"I'm feeling good. Tired, like usual..." he says, then gets up to grab a coke. "...So I guess me getting you pregnant kind of ruined any plans Vile Hour had for touring in support of Common Technicalities, huh?" he says.

"Yeah.." Sam says, sitting down, then smiles. "Virginia is so damn cute!" he says, instantly losing half of his metal cred. "..er, I mean, she's cute in a...you know, brutal way."

Sam smiles. "We can only pray they won't be a ginger...I want my kid to have a soul, dammit!"

"I love them too," he says, and kisses her. "This is the life. Just us, here, no worries, no shit to do..." he pauses, looking at the ground, "Which brings this up...the rest of the guys in the band are kinda fired up and they want us to all get together so we can start working on some new material...would you be okay with heading to the duke tomorrow or saturday and meeting up with them there?"

"I'm sorry, babe.." he says, putting his arm on her shoulder. "If you don't want to go, you don't have to, but...I want you to be with me."

"I'm...I'm sorry. It's just...the guys are used to the whole tour then work life. It's what we've been doing for the last year. It's not like we're going out on tour or even thinking about putting out a new album right away. They just want to work on shit...and they want me there. And I want you there. And I promise you, we can get married as soon as you want, wherever you want, however you want. You said you wanted to make sure Ada was okay before we got married, we can go see Ada there, right?" he says, feeling like total shit for bringing the subject up.

Sam puts his arm around her and holds her. "You're not going to be Yoko. You're not going to Nancy Spungen or Courtney Love or any of the bitches of the music industry. I love you, and I want you with me. And I'm going to make sure we're going to be okay. The duke is a safe place, and we'll be surrounded with people who care about us, Nichole.." he says in his most reassuring voice.

Sam smiles at her and leans in to kiss her. "I love you, so much...we can head out tomorrow? Or saturday, if you don't want to be...rushed."

Sam smiles when she smiles. "Well, I've been writing a lot of lyrics and it's definitely going to be...different than the last album. I mean, you can only say "religion is stupid" in so many ways. So now it's gonna be stuff like...'life is stupid', 'people are stupid', 'my girlfriend is awesome', and 'how to kill people in interesting ways'. Except I'll just say those things really eloquently."

"Of course.." he says, smiling at her. "I mean, you're a major part of my life. I've already written some. I think it's cool when you hear a really brutal song and you look at the lyrics and their not all negative. I think that really the only positive songs I've ever written are about you."
