Roxy wonders why Chris was looking at the table, there would be no reason, unless he was listening, but why .... suddenly, she remembers a vague image of Tracy sitting between Alex and Chris at Taylor's party, and Chris and Tracy going off together. That's when the whole Brisky bitching about Chris started. Could it be .... ?
Roxy : Chris, mind if I have a few words with you? In private?
She takes him outside, not knowing that Kaethe is out there too.

Roxy : You can't back out of this now.
Chris : What?
Roxy : You know what - well, who - I mean. It's too late.
Chris : I didn't mean to ....
Roxy : I know you didn't mean to. But this baby is your responsibility too.
Chris : But what about Taylor, what about Brisky? What are they going to think? This is SO hard to swallow.
Roxy : Taylor is sure to forgive you, he's a nice guy. Brisky - I don't know. But no matter what, this is your baby.
Brisky walks out behind them, and kicks Roxy in the stomach.

Chris goes to pick Roxy up.

All the time, you were bitching about Raven and Gemma and Mikki and Stephanie, saying that Chris had been cheating on you with them, when he hadn't. And now, Roxy, who is innocent, you try to kill her baby.
Roxy : I'm not hurt, I'll just have a bruise there tomorrow. And I'm not pregnant and never was. Matt, rest safe in that knowledge!
Kaethe : But what if you were? What if you were Tracy Asbridge, and you had to go to hospital? What has an unborn child ever done to you, K.Briskett? You disgust me.

They all stay silent, bar the voice in Chris's head.
Rachel : Get rid of her, Chris. She treated you as badly as I did. You need to stop dating the wrong ones. And you may have done something wrong, VERY wrong, in making this baby, but as Roxy said - it's your baby. You can't leave Tracy on her own in this.
A black Porsche 911 drives up outside TDB and stops. The driver puts their window down.
Driver : MORONIC CHANGELING!
Kaethe and Chris walk up to the car and pick up a piece of paper from the driver's hand, before the car drives away.
Kaethe : So, in that you didn't walk up to the car with Chris and me, I can safely assume that you're leaving the band? If not, I'd fire you anyway.
Brisky : Yes. And I'm leaving Chris. Good luck with your bands, and with your baby. Don't expect me to be involved.
Kaethe walks back into TDB, reading the piece of paper as she walks - and, despite the fact that this is not a funny moment, Kaethe's lack of multitasking ability makes her walk into the wall. She starts shouting all the German and Dutch swearwords she knows. Roxy can't help but laugh.
When Kaethe's made her way in, Roxy, holding on to Matt, follows. Chris doesn't look back as he walks into TDB, and Brisky walks away into the ominous thunderstorm.

In TDB, Chris sits with Matt and Roxy, and looks Taylor in the eye. Mikki, who has also worked it out, holds on to Chris's arm for support. Still a few loose ends to tie up.
One girl down, one world left to go ....

After an argument with Kamikaze, Zombie takes off her jacket, throws it at Nick, and leaves TDB in her bra.
Kamikaze : There are now nine of us. Dark. Are we more important than fAthOm?
Dark : Yes, Kamikaze, and I will consider rejoining.
Kamikaze : Correct answer, Dark.
Mayhem : We have not talked on fledglings of MADNESS.
Blitz : That is a good point. Tess Bottom for one, and the Morikawa girl shows promise.
Cattie : Raven ....
Madonna : No. Very talented, but dodgy, I think she'd leave after a minute. Su Fierce Spears? The Firecracker family?
Kamikaze : Tess, Miyuki, Suzana, Roxana Katraba - fine choices. But only Roxy of the Firecrackers. Molly is too new. Joshua Ginger is too - Joshy.
Nick : But do we wanna fledglin' when we got Kitten right yer?
Kamikaze : We must consider all possibilities, Nick. I would choose Dark over Kitten, and .... Madonna. A veteran if there ever was one.
Nick : No 'fence, Madonna, but Kitten be screamo, more suitabawl, I fink. Plus we on'y need free members wiv 'errr.
Kamikaze : Madonna has an excellent vocal range, and again, all possibilities.
Fate : Including me?
Kamikaze : We shall work it out, Fate, and give you a chance.
Fate : So, Tess Bottom, Miyuki Morikawa, Suzana Spears, and Roxana Katraba Firecracker are our potential fledglings. But we get a better chance?
Kamikaze : This could go any way. Dark, Fate, Kitten, Madonna, you will try out, so that makes eight. Blitz, Cattie, you will witness with Mayhem, Nick and me?
Blitz/Cattie : Yes, Kamikaze.
Kitten : I'll call the fledglings, I've got everyone's number.
Kamikaze : Thankyou, Kitten. I declare this meeting closed. LG3, tomorrow morning. Shall we stay for some drinks?
Cattie : Dark and I have got to get back to Skye.
Kitten : Ditto, I gotta get back to Matt. See y'all tomorrow.
Kamikaze : Cattie, Dark, Kitten - I bid ye farewell until tomorrow. Rest of us - hoods down, meeting's over.
Cattie/Dark/Kitten : Goodbye, Kamikaze.
Cattie and Dark leave hand in hand, followed by Kitten. Blitz, Fate, Kamikaze, Madonna, Mayhem and Nick take their hoods down, in unison, to see if there's anyone about.
