Nina smiles at her daughter's spunky personality. She grabs Virginia's and castors hands and leads them to the cab. Nina gives the driver an address nearly right around the corner. The car pulls to a stop in front of a typical post war English home. Brick with a green door. Nina gets out and holds the door for her family to get out. She takes a deep breath. " you ready,love?" She whispers to castor." |

Virginia, being raised by a feminist grandmother, refuses to use the door Castor has opened for her, and opens her own door to get out.

Nina smiles at Virginia's action. " oh,how I love that little girl." Nina slowly makes her way to the front door and presses the door bell. " penny lane" played on some out of tune bells is heard and seconds later a not unkind looking woman answers the door. She looks like a female John Lennon. " Gladys!!" She exclaims. " you should have told me you were coming. "
She looks At castor and frowns slightly. She whispers something in Nina's ear.
Nina looks appalled." Mother! He is a man!"
Miss sangria chuckles. " whew, I was about to say,love. She is terribly butch. Come in,come in." She opens the door to allow the drakes in |

Castor takes Virginia's hand and leads her into the house behind Nina and Miss. Sangria. "I'm Castor, ma'am. Very nice to meet you," He says, holding out his other hand to Nina's mother.

Nina's mother looks very impressed with castor and his manners. " ever so pleased to meet you,castor. I'm Jane. You're so much more polite than the people nina usually brings." She looks down at Virginia. " and who is this lovely creature?"
