Hey. Back in the 70s - 80s everyone was importing Kung-Fu films due to a foreign film boom and out of that interest a lot of countries started to produce their own kung-fu films (Mr. Tibbs, The Octagon, Three The Hard Way). Well this is the place to talk about the best of the best.

Currently watching The Five Deadly Venoms.

I enjoyed Ong-Bak

And anything by Hong Kong era Jackie Chan. When Gildermershina would come up to visit our shared grandparents we'd always end up renting a whole new Jackie Chan film. Or a Leslie Neilsen film, but that's less related.

Or did I just totally make this memory up Paul?

I'm a fan of old school hong-kong era Chow Yun Fat. A Better Tomorrow was laughably good.

Who Am I? is fucking glorious. Really all the old ones up to & including Rumble In The Bronx. Bad dubbing just makes it a wee bit better.

I liked The Protector and the second Ong Bak movie. The first and third one's were a bit muddled, I thought.
