Serenity Scott is ready to take on and challenge the new year with her new material. It has been confirmed that she'll be re-releasing her debut album 'Teenage Era' yesterday on her official Twitter page. Although the date is unconfirmed, it is believed and rumored by many that both her and her label 'Five Pesky Kids Records' have a planned release date for the re-release sometime in February. Aside from that, it is also rumored by many people that she's currently in the process of recording her second studio album. Sources close to the new 'it' girl have claimed that the popstar has high hopes of finishing the album in time for a mid-summer release. Serenity has yet to confirm this but only time will tell if the speculating rumors are true.

Last year has been quite a bumpy ride for the singer after having a commercially unsuccessful album; having sold no more than 330,000 copies as of December 2012. Despite the poor album sales, Serenity still managed to have higher single sales from the album with all of the singles taken off of the album reaching the Gold and Platinum statuses respectively. And aside from that, we won't even get into the amount of controversy the singer has been involved in last year, because we are positively sure that everyone has heard about it all. The good news for Miss Scott however is that as time progress, we only see Serenity taking her music to much higher levels. Her last single 'Marilyn Monroe' has been certified 2x platinum after surpassing the 1,000,000 digital sales units and over 1,000,000 video copies sold respectively. Aside from the sales, her reputation has also been sailing over into positive waters as well.

Do you think the repackaging of Serenity's debut album will serve justice to the album's overall impact? Do you like Serenity's new style? Let us know!

Scott: Re-releasing an album is beyond awful in my opinion. It's like raping the fans for that extra few dollars by putting a new cover on the same thing. However, I do still think this girl has the talent to be huge if and when she releases new music. I really do.

Erich: Iove miss scott,I really do. But I have to agree with ..scott on this. Rereleases of still in print albums,or remix albums aren't cool.

Ooc: it pained me to give her up,but she is in a better place now.

Serenity: Aww, thank you Jennifer! :) Becoming a force in the industry means that I'll have a few competitors that I'll have to eliminate like yourself ;) Just kidding lol. Thanks again!

Serenity: To be honest with you Scott, I'm not a fan of re-releases that much either. I only support it on various occasions. Like if you feel like your album is missing something and you want to tuck in that final puzzle piece, that's when I support a re-release. Other than that, I don't. I just want to give my fans the 'complete' or the 'final' package of the album.

Serenity: Thank you Erich, but as I stated to Scott, I want to add something to the album and give my fans what they deserve; and that's the complete package. I actually spent the last few months working on this project and I'm really pleased with the end product of it. Thank you though :)

OOC: Aw, thanks. That's sweet xx

Nevaeh: I've always like you Serenity! So best of luck in all of your endeavors. Personally I don't think releasing the album makes too much since, especially if it was a massive letdown the first day. I think you should offer something totally fresh and new. But I still believe it might have a shot eh? :) Best of luck again!
