Yeah, posting a thread about soul food on a predominantly British forum is kind of silly, seeing as it's pretty much a total United States thing.

Tell me about it. Think I am going to head down to the Asian District and get some Pho noodle soup at one of the Vietnamese restaurants. I'm too lazy to cook my own Pansit. Of course I could always make Karenna cook it for me.

Can't ever argue with a good bowl of Pho.

I really dig Jambalaya, not sure if it counts as soul food or not, but has to be pretty close. Mmm, tasty.
