Serenity Scott Performs at Kids' Inaugural Serenity Scott made a surprise performance at the Kids' Inaugural: Our Children, Our Future concert at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center on Saturday night. Serenity wowed the entire audience as she rocked the stage in an American flag-themed onesie, performing her hit singles 'Marilyn Monroe' and 'Good Morning', also closing out the performance covering Katy Perry's 'Firework' song. Among the audience were the First Daughters Sasha and Malia Obama who both occupied two front-row seats at the concert which was dedicated to America's military families and had streamed to military bases across the nation. The event was hosted by Nick Cannon himself and had other performers such as Glee, Usher, and more!

Magie Lena bankrupt, unemployed and unloved?Culture Uncut was the first one to announce ElectroDeath’s departure last year and also was the first one to announce their engagement with E-Records in a multi-million contract of over 30 million dollars of investments from the band’s members and managers at the raising label. Well now that the band doesn’t exist anymore, they also ended up their relationship with E-Records, which assumes us to understand that some big money was lost in their transition even more if we look to E-Records achievements last year. No big deal! The point is that last night Magie Lena ‘joked’ on twitter with her fans that she was unemployed after she was questioned about her upcoming album by some of her 15 million followers. Well today Culture Uncut was contact by a closer person of Lena’s family who said that Magie had bankrupt last year and that this was the main reason they ended up ElectroDeath. The contact said that the last tour only brought losses to E-Records and that they decide to end their relationship with the band because the girls refused to extend the tour to bring some money to the organization. This ended up in breach of contract between the band and the label which caused the band to pay some rights to the label’s owners due to their disengagement with some clauses in the contract. The contact even said that Magie Lena spent too much money last year with her refined lifestyle that now she’s living with her sister’s money Abie Lena. Magie who had been on rehab six years ago due to depression and controlled drug abuse, seems to be in the edge of another breaking down, the same contact who said she was bankrupt affirms that she’s desperate to resume her relationship with Billy Beckett, alleging that she never wanted to leave him and that she will do whatever she has to be with him again. The contact also said that despite she was trying to find a label, no one really wants to afford her solo career with the fear that she won’t be able to handle the pressure and instead of losing money she’s not worth, they decide to neglect her attempts. And it also seems that she tried to contact labels such as Studio60, Chaos Records, Liberation/Nomad Record (this last one the same label of her last boyfriend). What happens now Magie Lena? Billie Beckett: His New Love Life After a crazy few years Billie Beckett made an odd blog post at the beginning of the year stating that Reported Failure would be "settling down". He hinted at all of them starting families. Drummer Robert Edwards has a son already. Vin Peters is getting married next month. Matt Collins has been dating popstar Brittany Knox for close to a year. As for Beckett though things have been rocky. He had a son whom he didn't find out about until 2011. The almost thirty year old Beckett had a rocky relationship with the mother: the two had split before Beckett knew about the pregnancy. Two music stars, Bianca Motrreti and Magie Lena both left Beckett after only a few months together. Since the new year started Beckett has been spending time in Santa Cruz and growing out his beard (pictured above). He was spotted several times with his now four year old son. But sources confirm that he's also been spotted multiple times with a slender dirty blonde woman. The hair color bares resemblance to that of Billie's son which has led us and everyone else in the entertainment world to believe it is the boy's mother. So are they back together? It does seem that way. The three of them were spotted on the beach together and then getting into one car together. Although Beckett and the mystery woman weren't holding hands they each at a separate time held the kid's hand which presents even more evidence that it is his mother and the fact that they all left together suggests that after all of these years the two of them may have patched up the relationship. This will come as sad news to thousands of fan girls in addition to Magie Lena who recently said that she wished she had never left Beckett. |

 TISHA JACKSON: "I WILL BE A JUDGE ON SEASON TWO OF STAR FACTORY"
-Inside Details on The Pop-Stars Role on The Show & What Really Happened To Katie ColyeTisha Jackson assured everyone that SHE WILL BE A JUDGE ON Season two of Star Factory. Rumors began to swirl when viewers saw Indie-Princess Katie Coyle fill in for Jackson on the show last week. Jackson was a no show at The Grey Ghost Hall where the contestants performed for the judges for the first time.
However, the producers of the reality-singing competition was aware of Jackson, the highest paid judge on the panel was not coming. She informed them she would be ‘unable to make it’ a source says for reasons which still were not clarified. Producers excused her and scrambled to find a replacement judge to fill in for Tisha. That’s when Coyle was called and she and the other judges continued with the show.
The producers of the show assured Coyle that she would just be filling in for Jackson and the contestants she bidded on who chose her would be on Jackson’s team. Thankfully the only contestants to be a part of Jackson’s team chosen by Katie is a group called ‘Jumping Trains’.
The producers announced today that being that Jackson was unable to meet her team they will produce a special episode of the show where Jackson gets united with ‘Jumping Trains’. They will meet at the pop-princesses home in New York City so Jackson can get to know them better, and they can talk about the first round of the show, and how she will eventually lead them to the finals and win the show.
Jackson has spoken with each member of her team as today and they were reportedly ‘ecstatic’ to speak with Tisha over the phone. Jackson apologized for the mix up. All has been forgiven and producers are ‘extremely excited’ for Jackson to be back on board with the show a source says. Saying that they think, “She will add spice to the show that it needs” furthering “She isn’t the highest paid judge on the panel for no reason”. However all parties involved with the show might not be happy with Jackson being on the show because it looks like a feud is brewing between Tisha and fellow judge Brittany Knox. More news on that coming in upcoming minutes.

