Driving through the Canadian wilderness was awful with the cold wind hitting his face. The only thing getting him through the drive was the expectation of seeing his daughter, and the occasional road head that he got from Nina. As they cross the.border back into the United States, Castor finally starts to get nervous.

OCC: Aw! Thank you!

Detroit loomed in the distance. "You poor thing..." Castor wraps one arm around her, the other hand still on the steering wheel. "There's Detroit... There's my city..." Castor says, smiling a bit.

Castor smiles at Nina and gives out a bit of a laugh. They drive in silence for the next few minutes before they reach Castor's house. "Well... Where we are..." He says, parking the car outside Castor's small childhood home in a suburb of south Detroit. The house looks like a cottage out of a fairytale, except that the lawn gnomes wield knives and machetes, and seem to be at war with menacing looking lawn flamingos at the other side. "Yeah... Mom is an artist..." Castor mentions as he gets out of the car.

Castor laughs. "She'll probably give us one as a wedding present..." He says as he takes her hand. "Are you ready?"

Castor takes a deep breath in and opens the door. "Mom? Virginia?" He calls out.

Suddenly a loud, "DADDY!" echoes through the sound along with the sound of little feet running through the house. A small girl wearing a long red skirt and a Vile Hour band shirt that is much too big on her. She has long blonde, curly hair that is obviously her mother's, but Castor's bright blue-green eyes. "Hi!" She cries out as she rushes to Castor and hugs him around his knee.

Castor holds Virginia and picks her up. "Vee, this is Nina," he says, smiling. Virginia waves at Nina. "Very nice to meet you, Miss. Nina," she says like a little lady.

"They're the best band!" Virginia says back as Castor puts her down.

Castor chuckles. "Where's grandma?" He asks.

Speak of the devil, Angelique Drake appears in the front hall, her arms drapped in gold bangle bracelets, wearing a flowy red dress made from sheer fabric that seems to both flow and cling to her body at the same time. "There's my son!" She exclaims dramatically, floating over to him and taking his face into her hands, kissing both his cheeks. She then turns to Nina. "And you must be Nina. Wonderful to meet you, chéri!" She takes Nina's face into her hands as well, and kisses both cheeks.

"You're part of a band, too, Miss. Nina?" Virginia asks, immidiately enthralled by the stranger in her house.

"Oh, chéri! Thank you!" Angelique says back, throwing her hands up into the air. "They are my life's work! Come, come! Come see the rest of the house!" Angelique takes Nina's hand and practically drags her into the living room, where many of her other artworks live. There's a painting of the wolf devouring Little Red Riding Hood over the fireplace, a small statue of Cinderella in shreads of clothing sitting on a book shelf, and one huge painting of Castor and his five sisters sitting around a fireplace. The picture was taken a couple years ago, as Castor seems to have grown his hair out since then.

Virginia smiles at Nina, showing that she was missing one of her front teeth. "Thank you, Miss. Nina!"

"Oh, thank you!" Angelique says, fluttering about the living room. "I wish I had had more time to clean! The place is a mess!" The house is immaculate. She follows Nina over to the picture of her children and smiles. "Oh, yes. He was a very cute boy," She turns to Castor, who's been hiding in the back of the room since they walked in. "He needs a haircut now, though."

Castor chuckles and shakes his head.

Castor walks over and puts his arm around Nina, kissing the top of her head.

"So, I guess the reason why you're here is to tell me you're getting married," Angelique says simply, sitting down on a large plush couch in the middle of the room.

Virginia's eyes grow wide. "A wedding?!" She asks excitedly.
