 TITLE: Santa Never Called Me Back

LENGTH: 1:54Nichole's voice is the first thing you hear, first singing a ccapella, and then with the piano around the third line, the piano playing one chord over and over again, very softly. Her voice is deep and almost threatening as she sings.You're getting on my nerves this time
You're good at causing hopes to fall
The last time I stood under the mistletoe
I didn't like what I sawHer voice goes up an octive as she continues to sing, the piano staying on the same rhythm it has been at. Nichole's voice comes off as happier, or at least less threatening.I have an active imagination
And a lack of communication
And an active imagination for youNichole's voice comes deeper, but there's a feeling of growing tension as she sings...Can't get a reply

Santa, why won't you call me back?The song takes on a 'big band' feel to it, as the piano comes in full blast, and trumpets join in, playing loudly as Nichole screams the lyrics over their sound.I give myself to you

It's you that I've been missin'The piano goes back to it's single note chant when Nichole sings the last line of the chorus:I can be your Dancer, your Prancer, your VixenThe trumpets come back in for a moment as Nichole speaks over the music:Look, I'm not implying that Santa sleeps around... I'm just saying that Santa could have whoever he wanted... Nichole's voice takes on the feel of growing tension again as she sings...You know I look good in red

Hayden: I'm gonna refrain from making any sexual puns with this song so I can save everyone the embarrassment. I have to admit though, Santa's never been much of a return phone calls kind of guy, I mean he only comes when you're sleeping and he uses the chimney. Those should've been red flags right there! |
