I miss this game too much and have loads of ideas for v4, but is there any point in bringing it back? The only real advantage it would have over TRSG is that it would actually work. Most people saw The Bikstar Game as a replacement while TRSG was down, and that's all it'll ever be. Also, I now have Corazona to administrate. (I have nooo idea what I'm doing there, but that's beside the point.) To make a new forum game would be treason. :P And - the name "Bikstar" still sucks.
Your thoughts?

I think it would be good, but do you think that will really get Carl's attention to fixing the game?

Ah, I use top secret calculations to work out ratings, sales, charts, certificates every week. =] It depends on the popularity of the single/album/whatever, built by roleplaying.

Believe me, I'd love to be able to help Carl set the game up for you lot - thing is, not everyone roleplays, so it wouldn't be fair for me to judge on that .... and, the amount of stuff that's been released, it'd be a TON of work, and I'd need to set up a calculator to do it for me. Which I don't know how to do.

But what I don't like is, that it is more of a popularity contest. What I mean is if people don't like you, you wont do good.

Didn't mean to offend you, but your statement isn't true because in real life if an artist/band doesn't like you it doesn't mean people wont. All members or except for like one have bands and artists. And if they don't like you no matter how good your threads are they wont vote or comment on you.

There are ways to make friends. Also, votes and comments weren't the only factors. Good roleplaying got you a lot more, plus little things like studio time and random numbers added some, as well as your previous discography which could have added a small or big amount depending on how much you'd released.

I might give it another shot, nobody is stopping me. Thing is, even a broken TRSG is more attractive than a working TBSG, because, like previous sales mattering in the BPIs, TRSG's been around a LOT longer. Also, TBSG is an all-roleplay game, rather than a button-clicky game with optional roleplay.
