Amy: I love this track, I've already said before that you're a very unique act and this just proves that once again. It's another great track and you can both definitely take over this industry, You're my new favourite act and I cannot wait to get this record and hear more songs :)

Further into the start of the record, "Cadillac Jack" carries on from where "Red Lips" left off, a number of similarities seen in the two. Although many will think of it as a sexy track, Arianna describes it more as "goofy" due to the fun both her and Jared had writing it. Despite that, Arianna's seductive vocals come into good use for this track, especially for a song about a hot and steamy car ride with a male lover. This time round, Arianna is the sole vocalist on the track while Jared sticks to the production side of things. The song is less hip-hop influenced unlike "Red Lips", instead taking on a more indie pop sound. Production wise, it's kept laidback and simplistic, as Arianna's voice glides over a backing of relaxed piano and horns.

"This song was just really fun for me and Jared to write, I had to giggle a lot during this, I see it as more of a goofy track than a sexy one. Oh, and it's not based on a real life experience, I can promise that much," Arianna assures. "I think whenever someone thinks of a wild Vegas night, sex definitely comes into it, so it was important for us to include it into the album in a way that still had some charm and class to it, so I hope we achieved that."

"It's not my number one favourite on the album, but it's still one that both me and Arianna are proud of, it's definitely up there," Jared confesses. "I just think Arianna's voice goes hand in hand with the music to this song, she pulls that old school feel off well. There's a number of our songs that I could imagine being played in a quiet smokey bar back in the 60s, and this is definitely one of them."

Track number four is "Movie Scene Queens", a song that both Arianna and Jared have agreed on being one of their favourites on the record due to the subject of its lyrics that deal with fame and the heartless souls that possess it. The track is the slowest and most ballad-like song on the album, almost sounding like a song from an epic thriller movie as the song builds in tempo towards the chorus, before haunting strings and a steady drum beat are added to the mix. Paired with lyrics such as "Lips blood red and a body full of cocaine" and "She'd fuck you for just a little more press" in the chorus, "Movie Scene Queens" is definitely one track to remember on the record.

When commenting on the song, Arianna said, "It was important for me and Jared to find a nice balance between the more fun, carefree songs and songs with a lot more depth to them, and "Movie Scene Queens" was a great way of showing a different side to us. We wanted to show that for an indie duo, we really don't think of ourselves as more credible than anyone else. We just wanted to show that we don't take ourselves all that seriously, but that we're still able to make songs like this one."

"You get those classic songs in certain Hollywood movies where there's these really dramatic strings that add a lot to the scene, if you were to put it on mute, it just entirely loses the effect that it gives," Jared added. "So we thought it'd be a cool idea to go with that idea and steer away from the typical piano-ballads, and I'm glad we did, because it's got that real Hollywood movie sound to it now to go perfectly with the song."

Ryan: I've always loved you guys and never been shy about it all. Your debut EP earlier this year was phenomenal, it showcased some amazing songwriting and production as well as your own beautiful voices. Judging from the first 4 songs from this record, this shall not disappoint either. Movie Scene Queens is definitely my favourite thus far, it's stunning and im a sucker for ballads.

Cassie: If they ever ban internet porn and I can't get any lovin' I just know that I'll be keeping this album close by. Marilyn is, once again, so sexual, and I love the imagery in it. "What You Don't Know" is the most rock-influenced track on the album, and one that is described as the most "open and honest" according to Arianna, who sings solely on the track. With one look at the lyrics, it's not hard to guess what situation inspired the song, but the duo remain as tight-lipped as possible about them. Opening with a slight acoustic feel to it with a gentle backing of acoustic guitar, the song soon builds starting from the second verse, before soaring electric guitars and drums create a powerful chorus, featuring the most impressive vocals heard from Arianna to date. It's a huge difference from the laidback, sultry vocals that are heard on plenty other Hey Lolita songs, but this one alone shows that she can adapt very well to other styles.

