2. Missin' You

UserPostedImage

Title: Missin' You
Written by: E. Fox
Genre: Grime/pop
Vocals: Foxxxy, Cinzia Ricci
Synth/Decks: eXo.sEtt

Missin' You is the second song on Foxxxy's eponymous debut album, and will be most easily recognised as the lead single from the album. Performed with worldwide dance superstar and nightclub favourite Cinzia Ricci, the track was released in July of 2012, and went on to hit number one on both the Airplay and Digital Top 20 Charts, as Foxxxy once again showed both her dominance in the modern hip hop scene, as well as demonstrating her enviable ability to create a song that is accessible enough as make a noise in the mainstream charts. The track goes into details surrounding the bitter aftermath of the break up of a relationship. It talks through the way that a person can feel battered and alone, and desperately miss the person they used to be with, while contrasting it with the anger and desire for retribution that can often come about for those who find themselves affected by grief in this way.

A track written as a way to test the waters for an introduction to try more mellow sounding songs, Foxxxy herself said that Missin' You was a song that was drawn from a previous experience that she had in her mid teens, an experience that was, for all intents and purposes, the first time she had loved and lost. "This is anuvva song that like came out totally differently to how it was supposed to sound. People know the Fox by now, innit? You know I'm all about the aggression and the never say die attitude, know? But like, I sat down and wrote this rap about how I hated dis fucker who like ripped my heart in half, and what I'd do if I ever saw him again, and den that never came out, fam. The first parts that I wrote were the sections when I seem to be angry and wound up, and when I was writing that, it was like...I had tears, remembering it all fam, and I was like 'yo I hope dis man ain't forget me yo.' And then like suddenly it was like I wanted to know how he felt about me and ting, and I wanted to be like scream out and be like 'yo fam, I know I in't been around much and ting, but like I still miss you and all dat know?' So when I was writing the chorus, you can hear like how it's much sadder, know? If der is one ting I learned from writing this record, it's dat songs never finish the way you intend when you start them innit?"

When Missin' You was first released in the middle of the summer, the track was hailed as being somewhat of a revelation for Foxxxy. Gone was the sort of immature bitching about other people and how they try to drive her down in life, replaced by an 18-year old analysing her first real heartbreak in such a refreshing way. Critics highlighted how she made the notion of mood swings that we all experience come to life, and how she epitomises the many stages of getting through a break up that almost everyone experiences at some point. Many music commentators also said that the track gave the previously quirky yet closed Foxxxy an almost human side, as opposed to this self styled cartoon rapper that she had almost created on her previous three singles. "This was like perhaps the first really radio friendly song that I ever wrote. I brought Cinzia in innit to make sure this song was a hit cos dat girl is bo! You feel me. Everyone was like tellin' me though that like this was showin' the true Foxxxy for the first time and that, and I'm all 'What?' I mean, all I can say is that I put my heart into this and told everyone the truth, you get me? But I did that wiv every song I write. Did I open up my emotions more and make myself seem like more human and shit? Probably did fam, yeah. I only spit the truth though. I always tell everyone that innit?"

In a bit of a different move to her first song on the debut album, Missin' You sees Foxxxy turn towards a much more pop-orientated song. The verses themselves feel a lot more hip hop in their style and execution, heavily layered with deep bass noises and pounding drums. Once again, Foxxxy's flow is terrifyingly fast, with each verse personifying a serious aura of aggression and anger, that is easily decipherable from the way in which she almost pits every word into her microphone, even though she still manages to crash through every night with a breakneck speed, her rhythm never dropping, her rhymes never missing a beat or stepping even a millisecond out of line. What is noticeable in difference to the first album track, is the way in which the song seems to have more of a melody, even among the quick lines of rap being relentlessly thumped at the listener. In among the anger, Foxxxy still seems able to draw on an element of grace and style that makes the song feel like it has more emotion and worry and sadness than I'm On Top, which had Foxxxy in a much more commanding position, whereas this song sees her, for the first time in the entirety of her career, feeling a little vulnerable and open to being hurt.

