We all know that Chanel was the beauty in R&B music last year when she released hits like ' Basket of Roses', ' All I Ever Wanted' and her recent one, ' Dance to Love' everyone enjoyed her pure powerful voice that you felt emotion and soul in every one of her songs. Chanel's signature ballad style music inspired by Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey was the style that put her on the map as the voice of R&B. Her chilling and demanding vocals for love, seduction and affection showed in most of her flawless performances and resulted into her well written music. Back in 2011, she released her debut album 'Born Into Music' that barely sold over 50,000 copies was not the presentation that Chanel wanted to present to her fans. It was rushed, but it was something she invested time and money into since 2008. Chanel mom inspired her to sing, also her family that was associated with music growing up. Chanel's grandfather and her father both owned jazz clubs and also sing in a soul band that got Chanel started at the age of 17 in a front line band touring around with her father while her mother taught her the vocal tricks to master such an great voice like Chanel has developed in the recent years. Outside the talented vocalist, lies the humble sweet girl who had an dream of becoming an R&B icon, something soul wanted to deliver and R&B wanted to give. Knowing how R&B has fallen in the past years, Chanel wanted to come back and make music that all races, genders and people can relate too, without her having to become something she is not. She wanted to keep that sound of music that R&B had back in the 80's, 90's and make it modern today and make it even more fresh and unique, creative like soul music was. She wants to finally portray something that people have forgotten.... music.

' Hide & Seek' was produced by Chanel's new producer, X-Rocka and also co-written the song with Chanel. It has the hip but very seductive bass that Rocka did so brilliantly when she slowed down the pace of the song so the bass can't over power Chanel's vocals on the track. The song is yet slow, an slow jam that everyone can cuddle or make love too, but the bass and down-tempo sythns of pianos and voilions, that makes the track easy to listen too, and more easily to just fall in love with the track and vibe to it. The melody is just as addictive as in the verses Chanel sings in a low sexy register, but then you hear the silent, but yet forceful power laying in her chest voice, she builds up so intensity when the fast pianos is sythning though the bass with the melody speeding up during the pre-chorus but it has an intermission before hitting the chorus, (like in the beginning of the sound like) before Chanel then releases the resonance and sharp trippy notes that goes in her chest range, but in the middle of the chorus hitting it deeply into her head voice. Her more deeper register is explored at the end when the background vocals then joins in, blending in with her deep register creating the bass tone in her power head voice that then settles in the second verse, during the second intermission, the background vocals do something special with Chanel adding sweet and long riffs and runs, getting more deeply involved vocally in the song to her over powering the background vocals doing the pre-chorus, and then relaxing yourself to the background vocal during the chorus all belting out the chorus and Chanel adding an quick riff before going into the bridge, the bridge is the best part. The intermission beat spins out of the control as it goes slower to Chanel's slow vocals as you hear the rasp and nasal in her voice, creating an perfect echo sound to her voice, singing in her higher and more comfortable registers. She speeds the melody up going into a last and more epic chrous with the background vocals turnt up and Chanel vocals turned down, you can still hear the mix track and mastered when you hear Chanel's riff that takes off really deep and goes higher and higher to her taking it to a long and breathless run, when the background vocals fade out, you still hear Chanel running thought all the vocal runs that ends in a short and soulful relaxed toned sharp note.
