Karoliena hesitates before lightly touching Nichole's hand. "I can imagine.id be scared shitless. But....but...I think you know what's right to do. One or two cups of coffee can't be too bad."

karoliena nods. "sure,nichole.whatever you say does not leave this room...er,bus."

karoliena is silent for awhile. the usually perky nichole being unusure of herself throws karoliena. karoliena holds nichole's hand again,this time,firmly. "you'll just have to rely on people more than usual for these 9 months. dont be afraid to ask people to do even the smallest thing for you...maybe not sam,as i'm sure he is a little overwhelmed by all this too.if you ask too many favors of him,it may wear on his nerves. but me? rob? hell,erich and ada...all of us would be more than happy to take care of you." karoliena looks at nichole. "did castor stop sleeping,eating or playing music after his daughter was born? nichole,you will do just fine. i think you'll be a fantastic mother." karoliena smiles at nichole. " i know you'll be able to do it."

"you're welcome,nicole. you'd be inhuman if you werent nervous" karoliena says gently. she squeezes nichole's hand again. "no smoking! do i need to call erica here? she'll buy all the smokes in a 10 mile radius and toss them in the river....you know she will." karoliena laughs.

Sam walks into the kitchen area groggily, and sits down next to Nichole. "Morn...afternoon, ladies," he says, smiling.

Sam smiles and pecks her back. "How are you this fine day?" he says.

"Yeah, a little. And why no sushi?" he says, pouring himself a cup of coffee.

"Aww.." he says, putting his arm around her. "After Layne/Kaya is born we can eat sushi till we puke."

"aw your poor thing...even though i hate sushi." karoliena makes a face.