For the choruses of this track, vocal responsibility is taken on by nightclub superstar Cinzia Ricci. The choruses are decidedly slower than the verses of the track, with an emotional and epic sounding backdrop created through the use of a trance and dance style synth arrangement from eXo.sEtt. Cinzia's vocals are melodic and beautiful, and with a slight electronic tint over the top of her mesmerising and hypnotising tones, the song was moulded into something that is not only an emotional rollercoaster, but also an epic that would go on to become a hit in the clubs of the UK, the USA, Ibiza, Faliraki and all other party destinations the world over, becoming one of the sounds of the summer, and one of the best selling tracks around duting the warmer months.

"Dis song was like the first full on collaboration I ever did wiv like anova singer rather than like a DJ or someone just doin' music, like when I worked wiv Buzz & Hype innit? Cos of dat, I was like nervous that the right person had to come in to do it. But like after I wrote it and eX worked his magic on the music, I knew who da girl was that had to sing on it, you feel me? Cinzia is like a great artist you know, and I love everyfin she does. She was solid as fuck in that studio, and she did exactly what I wanted. She was magical fam, and I owe her like, a big joint or a drink or sumin yeah? Wivout Conzia though dis song would not have been the success that it was. She has to credit, you get me?"

Let's not take it as far back as the start of our fling/
I gave you my heart, my all, but you were scared of dat ring/
Remember how we were when we had the chance to be one/
I held you deep in my heart your mates said you just wanted fun/
Every day since I run it over in my mind and I think of you/
And when I see you around, I wonder if you feel it too/
Sometimes I find myself readin' the texts on my phone/
It's not that I want you, I'm just feelin' alone/
I don't wanna forget you/
I will never regret you/
But I'm slippin' from your mind when I hear that dial tone/

And when the time came at last I knew we was finished/
It's just I wasn't ready to admit your love had diminished/
I've heard all tha' shit you were talkin' about/
How you told everyone that I'd scream and I'd shout/
But you know that was lies, you pushed me down to the kerb/
I sat in the raindrops watching you leave without a word/
But this ain't time to be cryin'/
Even when you been lyin'/
And now I watch you stalkin' around town wit' your latest bird/

You made me walk through this emotional storm/
Feet bare, skin exposed there ain't no shelter in the warm/
I don't want you back, I just want you to remember/
Your summer-time love turned cold and darker than December/
Why can't you see it's not that easy to let go/
You had an iron grip on my heart but now you're letting it flow/
Now as I'm standing here, my memory is pain, it's true/
You know that I'm still missing you/
(Missing you)

I'm standin' alone, it's like my heart's been ripped from my chest/
You tossed it atop of the fire to be burned with all the rest/
That's all I ever was to you, a pawn in your big game/
I tried to be your queen, but I wanted a knight and you were lame/
But is this the way it is? Is the world just one big board?/
And we just play towards our own goals, tryin' to strike a chord/
I still feel you just rolled a dice/
Chose her over me not once but twice/
I don't hold it against you at all, I just resent bein' ignored/

You made me walk through this emotional storm/
Feet bare, skin exposed there ain't no shelter in the warm/
I don't want you back, I just want you to remember/
Your summer-time love turned cold and darker than December/
Why can't you see it's not that easy to let go/
You had an iron grip on my heart but now you're letting it flow/
Now as I'm standing here, my memory is pain, it's true/
You know that I'm still missing you/
(Missing you)

You're a protagonist, but more Norman Bates than Schindler's List/
This ain't a game of cards, you got no time to stick or twist/
You see you got no way out, I ain't affordin' you no option/
My heart ain't gone to the highest bidder you can't win me at the auction/
I feel like one of us, you or me, we're lost in some kinda daze/
Your life seems to be full of dead ends, like you're scrapin' through a maze/
You said you'd remember me by it/
That was a promise I'll make you stand by it/
You let her win cos, see, she the all new craze/

You made me walk through this emotional storm/
Feet bare, skin exposed there ain't no shelter in the warm/
I don't want you back, I just want you to remember/
Your summer-time love turned cold and darker than December/
Why can't you see it's not that easy to let go/
You had an iron grip on my heart but now you're letting it flow/
Now as I'm standing here, my memory is pain, it's true/
You know that I'm still missing you/
(Missing you)

