If you only got your news from the mainstream media you'd never have realised that more people have died in Haiti from the hurricane than in the States. It's almost as if we value the lives of non-white, non-English speaking people less... |

I´ve lost weight! I´m not on a diet and yet I managed to lose 30 pounds in the last 3 weeks :).
The effects are already showing up, the guy I spent three years of high school having a crush on asked me out! So excited :D :D |

P.S does anyone have any tips for beard growth? I'm growing a chinstrap + moustache combo (beard without joining it to tash basically) but i have two patches either side of my goatee that are hairless or bumfluffy? How can I stimulate growth there?! |

I guess it comes down to luck, some people can't grow beards as well as others. But I think a lot of it is to do with people giving up before it grows to a decent length. I've never shaved the whole thing off since I was able to grow one, but I've shaved parts of it more recently and I have no idea how people put up with shaving every day. It ruins my skin, it's and it's really just a hassle. |
