Mercedes Payne written by: O.Silk produced by: O.Silk Label: Studio 60/Tric-Jam Well it’s been it’s been 5 long months since we last heard from Femcee/Singer, Allura Silk. In May she announced that she planned on releasing her next Mixtape “One Woman Army” before releasing her debut album. But the summer flew by and there was no release. Many fans were angered, thinking she had taken another hiatus. But those rumors were laid to rest when Allura announced that her album would be released December 4th, 2012 via Tric-Jam, the Femcee’s record label. Allura has scrapped all plans on a Mixtape and is now ready for the grand event. The release of her long awaited debut album. The album has been in the making for 2 and a half years. Many people thought the album would see the light of day. But all those reservations will be proven wrong come December 4th, 2012, when Allura Silk releases her debut album #OTJMB. The album title has yet to be announced, however, Allura did give fans a clue when she tweeted the letters OTJMB on twitter, saying those are the initials of the album. One thing Allura is ready to announce is her first official single off the album, “21st Century Hoez” which features budding pop-star, Mercedes Payne. The single will be released on Tues, October 23rd, 2012. Allura hasn’t spoken much on the single. However revealed today, “21st Century Hoez was a blast. I think it’s my most fun song yet. It’s very colorful. Very American, very Asian, very Haitain, very world wide. I think everyone from Americans to Indians to Anarticans will love it. But we got my girl Mercedes Payne on the record. Her vocals are so smooth, silky like my last name, and sweet. She’s a sweet girl. And I know were gonna rock out on the vide, which is set to be filmed this Tuesday, October 23rd. So expect the video to come out real soon. Thank you so much to #TeamSlaughterHouse for sticking with me and bearing with me. The album is almost here and were are chasing our dreams. I love you Slaughter’s.” Allura Silk will be hitting up Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club” tomorrow morning, to release a teaser of the single, “21st Century Hoez”, as well as talk about her album, and anything else pertaining to her.
