Scott and Cassie were so hard at work that they didn't even look up when the door gently opened and closed. The two chuckled at something on screen and moved some pictures around, before Scott was slightly startled to hear someone speak, having thought they were the only two in there. They both look up at once. Cassie rolls her eyes and looks back at the screen while Scott stands up.

"Afternoon..." He says, a little confused as to why Suzie is there. He nods

"Its....been a while yeah."

He shakes her hand and sits down again.

"how can I help you?"

Scott looks up and then turns to look at Cassie.

"It's your call."

Cassie lets out a little growl and then stands up, walking past Suzie and bumping her with her shoulder as she leaves.

Scott laughs a little and looks over at Suzie.

"Have a seat," he says, pointing at a chair across the desk from him.

"What's up?"

Scott coughs and then sits back, taking a drink from the bottle of water on top of his desk. He nods occasionally as he listens to her. This was a side that he had never seen of Suzie before. She looked quite serious, very business-like and like she really wanted something.

"So you are going to be concentrating more on your music? For real? You know, Suzie, I don't begrudge people doing music the way they want to, and I think that anyone who chooses to make themselves famous like you did with all the controversy and stuff to put themselves out there....." he sighs, "well you need to be applauded. I always think that getting yourself out there is the most important thing. Marshall McLuhan said "the medium is the message." And I interpret that as saying that you need the ability to get music out there before you can do it and build a career."

He nods at his own thought.

"However, I do think you're at the stage in your career where you don't need that anymore. Everyone knows you, and you are a star, and I think you have the ability to make music for the sake of the music."

He thinks for a while.

"You promise that you're going to put your focus on making the best music you can, yeah?"

Scott pushes his flat mohawk back with his hand and takes another drink from his bottle.

"You know something...I'm shocked you aren't on a major label already. If someone had asked me, I'd have just assumed one of the others had signed you up a long time ago. I agree with what you say though, you do have to keep playing up to the sex appeal a little. You can't just drop who you are entirely, because the fans would disappear."

He thinks.

"If you want...sure I'll give you a chance."

He smiles.

Scott smiles at Suzie.

"I trust you to make some good music here, so I hope you don't let me down."

He nods.

"You seem to have a level head on your shoulders. It's all I ask for. That and to make an absolute fuckload of dollars. Which I think you will do, so we haven't got a problem on that front."

He holds his hand out.

"Shall we shake on a deal on Suzie joining the family at Chaos Records then?"

Scott smiles.

Scott smiles.

"Its a pleasure doing business with you. I'm sure we'll all make a lot of money out of this deal."

He shakes her hand, impressed with how professional Suzie had been.

Scott smiles.

"No worries. I look forward to hearing what you can do."

Cassie shakes her head at Suzie and walks back into the office.

"Thank God its gone. Smells of plastic in here." She laughs.

Scott RH is in his office, not even pretending to be busy. The majority of the Chaos staff were based in New York, and while the LA office was dealing with the Chaos Awards, most of them were at the Kodak Theater working things out for the big show in almost two weeks time. He was sat at his desk, his feet up on the top of it, top shirt button out as he throws balls of paper at the bin in the corner. When the door is knocked, he sits up.

"Come in," he calls, yawning.

Scott laughs and stands up. He shakes Oscar's hand.

"How's it going?" He smiles. "Take a seat."

Scott sits back down.

"Yeah, yeah I guess I'm doing alright. Bored as shit being out here alone like, but hey, shit happens and there's work to be done on this side of the country."
