By the standards of classic 60s pop, it's bad. By the standards of modern pop, that's really not good. No Girls Aloud, no Sugababes. That's for sure.

So yes, in my opinion it is not as good as many other modern pop songs, it is distinctly mediocre pop music, inoffensive but uninspiring.

And well done on knowing the decade. I don't see your point. It's bad compared to The Beatles, The Stones, The Who, Jefferson Airplane, Love, blah blah blah. IN MY OPINION. Obviously.

Yes. to me Pop made a huge transition form the 60's(boring) to the 70's(fun). And this has a 70's vibe to it.

im my previous statement i was first of all replying to the simpsons quote by implying i could watch it again thus moving the worst 20 seconds of my life forwards in time to the present.. Or in other words, by watching it again i would simply be compounding the fact that i detest simple visual driven pop music with no originality whatsoever...

The second part of my statement was directed at stephaniwazere when she implied that in her opinion anyone old enough to go to a Strip club must surely like and love the song and video simple because it has a blonde woman in it. Insulting both myself and millions of other men with the assumption that all we care about is a hot woman in a video and then we will fall over ourselves just to jack of to it and buy the single, album and every poster in the world featuring them, Instead of thinking.. this song is a bit shite and the video's crap as well, and then going of and listening to some steely dan.
