Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Registered Joined: 12/04/2010(UTC) Posts: 4,147 Location: Brazil Thanks: 2880 times Was thanked: 3513 time(s) in 1683 post(s)		Best Friend Song Description Just like ‘Till We Die’ (another song from Bittersweet), this song is up flirting and very easy to relate and listen to. it starts out with a piano introduction mixed with electronic bass, it looks like an introduction to a anthem, something that is about to go hardcore, but in a very soft and fun way. As the first verse of the song is sung by Lilly, another electronic effect is added to the song melody increasing the excitement mood the song was creating. But the song only shows her intentions when the first chorus starts. At the chorus a fast house beat drum sequence is added to the song, and it turns out into an upbeat dance floor tune. The Chorus is sung by Magie incredible powerful and high vocals, she reaches an incredible vocal range with this song, something we haven’t seen her doing yet. The second verse keeps the drums but the piano introduction comes back with a few changes to make the song faster than it started, but it is still slower than the chorus. Lilly once again sings this verse too. The second chorus starts again and the same structure seeing before is played again. By the end of the second chorus, the song enters in a break dance point where together the girls sing a repeated phrase till it culminates to a slow down moment where the first melody structured presented by the song in the beginning of it, takes over and the girls repeat again a phrase as that slow part goes growing to become the final chorus of the song. The song meaning is very soft and joyful, it talks about friendship and being there for your friends no matter the situation, sometimes even thanking God for having this person as a friend. Magie Comments In so many years of this band we achieved so many things, so many great moments will remain in our memories and our friendship won't ever die, even if we'll be far away from each other. I feel like this is the feeling when we accomplish the mission and I'm feeling it, it's a mix of love and peace, you will miss it, but you feel complete. I really wanna thank the fans, because without them ElectroDeath would not exist, you guys are the reason of everything we did, if we got the success, it was because of you and there's just no way we'll ever pay you for giving us the opportunity to shine, so forever we'll love you. Lilly and Julia, my dearest, you're my family, the smiles we shared, the tears we shared, only you knew what I've gone through in those dark moments, when I thought the sun would never shine for me again you were there to open the window, I'll never forget you, I'll always respect you and I'll always love you. This special release is for the fans, for people who believed in us, for people who hated us, for people who don't know us, you can take it and make it yours. See you in another Chapter. Leave a comment if you liked it and if you'll miss ElectroDeath or if you won't miss them. ElectroDeath very last collection album will out in February celebrating the whole journey of the band! Set List 1- Medley: When Your Heart’s Not Open and White Robe 2- Best Friend After the announcement of ElectroDeath’s very last performance, the whole arena goes dark and audience at home could only hear the screams of the crowd. Suddenly a fog is lighted up in the stage by blue lights, and a much known ambient sound begins to play, it belongs to the hit single ‘When Your Heart’s not Open’. Seconds after the introduction melodies, Magie comes lifted from the roof of the arena wearing a long white dress with an ear microphone singing the first lines of the song as she goes reaching the floor of the stage. Can you give up from all your lust? Can you forgive when you’re hurt? You’re broken When your heart’s not open How can you live with so much regret? How can you love when you’re already dead? You’re Fallen When your heart’s not open Lights are dim, they goes from blue to green and among all the fog there’s a thin dust of silver glitter. Magie reaches the floor, but before she starts the chorus of the song she’s join on stage by Lilly who’s obviously pregnant wearing the same white dress, but she come from a platform in the corner of the stage which works like an elevator, so the same time Magie is being lifted down, Lilly comes from this elevator. When they meet each other at the stage they look to each other’s eyes and they give their hands and they come closer the edge of the stage to sing the song’s chorus. Ow, Look inside your heart Ow, Find your missing part Ow, When you see the light Ow, You’ll reach the sky… Soon as the word ‘Sky’ is sung by Lilly and Magie, the stage goes dark again, and right after it is lighten up with Julia rising from the floor, but she’s not wearing a white dress, she’s wearing a white robe and with handcuffs on her hands she comes walking in the middle of the stage till she reaches the edge of it, she’s singing the first single of ElectroDeath, the song ‘White Robe’ which also is being played with the original arrangements of it, but it seems that Julia is only singing the chorus of the song, she’s also alone at the stage Lilly and Maggie disappeared. Put the handcuffs Say I’m guilty Lock me up In this cage Destroy my life Deny salvation But you can’t steal My innocence As she reached the edge of the stage a cage falls down the stage, Julia is trapped inside of it, it does scares some people at the crowd, because of the impact the big cage did when it knocks at the floor. Julia keeps there trapped while all lights of the stage are bright and the fog disappears. The melodies of songs changed to a more upbeat electronic tune, and if you’re a fan of ElectroDeath you’ll recognize the song ‘Best Friend’ from their last album. Magie and Lilly come walking to get Julia out of the cage, they’re now wearing military suits, which consists of just a jacket with underwear, leaving their legs exposed, Lilly is with her bally exposed too, which makes her smile even more now that she’s showing her pregnancy. While Magie and Lilly sing the song first strophe Julia is undressing inside the cage, she took off the white robe revealing the same military uniform Magie and Lilly are wearing. The girls get near the cage’s door, and they free Julia, who comes out smiling, they hug each other to perform the chorus of the song, and right in this time the cage is lifted up and ten male military dancers come to join the girls on stage. Yesterday I was feeling down But that was just a moment Talking with you made me turn around Fill my heart with excitement You know you’re my best friend You understand my thoughts When I’m with you I don’t need to pretend ‘Cause our friendship is strong They seem to be having so much fun in the stage, the dancers are performing a very elaborated choreography, but the girls are just singing the song with hands in hand, and when the chorus ends Julia sings all by herself the second strophe of the song, so the girls starts to walk side to side from the stage while behind them a big white blanket shows various scenes of ElectroDetah’s story, such as music videos, stage performances, interviews, funny moments from the girls all this is showed in that big blanket. So thank you buddy for being here Without you I just can’t go So thank you buddy for being here You know I love you so Funny moments And Sad times I shared with you You’re part of my life You help me to get through And I’ll fight against the entire world, If it had to save you Because you know all the words And I know your love for me is true The second chorus starts and together again the girls give their hands to perform it, they’re all smiling to the crowd which are cheering at them loudly, they also look a bit emotional because that is the last performance they’ll be doing together. In the end of the second chorus the words ‘My Friend’ is repeated 15 times, and while the girls sing it they look and point to each other, Magie and Julia even point to Lilly’s belly. Till the song reach it’s slow down break moment where all lights are dim again and only the girls and that big white blanket is lighted up. So thank you buddy for being here Without you I just can’t go So thank you buddy for being here You know I love you so My friend (15X) And I need thank God for giving me you And by your side I don’t loose In this slow moment silver paper falls from the sky, the image of the girls together behind them at the blanket is stopped, the girls are side by side, there are no dancers left in the stage. You’re my best friend (7x) My friend (10x) When the song rises again to its final chorus the white blanket behind the girls is torn apart by fifty fans wearing white shirts with the word ‘ElectroDeath’ in green Neon written on it shine over the whole arena and together they join the girls singing the last chorus of the song. So thank you buddy for being here Without you I just can’t go So thank you buddy for being here You know I love you so The performance ends with balloons and paper and glitter taking over the stage, the girls are waving to the crowd and the fans on stage are clapping as they hug each other again and the word Goodbye is projected in the back of the stage, several artists and singers are standing to clap the last performance of one of the most successful girl bands of all time.
