Chaos Awards VII Well hello and good afternoon! This has kind of been thrust on me this afternoon, what with the boss deciding he was going to head off to Scotland for a while. Hopefully he's back soon. Some of us will have families to look after at some point in the very near future. Anyway, that matters little at the moment; allow me, Neil P Stinson, CEO of Chaos Records to welcome you along to the announcement of the Chaos Awards VII. That's right, the biggest awards show in the world is now reaching its SEVENTH iteration. Amazing or what? I remember when I was merely a host for this show at its first ever event. I am amazingly proud of how the show and I have grown together over the past years, and as such these shows are something special to me. I know it's the same for the fans and artists as well; we all love and treasure the Chaos Awards. We would like to extend our thanks from everyone at Chaos HQ to everyone who continues to make these nights a success. Without your support, love and help, these shows would be nothing. Anyway, enough of the gushing pleasantries. I think we can all agree on the fact the Chaos Awards VI was the best show we've ever put together. So without any further ado, let's start the journey to making this one even better. From everyone at Chaos Records, and me, Neil P Stinson, welcome to the CHAOS AWARDS VIIThe Date and VenueIf you cast your thoughts back to the last Chaos Awards, you will remember that we took the risk of breaking from two longstanding traditions of this event. The first of those was to do with the date. Previously, the first five Chaos Awards had been hosted on Sunday nights, following on from the age old tradition started by the legendary IMAs (Birdies). Looking to set our own tradition though, Scott and I decided it pertinent to stand out, and as such, we moved the show from its traditional slot to a Saturday evening. The response was brilliant, and the new slot brought us our biggest viewership and highest ratings ever. I don't know about you guys, but to me, that seems like a success, right? So why change something that's working? This event will be the second ever Chaos show to take place on a Saturday night, slotting perfectly into the new tradition. So get your Sharpies out and mark your calendars. The seventh Chaos Awards will be taking place onSaturday December 15th 2012 If you cast your memories as far back as June (and I'm sure some of you had a few too many sherbets to remember the show), the theme we went for was bigger and better. We wanted to move the event away from the sort of provincial British affair that it was, and bring Chaos into the massive pomp and circumstance of Hollywood. We wanted to say "Boom! Here we are. And we certainly managed to do that, with an event that was so full of glitz and glamour that even the Oscars shirked into the corner with fear. Why would we possibly want to do away with that after the night we had the last time? Answer: We wouldn't. For that reason, allow me to introduce you to the awards venue for the Chaos Awards VII, it's The Kodak Theater, Hollywood, California The HostsWhile Scott and I were in agreement that we could easily make the awards show bigger and better this time than any of the othr five Chaos Awards shows, there was still one aspect of this show/night that we were worried about living up to; the hosts. Do you remember who we had last time? Only freakin' Katie Coyle and Nadia Berry. I think we're all in agreement that those were the most successful and entertaining hosts we have managed to snare at any point in the history of the show. Unfortunately, both are unavailable to retake their places on the stage this time around (not to mention the fact that they had quite an argument since the awards took place), so we needed to book new hosts. For the first time ever at the Chaos Awards VII, the show will be hosted by a number of different people, with the plan being that the show will be hot, dynamic, exciting and fast paced, never giving you the chance to rest on your laurels. I can't reveal all of the hosts at this time, but why don't I let you know the first two at least? Yeah, why not? Best Label You have until Sunday evening my time to plug. I will be busy for the largest part of the weekend, so it makes for good timing. Make sure to follow the rules or you will have your plug deleted. Many thanks and please only plug YOUR OWN acts. I will not be plugging this time around, because I think that voting can often be biased towards the person hosting the show. Anyway, get going :)
Plugs will be in this format ONLY:

No pictures, no links, no descriptive reasons please. Anyone who does not adhere to these will have their plugs deleted. Thank you. Edited by user 01 February 2013 07:26:02(UTC)