So give me one more chance to show what I'm feelin'/
You never called back again, left me angry, I'm reelin'/
I don't even want you, I just think it's sad that you forget/
You can't just flush me from your memory like some cheap dyin' pet/
Next time I see you with her yeah, don't worry, I'll say nothin'/
But know that I can, and sometime will, and trust me I ain't bluffin'/
So I feel like I can walk away now/
It's like I got nothing more left to say now/
Maybe one day it'll be you left huffin' and puffin'/

You made me walk through this emotional storm/
Feet bare, skin exposed there ain't no shelter in the warm/
I don't want you back, I just want you to remember/
Your summer-time love turned cold and darker than December/
Why can't you see it's not that easy to let go/
You had an iron grip on my heart but now you're letting it flow/
Now as I'm standing here, my memory is pain, it's true/
You know that I'm still missing you/
(Missing you)

Alex: When it comes to hip-hop/rap ive always been rather picky. This is so different to anything ive heard stateside, it really makes me remember back home! I like it. The lyrics are great, like really, Foxxy you know how to spit rhymes! Also, I never thought id say this, but Cinzia's part is catchy as fuck and carries a heavy chorus. I think I prefer your songs with a bit of heart like this.

3. This is the Place

UserPostedImage

Title: This is the Place
Written by: E. Fox
Genre: Grime/rap/underground
Vocals: Foxxxy, Ms.ile
Synth/Decks/Drums: eXo.sEtt

This is the Place is the third song on the debut album from Foxxxy, and represents the first time in the record that the flame haired rap maestro has taken the chance to apply her foot to the break a little. While the album began at a ferocious pace, which was continued throughout the second song, full of rhymes about personal success, triumph over the negativities of other people, and the violent mood sings and retribution that comes from a break up, the third track is a far more downbeat and slower prospect. Exceedingly emotive in nature, and seeking to hit a nerve with people it is aimed at, Foxxxy addresses issues which the 18-year old sees as being far too close to home and far too prevalent in modern youth culture. The track displays a range of emotions, from sadness, desperation, exasperation and despair, as Foxxxy shows yet another side of her almost chameleonic talent and skill in the modern era of mainstream rap and grime.

This song was written by the 18-year old as a way of expressing her distress at how the youth in some areas of her home city turn from innocent and happy kids, into bands of teenagers whose only intention in life is to patrol the areas they see as their own, and causing injury and even worse to anyone that crosses them, or happens to live in the wrong side of town. The track's slow and steady pace almost signifies a slow meandering through life that can be drawn from the pointless deaths of numerous young people far before they should have passed away naturally. Foxxxy said that everything from the lyrics down to the style and the beat was measured and tested perfectly to ensure that the mood was captured in a way that reflected her sadness over her own home town. "As a young girl in South London, yeah, I remember there was crime and shit, know, but it was all like in the adult world largely, you get me? Dudes would steal and like fight and shit, but us kids, we were happy yeah? Now, fam, fuck I look back at my own hometown, the area I grew up in, and I see like killings and gang culture in among people my own age and shit you feel me? I mean, I grew up wiv some people who in't even breathing anymore, know? All because they walked into the wrong area of the town. Dis track had to reflect my pain and heartfelt sorrow over dis man. Dis is my Toy Soldiers by Eminem know? If it stops one gang member from takin' a knife to school, or lifting a pistol from a tool shed, then I'll be happy. I hope the song reflects my own mood accurately. We did everything to make it sound sad, horrific, and like, make the whole idea of gang life seem...pointless."

