I wanted to play a game in which you can be a rockstar, so I googled it. Then I found this. I had two girl groups; J'adore & Midnight Rendezvous. I was about to launch a solo artist when the game went down. |

I found a link to it on Orkut and began playing only with The Prisoners. I joined the forums some months after I started playing (on 2007) but only had about 5 posts, it wasn't a good time back there. And then I returned in July of 2008 :) |
I own:

The same thing as troymazing, It was weird, I joined the game march 2008, I completely forgot who I was playing as. My username was Stephaniewazhere, but I can't remember my artists and my band.

I joined v3 via a tip-off from a friend (her band was called Frottage, she didn't play for long), clicked her referral link and remembered that I used to play this years ago. I invented a band called Team Diva, later changed to Moronic Changeling, and then, after beginning my dirty multi-accounting spree by making Emma Blunt and K.I.C.K.A.R.S.E., I joined the board, overcame my shyness and began to roleplay a bit. There were no RP mods when I first joined - but it was a fight in a thread that I started that made Carl elect Birdie and caulfields as the first roleplay mods. I like the fact that it was me, this innocent little noob who'd been around a few weeks at most, doing nothing but posting some single info, who got picked on and ended up in a fight on a big enough scale to wake Carl up and get some mods on board. Slight irony right there Bik ;P Myself, the goodship Birdie - who is sadly missed off this game (as far as I know...) - linked me, as we were good pals preceding the discovery of RSG v3, and he signed up about 4 months after it opened, then linked me to it in Feb 06 if I wanted something to do with my time. I obliged, and here I am, over three years later. I created My Freaky Valentine, got tons of stick from people like Cronix for being the game's first little "emo" shit band, but I grew a bit, ended up signing to Rejected Records (which followed as one of the biggest labels in the best time of V3, proceeding the end of DR/V Records, and preceding Bik's spree on Midnight/Mythic Records a while later!) I was the last one to leave RR actually :( After Emily (Sometimes Zeke) wandered off... Edited by user 19 July 2009 09:35:50(UTC)

I have a long and boring origin story which I will now replace with this fictionalised version: I landed here last night, after my long travels in an interstellar dirigible somewhat like a Hindenburg Zeppelin and created the illusion in all of your minds that I've been here much longer, as a human posting on this forum. This illusion is so powerful, your mind will create phantom posts attributed to me that don't actually exist. But, fortunately for you, my appearance on this forum is merely a harmless front for a much wider operation which need not concern you. |

Carl didn't really trust anyone with running the forum after the whole Vus episode (Vus was the forum admin and an israeli soldier, who attempted to instil his own mini dictatorship and oust carl from the forums).... So it took him a long time to think about mods and admins again. |

Its when the game was at its best and i was younger and less jaded :) |

Wow... Vus... now there's a name from the past..
I joined the site probably around 2002, and was an active forum member for the majority of the time. After the game went down, I jumped ship to Music Maven for a short while, then eventually abandoned both games. Life was hectic..
It was actually my sister who recommended the game to me way back when. Although she never got into the forums, this place became my home away from home when I wasn't out gallavanting and/or causing havoc.
I often get MM and TRSG roleplays confused, as I used the same or similar bands in each (IotE is my first real deviation from what I've been doing). I remember some great characters... Pistol Pete, Cronix, Broken Streetlight Epidemic (AnthemBoy), caulfields, the black guy.. Broken.. something.., Jason Tobias, Dick Christmas, Fellatio Flange and the Felchers... I'm sure there's tons more that my memory just wont recall..
However, only one current board member knows my former identity/identities. |
Instead of the Everyday is:
Mike Hurley (Vocals / Guitar) Kevin DelGaudio (Guitar) Sam "I am" Winters (Bass) Rob Palladio (Drums) Anton Pierce (Keybords) IotE is signed to M/M Records |

Joined made Casting Thin Shadows. Released 2 albums unsigned, signed to Linos There-Is-An-I-In-Team label called Eventual Records, relased 8 albums, wanted to leave to give another label a chance, he got pissed at me, then signed to 3 other labels before it shut down and now I think this is my 2nd year being here now next year making it 3.
