Title:Losing Myself (Feat. Isabel)Length: 4:02Genre: Electropop, Pop RockRecorded: Los Angeles, California, New York City, New YorkWritten by: Jennifer Armstrong, Isabel MerjosProduced by: Gia Rise-HiltonBackground Information Infused with elements of R&B, Dance, Synths, and Pop rock, Losing Myself makes for the perfect midtempo dance song that's all about being true to yourself and standing for what you believe in. The song was written by both Armstrong and Merjos, making this their second collaboration single. The best friends teamed up for this duo and was produced by none other than Gia Rose-Hilton. Meant to sound like a dance song, Gia slowed down the tempo still keeping the elements of dance in it. This track was written while Izzy first started touring on her world tour and later recorded when Izzy came back to Los Angeles for her birthday, when the two met up and spent time together in and out of the studio. The song represents a claim of independence, freedom and how adamant they are about their stance which is also stated in the song in the lines, Open my mind, now you will know/Calling the shots/That's the way it will go.Description Losing Myself is a hooky, midtempo anthem, which is a style that has become the singer’s specialty. The song is anchored by Armstrong’s husky, belter’s voice. It’s her voice and the undulating beat that make this song a toe-tapper from the opening note to the closing one. The organic tone of Armstrong’s voice is what prevents the song from sound too synthy or studio created. Armstong harmonizes with Merjos throughout the song and their range and the passion with which they sing really brings out the song. They hit notes with a fire in her belly, and Jennifer imparts some serious soul into these lyrics. The collaboration is the second in which these two have worked on, the first being Mirror on Isabel's album, Dancing In The Dark. They have an undeniable chemistry here and Isabel's sweet voice mixes well with Jen's strong voice. Even though Izzy doesn't have the strongest voice, she manages to make it work in this song as the two create a beautiful sound together. The song starts off with Jen and her smoky voice. As the song continues, we hear Izzy in the background, singing along with her to the chorus. Izzy then sings the next verse with a more higher and sweeter tone than Jennifer. When the two combine for the chorus again, it really ties the song together. As the bridge surfaces. Jennifer sings and then Izzy's vocals are echoing her until she sings the last line, trying to give it her all. Jen sings the first half of the chorus and they again combine to finish the song.Quote:"This collaboration with Izzy was pretty much perfect in my eyes. We always have this great lightning when it comes to working together I think. The song is supposed to represent being able to stay true to yourself and not compromising what you believe in. Believe it or not, some people will do anything to be famous or make it and I don't believe in that for myself. I think the best artists are the ones who can just be themselves. People think that what Izzy does is a gimmick and that's not true at all, she's literally always been this happy and energetic. She may not be this crazy party girl but that doesn't mean she can't write songs about having fun and having a good time. Sometimes it's really hard to believe in yourself and you get discouraged because you see others making it and they're acting as fake as can be. We wanted to make this song to say that in the process of making it in this industry, we won't lose ourselves at all."

Lyrics [Verse 1] Truth and love are apart of me Living life without it, can't see That's just how it always will be And I won't change just for you Being me without compromise Not again, I won't have to hide Every day will never be lies I've spent so long to please your kind
Open my mind, now you will know Calling the shots That's the way it will go Taking small steps Not at one time I will be wrong but I know that I'm
[Chorus] I'm not losing myself So long that I have sat, And now I'm up to bat L-L-L-L-L-L-L-Losing myself Won't let them run this town, I'm doing better now
[Verse 2] No one said it would be easy Just to be who you want to be Everyone just wants a key To your life, To everything inside All locked up but you're screaming out Don't you know they'll fill you with doubt? Make you seem like you can't be found I won't spend any longer to please your kind
Open my mind, now you will know Calling the shots That's the way it will go Taking small steps Not at one time I will be wrong but I know that I'm
[Chorus] I'm not losing myself So long that I have sat, And now I'm up to bat L-L-L-L-L-L-L-Losing myself Won't let them run this town, I'm doing better now
[Bridge] We can't be held down For anything, We'll be around
Open my mind, now you will know Calling the shots That's the way it will go Taking small steps Not at one time I will be wrong but I know that I'm
Open my mind, now you will know Calling the shots That's the way it will go Taking small steps Not at one time I will be wrong but I know that I'm (I know that I'm)
[Chorus] I'm not losing myself So long that I have sat, And now I'm up to bat L-L-L-L-L-L-L-Losing myself Won't let them run this town, I'm doing better now I'm doing better now
Open my mind, now you will know Calling the shots That's the way it will go Taking small steps Not at one time I will be wrong but I know that I'm (I know that I'm)
[Chorus] I'm not losing myself So long that I have sat, And now I'm up to bat (Losing my) L-L-L-L-L-L-L-Losing myself (Losing myself) Won't let them run this town, I'm doing better now

Title:Long Overdue Length: 4:55Genre: R&B, DancepopRecorded: Los Angeles, CaliforniaWritten by: Jennifer Armstrong, Gia Rose-HiltonProduced by: Rico LoveBackground InformationJennifer Armstrong teamed up with R&B producer Rico Love for the last track on her album. The track is described as a club hit, something that you can definitely picture being played in a club scene. Jen takes the oppurtunity to express her feelings about waiting so long to come back into the music industry but makes it playful and fun. She also collaborates with her producer, Rico, as he can be heard beat boxing and even using his vocals for the bridge along with Armstrong. The track was the last song written for the album and, respectively, the last song on the deluxe edition. It is also rumored to be her next single from the album but neither Armstrong or Love confirmed said rumor.Description Quite possibly the only uptempo dance song on the album, Long Overdue is the perfect way to end an emotional roller coaster of an album. The track which is produced by Rico Love who's becoming a very repetitive name on this album. The R&B dance song was inspired by Jennifer's constant fan comments about her releasing new music and a new album. This vivacious track is a hybrid of various genres that Jen herself has been inspired by, including a rockin’ guitar riff, a hip-hop backing beat and a poppy vocal performance. This sexy club banger is a surefire hit, since it makes you want to move those dancing feet and groove along. Jen starts off the song with her ever confident and strong voice with the beat bumping in the background. The energetic beat really makes you wanna dance and her lyrics are very much pop like with the simple but catchy and fun hook and chorus. She delivers with her sassiness and even manages to still have an amazing vocal ability as she shows it off during the second singing of the chorus. There's a small instrumental part where you can hear what sounds like beat boxing, from producer Rico Love, and then it kicks into the Bridge where the two of them bounce off of each other, going back and forth. She wraps up the song with her belting out the first line as the beat continues to play. At the end of the song, you can hear Jen laughing, giving it a very relaxed and fun vibe to the song as it seems Jen is enjoying performing the song. The song is about her long awaited return and how much her fans have wanted a new album and new single from the singer. Quote:"I couldn't have asked for a more perfect ending to this album. It really just goes to show how far I've come as a person and as an artist. I laugh more, I have a lot more fun now and life is just great for me. I'm in a good place where I can make fun songs like this. I've felt bad about taking so long with my music but the end result to me was definitely worth it. I haven't really made a lot of Pop, Dance type of songs so it was great to make a change. Most of the album was really sad and slow so I wanted the album to end on a good note. It's like my celebration song. I feel amazing, I feel like I can conquer the world right now and this album, this feeling, it was very much long overdue."
