erich looks at his reflection in the window. "hmm,i see now phalli scrawled on me. am i to assume many pictures were taken with many nude men around me?. so how was the show? did the royal mounted police come in with their horses and start signing "i'm a lumberjack and i'm ok"? that would be sooo boss."

erich laughs a bit."oh,i probably should have informed someone the gas gauge always reads full.i like to be an optimist,so i dont want to look at the gauge and think,"oh shit. i'm almost empty.""

karoliena shakess nina.who in spite of being able to wake up pretty,doesnt sleep pretty. she is snoring and drooling.karoliena finall covers nina's nose and mouth until she gasps for air.


"what the fuck,you fucking cunt?! you almost bloody killed me! "nina spots castor and switches to being very sweet," next time wake me a little gentler,ok?" she then winks and blows a kiss towards him.

erich grins,"yeah. betsy is kinda like the car in christine. she only likes me and fights when someone else tries to handle her. you know where are off to tonight?"

nina smiles as she sees castor blush. karoliena notices this and gives nina a "stop fucking around with him,he is taking it far more serious than you" look. nina just smirks back at her before sitting next to castor. karoliena loudly sighs her disappointment.

"toronto,toronto...." erich says and rummages around the glove box and withdraws a map that clearly is of europe circa 1963." he looks over it,nodding and saying "yes,yes." to himself. he then puts the van in gear and off they go.

nina smiles and takes castor's hand. she kisses his cheek and tells him" i missed you last night,love. sleeping just isnt the same without...you know."

karoliena shakes her head and sits up with erich.

nina kisses him back,far too passionately for polite company.

karoliena looks at him and nina. "trust me.you dont want to know. " she says and turns back around.

nina tries getting his attention again by saying "karoliena is just jealous.she totally had a crush on you."

karoliena,stops in the midst of rolling a joint.," yeah,i had a crush on castor.but i would have been honest with him up front! what are you going to do when erica finally gets back,huh? you going to just drop castor like a bad habit? kick erica to the curb? what?"


nina scowls,"dont profess to understand about erica and i,love. you know you're just a girl we fuck,right? if you werent erich's girlfriend,we probably wouldnt even talk to you.maybe YOU should be honest with yourself."she fold her arms and glares at karoliena.

karoliena's lip quivers,usually she is always in control to the point of being called cold,but these words from a friend is too much. she starts to cry and whispers "fuck you,nina."

erich holds her hand and looks around in vain to remedy the situation.

karoliena,still uncharacteristically sobbing,"tell him,nina."

nina takes his hand and looks up at him,she sighs a bit. "well....these past few days have been like fucking heaven.really,love."she hesitates slightly."but...i am erica's girlfriend. as in....you know.we're an item.being with you is just sex...at least i thought it was.i...i kind of fancy you...like...REALLY fancy you."she sighs again." it was supposed to be a one time thing,but...." she trails off.


erich turns the radio on to make background. the only station that comes in is a sports talk show. "of fucking great" he spats. i hate talk radio.

there is a very awkward silence that falls on the van. erich concentrates on driving,partially because of what is going on behind him. and partially because to his mind the trees passing them by are dancing the charleston.

karoliena sort of looks at castor and quietly speaks" i am so sorry,but it had to be done."


"well..i thought you knew,castor.you see me as more than just a girl to have fun with?" nina says.she long knew this day was coming,but none of her other flings saw her as anything more than just that. a fling.

erich pulls the van into a bar." ok.uh,karoliena and i need drinks.LOTS of drinks." he and karoliena scurry out of the van and into the bar.so their friends can talk.


nina looks hurt."well....i am that kind of person.i just sort assumed you were too." *she looks out the window and thinks for a moment. "would you want something more with me,love?" she asks with her head still turned. "before you answer. erica will understand if she and i were to....try something else. i want you to know i've done porn. not a whole lot.but more than anyone should... i'll probably be a lousy girlfriend,but i will try. and if you want a non open relationship."she turns back to him. "i give you my word i'll be true to you."

nina crosses her legs and puts her hands in her lap." you sure,love? be prepared for a lot of people to give you a lot of shit about being with me in a monogamous relationship. but.." she looks up and hugs him."i will never let you down....or get all frigid now that i captured you."she laughs."