If one thing has epitomised the start of Foxxxy's album, it has been the way her music is always so dynamic, and how her focus can change and adapt to fit all new themes and styles whenever appropriate, another important aspect of This is the Place that means the song is yet another that stands out from the crowd and shows Foxxxy to be the true talent that she is, now that she has been allowed to let the ideas and way of life that being given the power to put your music out there can give. While mostly all of the other songs that anyone has heard from Foxxxy to date has been centred around the flame haired hip hop star and her own emotions and feelings towards other people, This is the Place is the first time that we feel empathy from Foxxxy rather than for her. As listeners, we are no longer thinking, "damn, I know how she feels, that must be awful/amazing," and instead we feel her emotions projected onto something much bigger and more important. "When I sat down to write this flow, innit, I think it was the first time in my life that I ever did so and thought "This does not need to be about me." I started to write about how it tore me up and stuff, but then I found myself deletin' and replacin' dem lines, and bringin' in like parts where I ask how other people feel about it, and look at how it can affect community and ting. I'm glad I wrote dis song though, it made me learn a lot, about culture, about violence, and even about myself. I feel like a much more sympathetic and sad person about all of this after having written this track alone."

In terms of the physical sound of the track itself, This is the Place is very much a slower song than listeners will have heard from the first two offerings on Foxxxy's album. It runs together from the almost whining nose that emanates from the end of Missin' You, translating into a sombre background synth noise, before a slow and sad style keyboard comes in, playing a few spaced out notes to give a notion of a calmness that only seems to exist around death. The verses of the song are slow and fairly quiet affairs in terms of music. Foxxxy raps far slower than she has in te past, yet still manages to deliver each line of the rap with the sort of flow and style that everyone is used to, delivering a very polished and fantastic sound that her fans will automatically recognise as her own. The skill and grace with which Foxxxy delivers such a poignant and emotional message is sure to win her praise from yet more critics and fans as a result of a maturity and skill that belies her teenage years. Overall, in the verses, the aura that is portrayed is of Foxxxy marching through the town she used to live in slowly but surely, in the pouring rain, sadly drinking in everything that has become of the place where she started not only her life, but her rap career; a place and a people that influenced her more than any others.

In terms of the choruses on this track, fans of Foxxxy are in for a shock. While previous songs from the flame haired hip hop princess have only ever seen and heard her rap, this one brings another style out of Foxxxy, with a soft, almost whisper-like singing being brought out of Foxxxy to plead for sanity and peace in her old town. The singer visits a style that is out of her comfort zone, but does so with a sort of style and grace that means fans, while surprised, will not feel that it is out of place at all. Those less familiar with Foxxxy will even question their own judgement over where they have ever heard Foxxxy rap before, such is the ease with which she enters such a different and alien style of vocals. The chorus is haunting and tearjerking, and Foxxxy delivers it with a haunting yet sweet voice that no one would have expected her to possess. Backup vocals, setting the tone and just annotating the track, are provided by Foxxxy's friend Ms.ile, her voice high and haunting, and reminiscent of something from European trance music.

"Yeah, bruv, you can catch me singing on this song for the first time ever. I was well nervous and ting though, innit, because it is like well a change from my normal and that know, you feel me? I felt like I wanted to do it though. The fact that it took me out of my comfort zone shows how like I need to show that this is not a comfortable situation, no one in that area I come from ever feels safe, or that they have like a place they can go to get away from it all. They all have to step out if they comfort zone every day and into the danger. So as well as the fact that it fits the song very well, know, I also wanted to portray that type of theme, just so that people know, innit fam?"

Yo, the rains are lashin' down and I'm standin' in this once familiar maze
But I in't gon' run for cover, got no way to escape this haze
Over the water the bright lights shine, creatin' a beautiful sensation
This is the place, my hometown, it's my only permanent destination
Yeah, see we're proud of where we live, at least we are when blood don't flow
From shanks and shooters, more lights out, every life lost such a blow
It's like a fuckin' movie here, I swear my life's been written by Scorcese,
He only walked down an ill-picked street and now he's pushing up the daisies.

Was this what you wanted?
To make our streets just another dumping ground
I get these chills and I'm haunted,
Every day waiting for another kid to be found
Was this what you always dreamed of?
To have our streets running red with lives of the pure
It's more than just letting steam off
It's like a dark epidemic but we can't find the cure

Movin' down from the Thames to the south from the bright lights,
Dey ain't no tourism here, just blood, crips and knife fights
You see every time you lift the steel and go out wiv it in your pocket,
Someone else is closer to bein' just a face encased inside a locket,
You just children, none of you should be confined to the end of a chain,
Your life frozen in youth, an existence that ends in fear, hatred and pain,
Just look around at what bred this, concrete blocks of poor dejection.
No one has to choose the Thug Life when they own life offers just rejection.