"Out of every song we've ever recorded, this is the most open and honest one we've ever done," Arianna confesses. But without giving too much away on the real meaning behind it, she adds, "It's every man or woman for his or herself in this world, and it's that whole mind frame in this song where you've got yourself into the worst situation ever, but you're trying to protect yourself. I've made mistakes in the past which have definitely made this a personal song to me, so I hope others can relate to it in some way."

"The sound of this track definitely just felt natural, it's got a lot of emotion in it, and I think all those rock power ballads are really the ones that go down as classics because they work so well," Jared follows on, discussing the sound of the song. "We listened to a lot of songs for inspiration during the recording stage, so it's those old classics that definitely helped us to add some rock into the album."

"Summer Girl (Get Together)" is one of the more upbeat and cheerful tracks on Vegas Nights and shows a more fun, carefree side to Hey Lolita. With a relaxed sound consisting of uplifting, summery guitars, a steady drum beat and synths, "Summer Girl" is the most pop-sounding track on the album loaded with catchy lyrics that would most likely give the duo their big breakthrough hit if they were to release it. Tackling a more pop song, Arianna admits that the lyrics are "pretty much about nothing but a pretty girl", stating with a giggle that her and Jared were "embracing their inner popstar".

"I don't think 'Summer Girl' is a favourite of mine and Jared's, but it's definitely a fun one to listen to, it shows a completely different side to us," Arianna explains. "We like to think of our music as different, eclectic and fun, whether it be through the lyrics or the music, and I think we definitely achieved it with this track, especially the fun side to it."

Jared added, "It wasn't our intention to make radio hits, we could have made a whole album like this one if we wanted. We could have put it out, cashed in on the success and lived off of that album forever, but this album means a lot to us, we're not in it for the fame or money, we just genuinely love what we do. It's taken a long time for us to get this record out, so I'm just pleased people can hear it."

Finishing off the album on a slower note is "Forever Dreaming", one track that shows emotional and vulnerable vocals from both Arianna and Jared, showing off their both equally impressive and unique voices. Opening with a simple piano riff, the song soon takes a slight urban twist in the chorus, where pounding drums sampled from Kanye West's "Coldest Winter" are heard, giving the song a dramatic and powerful feel to it while the duo sing together, their contrasting voices working perfectly on the track.

"Me and Scar like to stray away from what you'd expect on a typical ballad, and adding that Kanye sample in really brought this song to life, I love those drums so much," Arianna said. "A number of our songs have a hip-hop influence to them that I like, it's really down to what me and Jared grew up with. Jared grew up listening to a lot of indie and rock records, and I was brought up more with soul, hip hop and pop, so I think we've done a great job of blending as many of those together as possible."

"It was Arianna's decision to add in the Kanye sample, she listens to a lot more rock these days, but she's got a lot of hip hop on her iPod. Everyone thinks I'm the gangster looking one with the scar and all, but after seeing her music collection, she's the real one," Jared reveals with a chuckle. "She made a damn good decision though, because we were looking for a way to make that chorus as hard-hitting as possible and those drums we sampled did the trick."

Ryan: Do you hear that? That's the sound of every other label owner dropping dead for them not delivering one of the best albums of the year. This is as unique and different of an album as you will get. I have a great deal of respect for you guys for not backing down and continuing to do what you love. I am proud that Hey Lolita is signed to North Hill Records. Keep it up Arianna and Jared.

Nate: I might be bias, but I believe Ari is one of the best voices you will find in music. Her tone is so different that people are going to be drawn to, they are bound to. As well as lyrically this album goes through a lot of different phases, which I love. It doesn't stay in one place for too long, I enjoy that, it doesn't get boring. My personal favorite is "Cadillac Jack", for reasons I will not reveal publicly.

Brittany: What a brilliant album. Despite everything Arianna has been pulled into, you two have delivered a very enjoyable album that is very truthful just by hearing the stellar lyrics. You guys definitely are an unapologetic, powerhouse singing duo and you've proved to me that you are the ones I want to hear for the next few years. Amazing job.
