"Well I hope I've kept you nice and worry free...I have, haven't I?" he says.

"I'm sure that's bad.." he says, patting his stomach. "I'm gonna get all flabby now that I'm not on tour screaming my guts out every night."

"You're an expert at that," he says, smiling and kissing her. "I love you so much.."

"How did you get so lucky? How did I get so lucky? If this was high school, I would've never even thought of talking to you. I would've just...leered at you weirdly from my lunch table" he says, laughing. "Er...was that as creepy as it sounded?"

Sam wakes up on the couch next to Nichole. "Mmm...shit.." he mumbles, looking at his watch. "Shit.." he says and gets up. "Nichole...we need to go pick up my mom from the airport" he says.

ooc: shit sorry. film project is due next week and i've kinda been doing jack shit about it. i'll probably be gone most of tomorrow and friday too :S ....oh, yeah, WOOSH!

Sam nods off sleepily in the airport lobby, waiting for his mom to show up. "She's like..." he checks his watch, "3 hours late. I hope nothing happened to the flight.." he says, a little worried.

Sam looks up at the terminal screens. "Yeah, it says her flight is delayed. Shit...do you wanna go back to the apartment, or..?"

Sam walks into the door, his mother, Rose, following behind him. She's a fifty-something woman with bright red hair and a perpetual smile stuck on her face. "Oh, my! Isn't this nice? It's good to see my Sammy boy has finally left the basement!" he says, and Sam winces with embarassment. "You should've seen him, dear," he says, turning to Nichole. "When he graduated high school I told him he needed to think about moving out and he just about burst into tears!" Sam puts his arm on his mom's shoulder and laughs nervously. "I think that's enough about me, mom," he says, and Rose just smiles. "I'm embarrassing him. Sorry Sammy," she says, and kisses him on the cheek.

Rose smiles. "It's beee-autiful, dear! I don't even know why I stay in that big old house of ours! Ever since Sammy left to go on tour and whatnot it's been awful empty. I think I should get an apartment like this.." she says, sitting on the couch. "So quaint...but enough about me, dear! Tell me about you! Come sit down," she says, patting the spot beside her. "Sam - be a gentleman and get the ladies something to drink will you?" she says, and Sam nods and heads into the kitchen, laughing.

Rose laughs. "No, no, I'm afraid I slept most of the time, actually. We sat on that runway for four hours waiting to see if we'd even be able to take off. I'm pretty tuckered out.." he says, and Sam returns with Canada Dry for both of them and a diet coke for himself. "Thanks Sammy boy," she says as he hands her a glass. "My Sam told me he's quite fond of you. I can see why - you're stunning!" she says, smiling all the while. "I believe I've met your bandmate, Castor? He was quite a gentleman. It's refreshing to meet such a nice boy after meeting all the other people Sam hangs around. Especially that Erich fellow...I wake up at four in the morning because I hear a ruckus downstairs and it turns out that Sam's brought a whole busload of people home without even telling me! And that Erich guy is sitting in a pile of powdered donuts playing nintendo! I almost had myself a heart attack!"