Every time I turn around, the rain's made of lead, there's bullets droppin'
But yo this ain't the matrix, you aint Neo, you ain't got the power to be stoppin'
What will it take to make them say no, to stop the fingers squeezin' triggers,
Fight depravity and hate, cos in this place it only figures,
I don't wanna live in a town where murders are common like the rat,
it's a sad way to behave, when the poverty you crave is oil and fries and fat.
We feel like pawns in this crazy game, yo we ain't askin to be queens
Not even kings and knights and castles
We just wanna have the chance to leave here why is it it seems,
That we just ain't worth the hassle.

This can't be the only way of life, can't you break them from this fear?
I know you're thinkin', yo that chick knows drugs and cash and beer,
But listen fam, I ain't no snob, I know there's problems from where I hail,
Don't hate on me for gettin' out, my career is like my bail.
The chance is there to walk away, what happened to takin' on the high road
You only 17 you got a family, don't be tellin' them goodbye though.

So walk away, walk away fam,
Just let it go and turn over a new leaf,
Walk away, turn your back and go, man,
There's anuva life that's that's free of grief,
So walk away, just turn and go, now walkaway fam,
You don't need Hollywood to be your own star,
Just let it go, you've done enough, man,
Just pack a bag, and I'm beggin' you to get in that car.

OOC: Amazing description as always :) I think you're the best at writing them and I love the lyrics.

Isabel: I love that you referred this to 'Toy Soldiers' by Eminem because that was like a serious and eye opening track that really skyrocketed. I love the message in this song and I wish I could rap half as good as you :P You should give me some pointers haha.

4. Never Stop It (Drop It)

UserPostedImage

Title: Never Stop It (Drop It)
Written by: E. Fox
Genre: Grime/rap/dance
Vocals: Foxxxy, Mercedes Payne
Synth/Decks: eXo.sEtt

| The Track |

Never Stop It (Drop It) is the fourth track on Foxxxy's debut album, and is also set to be the second single released from the full length offering. While Foxxxy has never been one to shirk away from controversy in her music, this song is set to be one that will cause more than a stir in the industry thanks to the edgy and notorious themes and lyrics that it, not only flirts with, but blatantly promotes through its party-inspired beats. The song addresses the use of recreational drugs as a party aid, and not only glorifies them, but goes into gratuitous detail about the euphoric and catastrophically exceptional highs that are often achieved by nightclub attendees who have "dropped it", and taken part in illegal drug use. One thing is certain, when the single is released later in the year, whether the case is plastered with parental advisory notices or not, the controversial Foxxxy will once again have caused serious waves, and set tongues wagging for all the right/wrong reasons (delete so as to suit your personal opinion.) Teaming up with up and coming pop/dance beauty Mercedes Payne, this track is set to be yet another massive hip-hop anthem from a girl who has really taken the genre by the scruff of the neck and shook it hard.

While the tracks that preceded this on the album were flirting with the notion of a more mellow and quiet Foxxxy, where she displayed an emotional side that was scarcely seen in her earlier days, the fourth track on the album almost drags the listener back to a sound that is vintage Foxxxy. The lyrics are hard hitting and controversial, and the track is hard and fast, the heavy beat serving as a punch in the gut to listeners and leaving them with a curious smile across their face, thanks to its sick hooks and gloriously catchy flows and chorus. "This was the song that I always wanted to write, but I needed the freedom of havin' an album to stick on innit? If a chick be writin' dis when she trying to make her way in the game, peeps be like 'wot da fuck?' and castin' her off as like some controversial Amy Winehouse style nutcase, you get me? Yeah, so like why have I written a song that's like heavy in the promotion of drug use? Dat's what people be wantin' to know fam, innit? Well, let me just tell ya, you get me? People misunderstand the notion of drugs, yeah? Like, aight, first of all, from my point of view, ev'ryfin' in dis song is totally 100% true yeah. Every reference that I make to the use of illegal substances, it's all true, I did it all yeah? I know like PR people will hang they head in they hands, you get me, but this is reality fam. I in't tryin' to offend anyone, and I in't tryin' to influence no one, but this is the way it is. Music is truth, fam. I just write what comes from my heart."

