GIRLSPICE REUNION: WITHOUT NADIA BERRY? Could GirlSpice be reuniting later again this year... without the group's most important asset, Nadia Berry? The "Records On" songstress has shown no interest in reuniting with the other three girls for a new record and tour, but it looks like the others are tired of waiting for her to change her mind on a reunion.
"Nadia clearly has zero interest on getting back with GirlSpice at this stage, she's focused on pursuing an acting career for the time being and her own music," said a source. "The rest of the girls want a comeback though, and they're no longer willing to wait on Nadia to see if she'll eventually change her mind. Sophia's planning on releasing a solo album before comitting to anything, but she is more than willing to be a part of it. Chantal has just had a baby and wants to show she doesn't have to rely on Stinson, and Kimberly has kept a low profile but definitely wants to be a part of it. Nadia's the one holding them back from doing anything."
GirlSpice's last studio album Night Rider became their biggest album yet and was supported by a massive sell-out world tour. The album was certified diamond for sales of over 5 million copies, making them the only girl group with that achievement on Chart Heat.
Could the girls be succesful as a three-piece without Nadia? Or should it be all four or nothing? |

Billy: More like PCD without Nicole or DC without Beyonce. Not being mean but these girls won't survive without Nadia. Fact, not insult.
Oscar: Well I sort of agree with my band mates. These girls can vocally survive without Nadia, I've always thought Kimberly had a very underrated voice. As for image, Sophia is a selling point. However, I think Nadia (even before the massive solo success) had a huge fan base of her own and was the favourite of many fans so without her in the group I'm not sure if they will be as successful. These girls will probably still have amazing tunes and the GirlSpice name just sells itself but without Nadia, I don't think the momentum for the comeback will be as big. |

Brittany: Wow. This is something here. I'd really like to see what they can do without Nadia. I think the girls will be fine, each are very talented females. One doesn't make the group, although there will obviously be a missing factor.. I still think with the experience they all have.. it will be a success :). But nonetheless, GS isn't the same without all 4. |

Nathan: Obviously Nadia is the most well-known member from the group, but that can't overshadow the talent of the other members posses themselves. This shouldn't be anything new for GirlSpice since any longtime fan knows they have gone through various members through out their time in the industry, some of those groupings without their original member, and it worked for them. The only difference with this is seeing if this trio of Chantal, Kimberly, and Sophia can thrive without her. I'm a firmly believer that with or without that fourth member, GirlSpice will still make a good pop music and remain the go-to group for such genre. Edited by user 28 January 2013 08:30:17(UTC)

LUKE GETS IN SHAPE FOR ACTION PACKED MUSIC VIDEOSTAR IS ENDURING GRUELLING PERSONAL TRAINING SESSIONS (Above: Luke took a casual stroll through his neighbourhood on Friday)It looks like these next few weeks are going to be pretty hectic for singing sensation Luke Striker if these pictures are anything to go by. The 21 year old singer has recently hired a personal trainer to help get him back into shape for a brand new video and to stop his self confessed laziness. Luke is gearing up to release his debut album 'Overload' nearly two years after first bursting onto the scene with the single 'Sorry Again'. The album has been highly anticipated for quite some time but hasn't materialised and release dates have been constantly pushed back. However, it seems that will not be the case now as Luke now promises his fans that he will no longer be hanging around waiting on luck to help him score a hit. The American singer is now undertaking gruelling training sessions in order to get him ready for the year ahead and a new video that is bound to get all the ladies hot under the collar. We can hear them drooling now. Yep, Mr Striker is putting himself through his paces so his fans can look forward to what he will deliver.  (Above: The singer working out on Saturday)Luke experienced huge chart success last year with all of his singles going top 10 and a few number ones thrown in for good measure. These tracks all achieved tremendous amounts of success with very little promotion from Luke so we can't wait to see how much of an impact his releases will have on the charts this year as the singer has promised to dedicate more time to his fans and promo. Will 2013 lead to an even bigger Striker Domination? Well there is now a huge buzz surrounding the album and the new single which is titled 'Insomnia'. The song is said to be his most uptempo to date and reports say that the song was co-written by his talented girlfriend, Mercedes Payne. The clip for the action packed single will be shot this week and will premiere some time in February whilst the song will premiere, be sent to radio stations and will be eligible to download next week  (Above: On Sunday, Luke worked out in his bare feet with his personal trainer for hours on end)Luke Striker wrote:"I think it was about time that I finally got off my ass and really got back into my music. I feel as if I became lazy and I haven't been doing much lately which isn't a good feeling. The album has been finished for quite some time now so it's just been sitting there waiting to get released and I haven't been in the recording studio so I've just really been sitting around for a while. I was also touring with Vanity for quite some time too so I wasn't really able to promote much of my previous singles and I just felt like I was neglecting my music career and fans which is something I never want to do. This is why I'm really pushing this album now, there's going to be a lot of promo and even some album signings. I've also got a new single coming out which is titled 'Insomnia' and the main reason that I'm currently busting my ass with all these training sessions is because the video for this track really demands it. The clip will involved a whole lot of stunts and running plus it's all being shot in one take so yeah, I really need to be in good shape. This song is probably the most fast paced on the album and my most commercial I think. It sort of carries on musically from where 'Don't Walk Away' left off due to the whole dub-step, electro vibe there is but 'Insomnia' is more uptempo and is a great workout track, I actually listen to it sometimes during my training sessions. The reason I chose this to be the next single is because we recently came out of the whole festive period and all we heard was either Christmas ballads or those charity singles which are nice but I just wanted to release something that packs more of a punch and that will kick off my 2013 to a great start and I think 'Insomnia' is the track to do it. This year will be pretty big for me as I have a lot of stuff planned so getting back into the swing of things now and all the personal training will do me the world of good and help increase my stamina."  Erica Hess Musician like to give back. This is a well known fact. Erica Hess,most famous for providing half a good portion of the nakedness on last season's big brother. She also recently married ex-lasher,Natalya dobros. We think she is in a band of some sort,but damned if anyone can name what it is. Erica's recent project seems to be tv. That's right,music's dirty sweetheart has her sights set for your living room. Today marks the start of Erica Hess' (possibly misguided) public service campaign. The ad below has started running on moderate rotation on most cable networks. Quote: Erica PSA 1
Erica is sitting in a circle with a bunch of teenagers. ( Teen s in the way that they are about 35.) They are about 10 years out of fashion and the group is clearly made for tv diverse. There is even a boy in a wheelchair.
"Oh,hi! We didn't hear you come in." Erica laughs and the "teens" awkwardly join In. "Today we are talking about....,sex." Erica says with a smile. When the word "sex" is said,a jarring organ chord sounds.
All the "teens" look at each other. "Sex?! What do we do,miss Erica?" They ask in a scared voice.
" I'm glad you asked!" Erica beams. " oh,Mikey...you can "sit" this one out, you can't feel anything from the waist down." She shrugs at the "kid" in the wheel chair. Who rolls away,muttering " fuck this. And fuck that bitch."
" ok. " Erica says clapping her hands. "....sex. Its one of those things that can mark you for life. Be good at it,and everyone will love you. Do it badly? Well,you might as well kill yourself as word WILL get around and there goes your chance at hope and love." She giggles far too cheerfully. " so what are you to do? Like any full contact sport,practice practice practice."
"Um,wouldn't that make me a whore? " says one of the girls.
"No. We are practicing. Not whoring. There is a big difference." Erica says brightly. "Duh."
" you are arguing semantics!" The girl says loudly.
" I am not! One of my best friends is Jewish!" Erica scowls back. " I've never had sex with her,but she looks amazing at it." Erica says with a nod.
" my dad says masturbation made him blind. So how can we practice? I don't wanna go blind!" One of the "kids" says.
"The fuck?" Erica says looking confused. " did he get It in his eye,or what?"
The "boy" looks shocked." I ...I didn't really ask." He stammers
Erica wordlessly points to the door until he finally leaves. " ok. Misinformation isn't your friend. Fuck it. If it weren't for sex,none of us would be here. So get out there and do it!"
All the "kids" shout " LETS DO IT!" , then jump in the air and the screen freezes. |