Hayden: No offense but don't make out like Tisha Jackson is the "Star" of the show and the biggest "Star" on the panel. Also, if we're gonna be fair Katie actually took the time out of her schedule when she could have been watching her son to fill in because you didn't show. She actually bid for the contestants and everything so I think it's kinda unfair that she just gets dismissed. With all that being said, I still think there should be more male judges, ahem. |

Damion Holmes: I think everyone is over reacting here and trying a bit too hard to be the "best judge". I didn't hire each of you to do this show to compete to be the most fierce judge on the panel, I hired each of you to help find the next big star in pop culture. Katie did a very nice favor for not only myself, but also for Starfactory and Tisha. I wish there was more room for her on the panel, but Tisha couldn't make the show and doesn't mean Katie fills her spot for the entire season. Contracts that are signed just can't be terminated quickly and Tisha has signed a contract to appear on the show. Now she missed the show and that is unacceptable but we spoke about it..Katie understands and our live shows begin on Sunday. It's not big deal, cheers to an amazing season. Tisha, please be with us and keep the negativity to a minimum? That goes for everyone. Hayden, I know you want your girlfriend to be on the panel but it's much more to it then that. Katie: I'm not sure I like the tone of this article. To suggest I was told that I would only be filling in is a pure fabrication. I was at the show to show some support to my boyfriend, and I jumped in to offer to sit there when someone else didn't show. I chose an act that I thought I could work with and that act chose me, not Tish.
To continually repeat that someone is the highest paid judge is a bit much as well. I don't see the point to that part, because had I been there, I'd have commanded a much higher wage. I just hope that the section of her fee where Tisha didn't show gets donated to charity.
Layla: I'm not a star or nothing....just a lil old contestant on this contest...but doesn't it seem to anyone else that lettin one act have an extra show is gonna make them stand out and get more exposure? That ain't fair. Ain't no point in the rest of us tryin' if this is gonna happen.

 ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE BETWEEN THE POP DIVAS
-Inside Jackson's & Knox's Feud + How The Other Judges Feel About What's Happening The drama is heating up on the set of Star Factory and it’s not even a soap opera! All the drama is surrounding the new girl in class, Tisha Jackson vs the popular girl of the class Brittany Knox. Jackson who signed on for season two of Star Factory is reportedly feuding with her co-judge Brittany Knox. It all started months ago when it was first announced that the R&B-Princess was joining the show, Knox conveniently tweeted “smh” [shaking-my-head]. Jackson however ignored the tweet and announced how happy she was to be joining the judging panel.
The peace didn’t last for long however when Jackson tweeted her displease of the photo used for her on the official poster for season two of the reality-singing competition show. Knox followed her tweet and labeled Jackson behavior as “whining” “complaining”. Jackson fired back taking shots at Knox’s weight saying on her twitter account, “If the producers hadn’t put me next to such a big girl then maybe I wouldn’t look so small”, Jackson followed “put down the pizza”.
Sources close to Jackson’s camp allege that Jackson “Is not impressed with Brittany at all” they continued “She think she is very cheesy and fake” and that “Tisha doesn’t understand why Brittany disapproves of her on the show being that she is active in the business and has actual work outside of Star Factory” our source finished with, “When was the last time Brittany picked up a mic?”
We also spoke with a close source of Knox’s camp as well who alleges “Brittany wasn’t feeling Tisha ever since they announced she would be on the panel”. They allege that “Brittany demanded that Jackson leave her diva attitude at the door if she was going to be a part of the show.” The source alleged that, “When the cast shot the official poster for the show, the looks Brittany and Tisha gave each other were priceless.” Our source closed out with, “You could cut the tension between them with a knife.”
The feud continued as of this week, when to Brittany’s surprise, Miss Jackson was still very much a part of season two of Star Factory. This came as a surprise because it appeared that Indie-Princess, Katie Coyle had replaced Jackson on the judging panel because Jackson was a no show on the first day. However Jackson disputed the claims she was replaced and producers have since clarified that Jackson will be a judge on the second season of the show.
Drama also erupted when Coyle’s boyfriend, Hayden Merjos suggested on his twitter page that there was too much estrogen and diva like attitudes in the room saying, “we need more male judges on the show”. His commented left Jackson offended apparently as she tweeted back, “I thought Hayden was my bro” and continuing “We have more than enough judges on the panel”. The drama has stars not even involved with the show talking as well as fans of the show.
Hopefully Jackson’s intention is on finding the next big talent, we would hate for her to be just on the panel for a pay check. Well, I guess we are in for quite a season. Tune in on Thursday when Jackson meets her team for the first time, ‘Jumping Trains’. And definitely tune in on Sunday January 27th for the first episode of the live shows. Hopefully all the judges show up this time, that was shade thrown at you Miss Jackson [if you didn’t notice].

Katie: Why does this publication keep referring to me as indie? I'm a folk artist mostly with only the slightest indie tones. Anyway, this drama needs to stop. I came into the panel, I left the panel, and I don't see why everyone is getting into such a fuss over it. I'm not sad or upset, and no one else needs to be. Please guys, make it about the young people who have the chance to make a career of music, not about the judges. |

No one cares, they want to view the up and coming artists. I'm not being biased at all, everyone knows that I always speak my mind no matter who it offends. That's all the point that everyone is making. It's not 'The Tisha Jackson Show' okay? You're making yourself look bad. |
