Doritos are also a bit shit for strumming, tend to break easily. |

My back is killing me, I spent the whole day yesterday just laying in bed. On saturday I was a bartender at an open bar party, it lasted 8 hours and there were 2000 people in there. I can't even walk properly and staying on my foot without moving is excruciating. At least I got to make out with a really hot guy, but still... |

anyone else remember when the name "erich hess" wasnt always listed as being here? i know i can't. i guess it's better than the alternative. not having miss hess around stopped being fun about 2 weeks ago,not that i want her anywhere near me. i just miss the routine...having someone to fight with at least killed time in a more creative way than playing pretend rockstar. |

I've been messing around with my guitar. Couple of hours yesterday, about 45 minutes so far today. The main progress has been gosh my middle & index fingers are sore from holding down frets. I managed to play an A minor, & a D. But not one after another. I also find my fingers can barely reach separate frets at once, & my pinky is useless because it just won't operate independently from the ring finger. But it's been fun. |

If you can do those two, you should be able to do an E. 022100. |

That's just how it is when you start. Eventually your fingers will learn to stretch and move indapendently. Like gildy said, an E chord is pretty easy, and E minor is probably the easiest on the guitar. C is easy, and so is the simplest form of playing the F chord. Also G. Lol, once you start it's hard to stop. ;) |

i got my pinkie working by just playing 1-2-3-4 over and over again.usually while watching tv or listening to music or something like that. just making sure to use your pinkie for the 4th fret and you should be golden.
i spent years playing punk rock,my metalhead brother in law found it appalling that i didnt use my pinkie,so he demanded i do this. it worked, but it took ages to get the pinkie to move smoothly. |

Useful tip, I'll try that out while I watch the latest Sons of Anarchy this afternoon! It's surprisingly satisfying, knowing that you are making some progress. Just going to try & do an hour or so of fannying about a day. Man, if I'd started doing this when I got the thing...Hahaha |

When I was still flying below the legal age to purchase such goods, I remember Aldi did a small range of very very cheap German red wine. That was always a winner. |

Cheap is still cool, even at 24. When I walk into a student orientated bar with my buddies on a Friday after work and find a pint of beer for below £2, I'm still all "YES! What a win." When I got 2 beers and 2 Jagerbombs for £9.90 the other week in a nightclub, I was like "Woah woah woah...make that four of each." |

Back in my underage days (last year) I was well into my 2 litre bottle of cider for £3.50. Done the job well. Used to leave you with a rotten aftertaste however.
Being 18 is pretty sick though now. You pretty much qualify for everything going about. On the subject of Jagaerbombs, we can get 2 for £5 over here. Not too bad. Although lately ive started drinking white wine quite a bit, after a bottle you be well on but not too far gone. |
