Corey Taylor (Stone Sour/Slipknot) - Vocals/Acoustic Guitar
Kirk Hammet (Metallica) - Guitar
Rusty Cooley (Outworld) - Guitar
Fieldy (KoRn) - Bass
Janne "Burton" Puurtinen (H.I.M.) - Keyboards

It'd be a Prog-metal type band with lots of Mathmetal rhythms.

Vocals: Zach de la Rocha (Rage Against the Machine, One Day As A Lion)
Lead Guitar: Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine, Street Sweeper Social Club, solo, Audioslave)
Lead Guitar: John Petrucci (Dream Theater)
Rhythm Guitar: Chris Cornell (Soundgarden, Audioslave, solo)
Rhythm Guitar: Tim McIlrath (Rise Against)
Bass Guitar: John Myung (Dream Theater)
Bass Guitar: Tom Commerford (Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave)
Drums: Lars Ulrich (Metallica)

I know my dream band has six guitarists but it was hard to pick just two or three.

It would be progressive metal (Dream Theater) meets rap metal/rap rock (Rage Against the Machine, Street Sweeper Social Club, One Day As A Lion) meets melodic hardcore (Rise Against) meets grunge (Soundgarden) meets Post-Grunge (Audioslave) meets Heavy Metal (Metallica).

Wow! That is one fucked up lineup. You got indie rock, punk rock, rock n' roll, and grunge mashed up.

Its either that or:

Mick Jones: Vocals
Chris Barker: Bass
Justin Sane: Rhythm Guitar; Backup Vocals
Kurt Cobain: Lead Guitar; Vocals
Liam Howlett: Keyboards; Programming
Buddy Rich: Drums

I know Kurt Cobain and Justin Sane arent very good guitarests, but i like their voices so basically my dream band has three singers in it :P

I kind of see what you are getting at, but a supergroup doesn't have to sound like the previous bands. Think of one of the original supergroups, Cream. Certainly sound nothing like Eric Clapton had done before hand. I know bugger all about Jack Bruce & Ginger Baker before they joined the band though. But still.

I think they have a place if they aren't just doing the same as the main bands really.

I mean honestly I think the Down lineup has as good as I could ask for.

Phil Anselmo, Pepper Keenan, Kirk Windstein, Rex Brown & Jimmy Bower. It's a stellar lineup. Maybe the only way to improve it would be add Dax Riggs instead of Phil Anselmo, but I do love Phil's vocals as well.

*cofs*

I don't know, I have many favorite singers from different styles that I can't choose just one for a dream band.
So I stick with Sav's post.
I own:

Andrew Guinnard (Post-punk/acoustic)
Lucy Tankeray (Pop diva/weird)
