Today marks the release of Suburban Sunrise's 3rd EP titled "End Of The Line." The new EP features a new side and sound to the Southern California rockers but not a bad side. This is easily one of the best release by the band to date. Every track has something new and something fun that it brings to the table. Notable tracks on the album are the first single, "Lightning In Your Eyes" which is more of a relaxed side to the band and features beautiful vocal skill by lead vocalist Matt Urie and brings a new sound to the drums that Suburban Sunrise fans aren't familiar with. The song's lyrics compare one mans love to the thunder outside during a rain storm and also talks about opening a brand new chapter similar to what the band is doing with this release. The next notable track featured on the EP is "Memories After Sundown." This is probably the most similar track to old SS music on the EP and starts off with only guitar and singing but then goes into more of a straight rock song. The final notable song from the release is the Edgar Allen Poe inspired track "Baltimore Ghosts" which is an odd track in its self. The music behind the vocals is very synth orientated with fun/happy drums but at the same time it keeps a creepy feel to the song. The chorus vocally features a beautiful vocal harmony done by lead vocalist Matt Urie and lead guitarist Dan Richards.