However, while the song courts controversy and welcomes abuse from all comers for its content and themes, there is no taking away from the fact that Never Stop It is a fantastic club tune that unites the world of hip hop and trance like never before. The beats are heavy and hard, the vocals contrast and dance and mingle beautifully, and it all comes together to create the sort of thing that will live long in the memory for all the right reasons. It's been said before, but when it comes to writing memorable hooks and songs that manage to cross the gorge between mainstream and underground, there is no one in the industry who can quite come close to the majestic brilliance of Foxxxy, and this is on show once again in her newest track. "I just love makin' these sort of tunes innit? I mean yeah, it might be about drug abuse and some sort of unhealthy party lifestyle and ting, though, but just take a step back and listen wivout gettin ya knickers all bunched up in your vag and you'll see that it's just a feel good tune yeah. It makes everyone I've let hear it smiles. It's a wonderful thing to be able to do that wiv music, ya get me?"

Showing once again her immense ability to turn her hand to any sort of sound in hip hop, Never Stop It (Drop it) sees Foxxxy's sound turn back to the more underground bass heavy beats that were evident in her early songs. The track has a dancey edge to it, but Foxxxy still manages to hit a rhythm with her rhymes that makes every line hit the listener like it's been fired from a cannon with the heavy, dub step-like bass and womp sounds raining down beats on each and every word to burst free from the rapper's lips. The verses sound far less angsty and violent than those which have come from the teenager in the past, as she manages to let the words from her rap flow slightly smoother than she has done in the past. This does not mean that they are any less hard hitting though, as Foxxxy once again lets every word brilliantly hang in the air to let the meaning of the song come through loud and clear. While the theme of this song may be controversial and open to criticism from parents of her younger fans, the mischievous tone that the grim star adds to perfectly delivered lines of rap make the song curiously acceptable to the pop market in its expertly packaged and produced glory.

The chorus of the fourth song is the responsibility of another of Foxxxy's collaborators, as Mercedes Payne, the up and coming pop star championed by the likes of Stephanie Fierce and Weekend joins forces with the teenage starlet. The choruses of the track really help to make the song as glorious as it is, as each and the accompanying trance-inspired synth just oozes the party feeling that Foxxxy and Mercedes repeatedly sing about throughout the track. Mercedes sings about keeping the party alive all night long, in a catchy and hook-led chorus that will have fans pumping their fists, moving their hips and chanting along throughout the world over the course of the next few months. Every second line is delivered by the beautiful tones of Mercedes, before Foxxxy chants "Drop it" in reference to the taking of a pill or other drug. The chorus is fast, it has short and snappy lines, and it screams hit from the amazing moment it first kicks in with a quick drum roll at the end of the first verse.

"If there was like one girl, who has like caught my attention dis year through like new people and ting, then it was Mercedes, yeah? When her team approached me to work on a song wiv me I was like stoked and that, know? I knew it had to be a party track straight away. Did I always intend it to lean so heavily towards like advocatin' drug use and shit? Nah, but like I always say, emotion pours out when I'm writin' a song, and like the lyrics say, there is a reason I take drugs on a night out. Only one person, my little tour buddy, knows why I take dem, know? If you knew, no one would judge, you get me?
Working wiv dis girl on dis track though was awesome. She loves the whole party ting and we was like dancin' and singing in the studio and havin' a fuckin' ball bruv. She knows what it is About! I loved her, and she was such a star. That chorus wiv her voice, innit, that is gonna be one the most memorable moments of the year. It's all about partying."

| Lyrics |

Come drop another pill, sit down yo sink dat bottle/
My meds gon' cure your ills, tonight we won't be subtle/
I'll snap my fingers, hit the floor, kill the light/
This is our Jersey, kick tha Shore, start a fight/
Them beats be always droppin', don't take the biscuit, fuck the cake/
Cos this is real, we ain't in Hollywood, we never gon' be fake/
You hear that tune fam?/
Bleach bimbos all be chantin' "dat's my jam, jam"/
My heart's just beatin' right out my fuckin' chest/
It be like bam bam bam!/

