Nina cuts her mother off. " ok.we all know that story,loves!"

Jane looks like she wants to die. " uh...more coffee,love?" She clearly feels very bad.

Nina stoops down and holds Virginia's hand. " well,love. I ....well, you see...I was an actress in terrible films that no one should ever act in."

Nina laughs so hard she almost falls over. " exactly,love." nina closes her eyes,Praying to gorogk the god of little girls not asking for details.

Miss sangria pokes her head around the corner an motions for castor to come to her.

nina smiles at her daughter. "you're telling me,cutie.what is a lovely child like you,doing watching battlefield earth?"


in the living room jane sighs and looks to castor." such a polite man you are,love. i know you must've heard some horror stories about me,and they are all true.i was so disappointed in nina when i found out about her films....and i didnt take her being a lesbian too well either...i know being here is terribly uncomfortable for all you and nina is itching to leave.i just wanted you to know,nina will be a great mother to your daughter. from my example,and her own experience,she knows exactly what not to do." jane laughs a little. "i've never seen her smile the way she does when she is around you.you've raised a wonderful daughter,you clearly love the hell out of nina...i'll be proud to call you my son in law."

jane smiles at castor. "you're are so welcome. i should be thanking you,love. you saw that erica girl on telly,she's such a bad influence." jane hugs castor. "lets get back out there,nina may have escaped,love!"


"your grandma is so lovely." nina smiles. "so what do you think of england?"

"oh,you are too sweet,little one!" nina touches virginia's hair.


nina looks puzzled at castor. "um....yeah,i guess,love." she looks to her mother,who just smiles in return.

jane makes more coffee. "coffee for the road,loves?" jane isnt pushing them out,but she knows nina will be too polite to take her own leave.

jane pours 3 cups of coffee,one being much smaller for virgina."how do you take your coffee,love?" jane asks the little girl.

nina slowly walks over to her mother and gives her a hug.she has no idea what transpired between her mother and castor,but it must have been good. "oh mom,i think we can stay a bit longer. i'm sure you have many embarrassed stories of my childhood to tell castor and virginia."

"oh,like the time you peed on the swafford's dog?" jane laughs.

jane makes virgina's coffee mostly cream and sugar.she hands her the cup and smiles. "this should be good,love."

nina tugs castor playfully,"we dont really have time,love!"

jane laughs at her daughter."oh come now,nina. you know they want to hear about you peeing on the dog." jane closes her eyes and smiles,then opens them again. "oh,nina must have been about 4...5? we were still down in whitechapel at the time. she was sitting on the steps,minding her own. just playing tea party with her dolls,happy as a clam. the swaffords had this bloody huge mastiff. the dog comes over and just hoses nina and her dolls down.i mean just bloody drenched she was!" jane laughs long and hard over this. "nina was very cross and waited until the dog was knackered,then snuck over and squatted on his head!" jane is laughing so hard she has tears coming from her eyes.


nina starts giggling."i cant believe you just told my daughter i pi...peed on a dog!"

jane wipes a tear away. "oh,i know she is a big bad punk rocker now,but she was such a little princess when she was little. what was that doll's name....lady franklebottom?"

nina giggles."you know it was,mother.she looked like a frinklebottom." nina shrugs.

jane continues." nina and lady finklebottom were near unseperable,loves. she slept with that thing for YEARS. by the time she was too grown up for dolls,lady finklebottom looked like a bloody steamroller got to her!"
