Sam stops playing guitar and looks solemnly at Castor. "You really think so?" he says with a glimmer of hope, but it ceases quickly. "I don't think so. Why would she? I'm just some loser in a metal band. All the guys on big brother are big stars with lots of money and awesome hair and all I've got is a futon in my mom's basement and this long-ass hair that I haven't washed in two days. I can't compete."
Corporal Cheng returns with some purloined ice cream cones. "Lieutenant Sam! Ice cream! ....Lieutenant sam?"
