"Shit!" Sam says, and runs over to the stove, waving the smoke away. "How the hell did you manage to do that?" he says, trying not to laugh.

Sam can't hold it in anymore and starts laughing. He laughs so hard he begins coughing, and grabs the box of tissues. "I'm sorry, but..." he starts, but can't finish because he's doubled over.

OOC: Manxes (manxs? manx? What is the plural?) are my second favorite, not even lying. I love them. And I used to have a Hymalain. She was a bitch, but I loved her.

Nichole sighs. She knows that it's a funny situation, but she can't help but be upset. "I'm going to be the worst mother in the world..." She says quietly.

Ada smiles. "Ooh! Look! There is a pet shelter!" she says, pointing to a building in the distance that looks like a smaller prison.

The man behind the counter was obviously not interested in actually helping them find the perfect cat. "Well... we have one cat that's been here for a while..." He says as he goes back into the back and comes out with a cat.



Ada gasps and squeals. "It is so fat! I... I need it!"

having no experiance with cat purchases. erich nods at the cat and rubs his chin, "i'd like to kick the tires,but i see it has none. i hope you dont expect full price for a cat without tires." seeing ada light up erich grins and pets the cat."we'll take it! but i will tell my friends you sell cats without tires." erich narrows his eyes at the man.

"No, it's okay. I'm sorry for laughing," he says, holding her to him. "You're going to be the best mom ever. I promise."

Nichole smiles. "Maybe I'll get some practice from the cat Ada and Erich are bringing back."

erich looks offended." sir,we are not street urchins.we dont want your handout cat.oh,we are taking him,but i insist you take the money. buy some food for the other cats who arent as fat as adorable as this one....poor buggers." erich pets the cat and kisses ada. "we're parents...sorta!"

Sam smiles. "I always wanted a cat. My mom's allergic to them, though..." he laughs nervously, "Er...I suppose I should think about moving out of my mom's basement, huh?"

Nichole smiles. "I don't really want to live in your mother's basement with you, sweetie... We could live in my apartment in Detroit... Or I'm sure we could live on the Duke. I mean, we all practically live there already anyway..."

Ada shakes her head. "We do not need a carrier... I will carry him back to the bus." She smiles, petting Dietrich.