We'll never stop it (Drop it!)/
Yeah we're too busy having fun/
(Drop it!) Don't ever stop it/
Just let this night go on and on/
The speakers are blowing,/
And the big hits are flowing,/
So pour me another/
Line me up just one more/
We'll never stop it (Drop it!)
We're never never stopping/

I'm gon' inhale my lunch in a green puff of smoke/
Yo you know I'll share the love and pass it round for a toke/
And when the time comes later, cut my dinner on a mirror/
Yeah we'll be chasin' dat high and bruv we've never been nearer/
Fuck the bouncer, take your party policy and fuck it off/
Such a downer, here's our new regime, drop the powder, suck it off/
Life of the party through a dollar bill/
It never matters if it's gon' be powder, a joint or a pill/
By the end of the night I won't be hearin' what they play/
And you know when I wake up tomorrow, I'm gon' be feelin' dat ill!/

Did the music just stop or is it just that I've been trippin'?/
Cos when we walked through the door, feel the vibe, we be grippin'/
All of these people up in here, it's like they wanna know who we be/
And we'll be showin' them later when we're down on our knees/
Yo you be dissin our vibe, we love the drugs and causal sex/
It's just whizz, ching and fuckin' what you gonna do next?/
You say I'm an eyesore/
The sweat be droppin' from the roof when we be thumpin' the floor/
You'll never make us leave, we baked, but there ain't no bread/
Dont try to show us the door/

We'll never stop it (Drop it!)/
Yeah we're too busy having fun/
(Drop it!) Don't ever stop it/
Just let this night go on and on/
The speakers are blowing,/
And the big hits are flowing,/
So pour me another/
Line me up just one more/
We'll never stop it (Drop it!)
We're never never stopping/

Stop....stop the tunes, I feel like I'm comin' down/
Come on come on I need annuva hit right now/
Let me feel it I wanna get a sense that my heart stop/
I'm on a downer but I'm still chasin' the top/
Hi high Hi high yeah I'm after the dragon/
Shut up, I gotta get on 'fore I can ever fall of ya wagon/

We'll never stop it (Drop it!)/
Yeah we're too busy having fun/
(Drop it!) Don't ever stop it/
Just let this night go on and on/
The speakers are blowing,/
And the big hits are flowing,/
So pour me another/
Line me up just one more/
We'll never stop it (Drop it!)
We're never never stopping/

Such a city full of style, makes everyone look so glum/
Dis is London, fuckin' smile, dis hip shit is just dumb/
Feel the sensation spread to my fingers, it's like elation/
The powder rippin' through my mind to kick off dis celebration/
It's like electric fuckin charges goin' off in my brain/
And my eyes filled with lights I'm seein' colourful rain/
You'll never know this joy/
If you knew what I was forgettin' you'd see that these drugs is my toy/
A way to block a brain that only wants to remember the pain and/
Forget your fuckin' love song, fuck Nick Hoult, dis more than About a Boy/

We'll never stop it (Drop it!)/
Yeah we're too busy having fun/
(Drop it!) Don't ever stop it/
Just let this night go on and on/
The speakers are blowing,/
And the big hits are flowing,/
So pour me another/
Line me up just one more/
We'll never stop it (Drop it!)
We're never never stopping/

Are you all gonna leave us, the last one's standin?/
Foxxxy and Miss P on the dance floor here in tandem/
We feel like we could go all night see we still got our buzz/
We droppin' so wild it's illegal so call the fuzz/
Take another last pill and feel the effect so electric/
I just wanna stomp my feet, clap my hands, I feel my brain click/
Don't shut us down/
You never feel what we dealin' I feel so thirsty I could drown/
Woah, what? Stop the flow that don't even make any sense/
But I'm still the fuckin' princess and tonight is gon' be my crown./

We'll never stop it (Drop it!)/
Yeah we're too busy having fun/
(Drop it!) Don't ever stop it/
Just let this night go on and on/
The speakers are blowing,/
And the big hits are flowing,/
So pour me another/
Line me up just one more/
We'll never stop it (Drop it!)
We're never never stopping/
