare. As they finish making out, Sara grabs the male protagonists hand and proceed out of the club. The song breaks down into a stellar post chorus breakdown adorned with massive synths that escalate through the hook, with occasional rave beats tapping across the breakdown. For the breakdown, Sara sings the words straight to the male, but he still doesn't understand that she has a growing obsession to him. They smile together, and Sara looks completely into the camera as she yells out "never!". As the guy turns to leave, he sees Sara turning the corner of the store. He follows after, but when he the turn to see what she's doing there, she isn't even there. The guy looks totally freaked out because he knew he just saw her. Was she there, or was it all in his mind? He rubs his eyes and looks around, and shakes his head as he scopes the area one more time. Oh isn't this exciting, am I breaking you down ? I'll let you make you a comeback And I'll be tearing you down In the next scene, the camera's cut to them laying in bed together. Sara is saying the words of the song, but in her "sleep". The camera's then cut to a room that can't exactly be made out, the same room of the scene earlier in the video. She moves her head around quickly and her body. She does movements that would make the typical person think she is completely crazy. She moves closer to the camera to say the words of the breakdown. As she say the next few words starting with "Always stay close to me". The camera's focus on on Sara in the room as she twitches and sits on the floor, saying the words. Until the last line "This is no secret, no secret". She puts her finger on her mouth as if she's saying "shh" as the video cuts to the next scene. Always stay close to me Don't think you'll leave now I won't promise I'm okay This is no secret, no secret Sara in a very dirty looking room, the walls are rotting. Sara is crying as her boyfriend tried to leave her, she seems to be having a crazy, psychotic tantrum. She throws her hands up in the air to sing the last hook of the song as lights start coming through the walls and fluttering throughout. Sara looks as if she's about to go completely off the deep end. The burning lights soar throughout the room. As the chorus comes up, Sara walks to another part of the room as the scene breaks into the most disturbing scene of the video. The room Sara was doing her psychotic craft in was actually a torture chamber as the camera's move over to find the male protagonest is tied up to a machine. He is screaming trying to break free. There is a countdown on the chamber going 10...9...8...7....6....5....4... The male is screaming for his life, as Sara stares at him evilly. The chorus breaks onto the video as the countdown is happening. The guy is still yelling out. Or This obsession will go over the top I'll slit your fucking throat open (uh) Slit your fcking throat open (uh) Slit your f*cking throat open (uh) Sara just stares at him as a tear rolls down her eyes, as she walks to the room's exit door, she looks back one more time.....3...2....1. The song just goes into it's instrumental, you can't actually see the fate of the male protagonist, but everyone can assume. It was not good. ____________________________________________________ The video ends with Sara being taken out by the police as she's arrested, she looks around at the thousands of paparazzi and the media frenzy that's going on around her as the police walk her into the police car as they drive off the video comes to an end.

Title: Don't Wanna Pretend Anymore Label: Independent Genre: Pop Length: 3:35 Writers: Allyson Grace Producer: James Diamond Released: February 19th 2013 "Don't wanna Pretend Anymore" is the debut single from singer/songwriter and Star Factory season 1 contestant Ashley Grimmie after Ashley finished the first season of Star Factory last year placing in 7th after being sent home by three of the five judges in a sudden death with her friends on the show The Devil You Know she had gone on tour with Alici Lena who was her mentor on the show after the tour Ashley had decided to take a little break from the public and focus on spending time with her family and friends she didn't take a break from music though she was posting videos on YouTube for awhile covering popular songs from artists like Isabel, Weekend and many others Ashley continued doing this for awhile she had made even more friends through YouTube like the writer of this song Allyson Grace who is also known for her YouTube videos of her singing originals and cover Ashley and Allyson had done a few covers together and became really good friends one day Allyson wrote a song that she thought would fit great for Ashley so she decided to give it to her Ashley checked out the song and instantly fell in love with the lyrics she took it to another friend of hers (James Diamond) who is a producer and he said he'd be up for helping her out with that so she hit the studio and recorded the song and fell even more in love with it after hearing the finished version she decided to try and release it independently as her debut into the music industry the song starts out with a piano being played very nicely but simply as well for awhile taking us back to her days on Star Factory where she was pretty much known as the girl with the piano until of course she decided to take a chance and got eliminated anyway the piano continues playing slowly before Ashley begins to sing in a very light and sweet voice as she went through the first verse she then got to the pre-chorus where the piano and her singing had gotten a little more intense as if building up for the chorus she then sang the chorus which wasn't too fast she still kept it slow but it was a little faster and much more intense than the verse she sang showing that more powerful side to her voice that people fell in love with on Star Factory she then finished the chorus and went back into the second verse the piano started playing like it was in the first verse again and she once again began singing in that softer and sweeter voice again that also made people like her on Star Factory she then returned to the pre-chorus which sounded the same again as it did the first time then made her way to the chorus which also sounded the same as last time she then stopped singing however the piano continued playing for a little she then made her way to the pre-chorus singing with a little more emotion and power before going back into the chorus she started it out singing soft and sweet more so than we heard in the verses the piano also was played softer and slower it then picked up again where she showed all of that power and emotion towards the end of the chorus sounding really amazing the piano then continued to play a little until it faded out and ended Ashley wrote: So here it is my debut single crazy right?
