Rory walked downstairs into Veronica's lounge just wearing a robe after taking a shower. He had spent the last few days in America with Veronica for New Years and they had been enjoying it a lot. He was feeling a lot better having had a hangover the day before and feeling ill. He sat down on the sofa and put the TV on.

I guess it didn't help that I was also very drunk at the time." he laughs. "Still... It was a good few nights. You owe me next time though, it isn't cheap constantly coming to New York.
