Johnny: Sun better let us in or I will release all knowledge of being involved in that job with the Memphis Mafia to try an reanimate his corpse. A zombie Elvis didn't really sit to well with anybody. Couldn't get him through Hound Dog or Viva Las Vegas without trying to eat any body. So it was best we just put him down. It was a valiant effort on the part of science though to try and bring him back though. Some things are just best left alone.

erich: hell hath no fury like zombie elvis. every lousy elvis impersonator is an affront to the majesty of the king.thats probably why zombie elvis was so..bitey. i can get elvis to appear, but i'm pretty sure nobody else can see him. the king is a hell of a cat,and i literally owe him my life.

erich:the first time was in memphis, fittingly. we were in town and it was one of those shows were everything went wrong. we sucked, the pa system sounded like fucking ipod speakers.back at the hotel we were slamming down shots of everclear and snorting lines like rick james.bad combo,i know. anyway,in the course of the night,i ended up laying in the bathtub. the brink of death was close,my heart felt like a mack truck trying to fit into a shirt pocket.suddenly,i heard the first two chords of "jailhouse rock." and the king himself was there beside me...sitting on the toilet, oddly enough. i dont know if he appreciated the irony, considering how he died,or he was too classy to sit on the sink to watch me die. he reached down for me,with gold encrusted hands and lifted me up. i asked what he was doing here,as i expected the spectre of death to be more...well,less elvis and more grim reaper. he told me."it's not your time, cat. you are slated for much better things than drug overdoses or car crashes. your death will be much more entertaining." and with that,he was gone. natrually,i had to put this to the test the next night. drank two bottles of everclear and took the caddy out for a spin. within seconds, elvis was sitting there again. he scowled "dammit, boy. when i told you that last night,it wasnt a fucking challenge!" and punched me in the face.things went black and i woke up in my bed. at this point, most people would say i'm full of shit. but when i looked in the mirror,i had a red mark on my cheek,it was a lighting bolt with the letters "TCB" beside it. the king's ring was there. now, whenever i do something stupid,he comes from the hoary underworld to save me. like the time i tried heroin...and the second time i tried it. there wasnt a third time.

karoliena:actaully the first time we met elvis was during a trip to the bermuda triangle. i ended up with rhinestones in my undies and erica....well,our erica was switched for an erica from another dimension.she had the exact same memories and personality as the erica we knew,but...she was asian. our original erica was brunette and looked like rachel berry from that terrible tv show with all the singing.

The Thunder Who?

Been keeping it under wraps for a while but I'm combining my solo project Southland and ND into a big ass kicking wall of sound! For the moment a one time only thing! Rolling from town to town and city to city with the apt name The Thunder Mountain Revue. Seeing as Bob Dylan and The Band already stole the name I wanted. I plan to play our first show as a free two nighter out in the sticks of my residence. Donations accepted because all charitable proceeds are going to Hurricane Sandy and the families of Sandy Hook. Because that's what good guys do. Anybody want to join me for this show please drop me a line. I've said it a billion times. We sit on our asses too much. Giving back is what we were made to do with the talent we have.

Johnny: I will admit myself Miss Roxy are hitting it off quite well. She's hanging around my place at the moment. Though you do need to get your ass out here. Need to christen the studio proper with some drinks. I've got some more interesting family you need to meet too. Something tells me you'll like my Uncle Clyde just as much you dug my gramps. He's really something else.

The time has come for us to part friends. We thank everybody for their support over the years. It's time we wrap it up. It's been a hell of a ride. There's one more album in the works and a big show in progress as well. Combining my solo band and ND progressing into a beautiful fusion that I can't begin to describe. We even threw in some horns. You have no idea what a treat this will be for your lears.

The break up is mutual. Joe has a two year old son and now his wife has another baby on the way. He really wants to be a dad to his son. Being on the road all the time makes it hard. Seeing as we made a pact at the beginning that if anybody left the band we wouldn't replace them. We've been together too long that some people can't be replaced and the same feeling would be lost. Finding another guitar player and a better friend like Joe would be impossible. Nobody can fill those shoes. I also want to focus on my band with Erich and Roxy full time now. It's hard being committed to two bands at once. So this was all for the best. The ride's not over yet though kids. So keep your eyes and ears open.

Hennessy Daniels: Producer, Raconteur, and Man About Town

Hennessy Daniels. If that's his real name produced our first album as kids and did several more for us while we were still independent. By far the one man who knows us almost better than we know ourselves band wise. We brought him back on to do our last album because we figured it was pretty fitting. He did the first so he might as well do the last. The man's a classy drinker and enjoys a cigar as you can tell. Very much like the cool uncle at the family reunion. The one that drinks, smokes, cusses, and tells questionable stories that you're not sure to believe or not. But they may be true and probably could be. Hen can tell a story and actually drink me under the table which is impressive by my standards. I plan to have him on for the next Unwashed and Well Read album as well. He's the coolest cat on my block and knows his way around a studio. Punk Rock, Rockabilly, Country, Blues, or whatever you fancy. The guy knows it all really. He's the biggest eccentric drunk I know. Glad to have him back on the helm. -- Johnny

From The Horse's Mouth or Jackass, which ever you prefer.

Well I've been sitting here for the last hour drinking muscadine wine. Not exactly sure what's on the stereo but I'm pretty sure that it was either Hank Williams or Link Wray. For anybody that gives a shit about the system I use it's an old vinyl record player. It's good to get back with Johnny and the band I really started cranking out with records with. They were noisy, unpolished, and didn't care that their sound was loud or distorted. My job was to just refine it a little bit. They came into their own by themselves and polished up with out any work on my part. Johnny took the lead on that himself and took some pointers from me. That's the best thing about being a producer with your own band. You know what you want. He obviously knew what he wanted and found out how to work it. Along with making it even better. I was impressed when I walked back into Johnny's studio and saw all the equipment. It was a beautiful set up. A producer's wet dream.

I had a smoke along with a few drinks and we caught up. Then discussed old times and all that bullshit. No real particulars about the album were discussed. Though it was agreed we were going to stay in the territory of blues, rock, and alt. country. I might throw in a few surprises but it's going to stay pretty much easy on content. I've always been about sound. It has to sound right regardless of genre. Genre pigeon holes you way too fucking much. That's why I hate being defined as producer of one type of music. I'll do it all as I see fit and nobody's going to tell my different that's for damn sure. Well the buzz is starting to set in and I need to stop writing before it starts becoming unreadable. I'll start ranting about music and that time I had sex with Russian Twins. Which I assure was a good time and all for the mother land.

But this cat,he drinks and appearantly has a thing for Russian girls. I bet I could throw a captain and tenille record in the air,and he could karate chop it.
