He is in the kitchen, rooting through the cupboards looking for something to eat, it feels as though his stomach is about to collapse in on itself and he only ate a pizza like an hour ago! He groans and pours himself a glass Coke before walking back over to the sofa, which he proceeds to drop himself into, gently spilling his drink slightly onto his grey cotton joggers.

"shit.." he mutters under his breath and starts to rub his trouser leg to dry it off slightly. He picks up the television remote and turns the tele on; Two and a Half men is on. He loves this show, even after Charlie Sheen was replaced! It'll always be one of his favourites.

The bell rings and he jumps up. Who would be coming to visit him? He walks over to the speaking point and presses the button to ask who it is?

"Hello? Who is it?"

His heart sinks slightly when he hears a deep voice exclaiming that they were the police, he didn't ever want to have to deal with the police again... Then he hears a familiar laugh, one he hasn't heard in a while.

"Steph!! Yeah of course, i'll open the door for you now!" He presses the buzzer to unlock the door for her, "My door is unlocked, let yourself in"

He lets go of the button and walks back over to the sofa and stands watching the television for a second.

Stephanie walks through his door and he smiles, she is as lovely as ever. "I've been a lot worse," he laughs, but they both know it is true, he has been a lot worse. He walks over to give her a hug.

"How have you been? I see there is a new album coming out! What number is that, 20?!" he laughs again.

He can't help but laugh at her, she always comes out with something funny. This is why they are still good friends after everything.

"Yeah, i know. It's difficult to get a grip on things again, but that's why i'm over here you know. America is a whole new world - i mean i've been over here many times, but people don't know me the same over here." he walks over to the kitchen area and turns the tap on to fill the kettle up.

"Oh yeah? You want a cup of tea or coffee? You can give me your solution and we'll see," he laughs again lightly.

He pours himself a tea and stirs as she talks, he can't believe she is offering him a record deal after all of the stuff that has happened over the last 2 years. "You actually want to offer me a contract? After all the shit that has happened in my life since i left you guys the first time around? Are you mad?!"

He thinks for a second and then realises she called him James a minute ago, "And Steph, you should know my name by now... It's Matt, not James!! James is my middle name! Matt James Young!" He laughs and sits down on the sofa, smiling at Steph while still in shock that she actually offered him a record deal.

He sits and thinks about it for a minute, "I want a one album deal. Don't wanna be tied up for too long. One album, and that will get my message across. Who knows what i'll do after that. We can talk about that then though."

He nods, "I do. I have already written a couple of tracks for an album. I was gonna release one independantly, but it looks like i don't have to anymore haha,"

"It's sort of like i'm finishing off my first contract that i had, was a two album deal and i only released one. I've just realised, this is my fourth record deal and i've only released two albums.... I must have been awful for just leaving labels..."

He smiles, "That shouldn't be too much of a problem, thanks Stephanie"
