If you are a fan of Scott R.H and soul sensation Alicia Lena, then you will not be seeing them on your television screens come later this month when singing competition Starfactory returns for it's second official season. For some months having tweets by the creator of the show, put it up in air that not all the judges for season two of the competition will be returning to the mentoring panel but today, it has been officially confirmed when the competitions recurring Social Media Correspondent, Christina Ortega broke the news. "Alicia Lena and Scott Hilton will not be returning for this season of Starfactory unfortunately for reasons that aren't my place to reveal. It was an honor having such talented musicians and now mentors on the judging panel last season and although they are not returning, we still maintain a relationship with both figures and we still remain cordial. There is no bad blood or tension". Scott R.H and Alicia Lena who's Starfactory contracts were worth 16 million and 13 million dollars respectively will be turning away from the large wadded checks.

Rumors have been circulating that Scott R.H was intended to actually return this season but backed out last minute as his wife Gia Rose-Hilton was becoming increasingly annoyed by the show's industrious schedule and felt worked up by the amount of time she knew he would be taking away to be working with the other artists. Other sources say, Scott has been looking to make a long awaited comeback with 'Blood Of Wecz' and returning to Starfactory would push those plans back indefinitely and so after signing the contract, asked for it to be terminated and so Damion Holmes respected his wishes. Alicia Lena on the other hand wished for her contract to be relinquished as the soulful songstress is taking an extended break from music and Starfactory would only hold off this much needed break that Alicia Lena has been deserving.

Last season, R.H and Lena brought their talents to the competition with Scott mentoring both Casey Johnson, who he later signed to Chaos Records, and The Devil You Know who were both very successful in the competition with Johnson reaching as far as the final of the competition before losing to Aubrey Mikkel, the eventual winner. Alicia Lena mentored Ashley Grimmie who was also a competitor who made quite some noise, starting out as an underdog and made it to the top 6 where she was eliminated but returned for the season finale putting on an excellent performance and soon being signed by Damion Holmes's production company "The Underground".


However, now that we know Scott R.H and Alicia Lena will not be returning for sure, what does this mean for the rest of the judging panel? There is now two large gaping holes in the judging panel that is now made up of only Michelle Green, Hayden Merjos, and Brittany Knox; and we are not 100% sure of their terms on the show or whether or not they will be returning for this season. For months, fans have bee anticipated whether or not there will be new judges and it looks like we will most definitely have two new judges that will fill the places of Hilton, and Lena. With big shoes to fill, it is really exciting to see who will be signing, or who has signed new contracts with the hit television series as the show is slated to return by the middle, or end of this month and if Damion Holmes has to scramble to find replacements, we are sure with his business man antics and large bucks, he'll be able to snap two mentors up, if he hasn't already. What about Knox, Merjos, and Green? Until we are officially told of the judging panel in the coming weeks, they have been tight lipped about whether or not they will be returning to the show.

We will find out soon whether or not these are just rumors, or the truth and who exactly will be on the judging panel of Starfactory as the show fiery anticipation is starting to rumble up among the music industry. Will you be tuning in?
