Anyone listen to them? I think they have a very unique sound. They're from Canada and I've always heard of them and listened to their song "Surrender" from Billy Talent II alot but I never really got into them until like last summer. Their new CD Billy Talent III came out last Tuesday. I couldn't find it in any stores or on ITunes so I went to download it. I wouldn't of downloaded it if I could find it in a store but I couldn't so I did. I was hoping to go see them I think next week with Rise Against and Rancid. |

Most death metal bands do all sound the same. But there's handful of innovative bands doing something slightly different that make them interesting. |

I guess, the same with most genres really. Most of the more popular pop punk stuff is pretty bland, as it sticks to a formula that people like. |

You should listen to Anti-Flag's early stuff, and the stuff now though. Now its SO much more commercial, but i still like it all the same. |

Yeah, its a good album but if you listen to say 'Die for the Government' you can really see the difference, and how they've changed under pressure from mainstream punk music like Billy Talent. |

I guess that would apply to subsubgenres, but I find it hard to believe that you can't hear the difference between a late 70s/early 80s heavy metal band (ACCEPT, THIN LIZZY) and some boring shitty "brutal" death metal band. ;)