Pixie New Face of Orbit Gum and Gets Own Flavor! The sexy and outspoken Finnish singer has been announced as the new face for Orbit gum after signing an exclusive deal with them this past weekend. The contract, which is reportedly to be worth $2 million, will appear on ads, billboards, and all other advertising in order to promote a new flavor of theirs which was helped created by hers truly, Pixie, BubbleMint. This is apart of their new campaign, "Match My Pack: What Are You Wearing?" challenge in which Pixie was voted by fans as the winner and therefore became the new face of the new flavor and Orbit gum. Pixie decided to have a challenge of her own in which fans submitted fan photos of them making an Orbit gum theme inspired photo and it would be judged for a chance to meet the singer at one of her shows including backstage passes and a night out to dinner with her. Pixie worked with Orbit flavors to create and outfit and a photo shoot based around it and they will appear worldwide as part of their deal. The outfit consists of mostly black with bows designed to be featured throughout the outfit completed with an Orbit gum belt that she made with white bows and spikes. So far this is one of two endorsement deals Pixie is involved with, another which will be revealed next month. Culture Uncut had been given the tip from a source that we are unable to name towards the end of 2012 that she could be ready to make a real name for herself in the new year and were recently told that things are in place for Maddie Urie to begin planning her year even as early as January, we took this as an opportunity to be one of the first to speak to the musician on a number of topics and here’s the highlights of our conversation with Maddie; “First time around was a nightmare for me. I was fifteen at the time and I allowed myself to get washed up in the promises and the glory that those representing me and guiding me kept talking about. I was a fifteen year old kid, I wasn’t an artist. I was just part of a product that failed miserably. I’ve grown over these past few years and believe me, the person I am now is a million miles away from the person that I was then.” so what has Maddie been doing since ‘Two Equals Three’ vanished? “I finished up school and I went away. I spent the past year of my life working in Europe. I forget about my dreams, well I think it was more a case of me deciding to put my dreams on hold. I took a normal job, well semi-normal anyway.” she laughs, “I became a holiday rep in Spain. I essentially got to see the entire country and got to explore that change in lifestyle. Now I can speak fluent Spanish and I’m capable of taking care of myself … I did a whole lot of growing up. But I also learnt that it’s more important to enjoy things when you can. I now live my own life without restrictions or worries and I’m in the best place I’ve ever been.”And the Urie name? “It’s what it is. Matt has his thing going on with Suburban Sunrise although it’s a lot more low-key than it used to be and James is off doing his thing with his career. We don’t have many similarities; we just get on with our lives. We see each other from time to time but I wouldn’t say that we’re the closest family in the world.
