SYNCO - Never Really Mattered - Chaos Awards VII


All the lights in the arena are turned off except for a few spotlights on a table right in the middle of the stage where the five girls from the girl group SYNCO are sat at the girls were all a little nervous but they were all also extremely excited they were performing at and attending their first ever award show when just last year they were all watching the awards at home on their televisions they hadn't even known each other then they didn't even know of each others existence yet here they were about to perform at one of the biggest award shows ever as a group of now best friends who were put together by one of the biggest boy bands right now it was all crazy and it was all just sinking in how far they could go together and the things they could do together some of the girls have tried a career in music separately and they had never worked out however as a group they were so much stronger they each had their weak points as solo artists Layla could come off as annoying, Jamie had a powerful voice but and an amazing range but was still learning to control it, Alex had an amazing voice but would get boring alone, Naomi had a very nice voice but would also get boring if it was alone and Nicole's voice was seen as too theatrical at times however together they brought out their stronger points Jamie's powerful voice at certain times, Layla's very unique voice at certain times, Alex's amazing voice most the time then some Naomi and Alex at certain parts and some of those amazing Harmonies it all worked out great for them as a group and they were all so happy to even have had this opportunity given to them they were all definitely extremely thankful and happy to have met each other they had rehearsed a lot for this performance Dustyn Blue had thought it all up for them helping them with the choreography and telling them what to do and basically setting it all up for them anyway the table was set up to look like they were having a sort of tea party they had teapots teacups and a cake right between Alex and Jamie the girls were all dressed as Disney princesses in puffy dresses that were however a little shorter than a princesses dress with high heels and Layla even had a giant bow that was probably as big as her head all people started cheering rather loudly when they seen the table in the middle the arena was still pitch black apart from the lights on the girls in the table this sort of repetitive sound started playing all throughout the arena as the girls harmonized together slowly their harmonies sounded almost perfect right now a lot better than they had before although they were really good before they sounded their best with the harmonies here on this performance every girl in the group had a very different voice and they were all individually great however together right now they sounded amazing if you had heard the girls solo it'd be hard to imagine them singing together in harmony like this however it did sound amazing all of their voices blended together really well as they sang the soft harmonies together

After the girls had finished harmonizing together the camera goes over to Nicole and zooms in rather close Nicole was known as the most innocent girl in the group she was also the sweetest and biggest Christian of the girls she would also sometimes be known as the mom of the group always being there for the girls when they had been going through something she could read the girls easier than anyone else can apart from Layla and Alex who had this special connection somehow anyway Nicole was also the eldest of the five girls and known for her more theatrical voice which was a good way to set her apart from some of the other girls however her voice wasn't as popular as the other girls' voices since Jamie had this amazingly powerful voice with this incredible range, Layla had a very unique voice that really set her apart and made people fall in love with her and Alex had this very rich and mature sort of voice and she was also the leader so Nicole's voice wasn't as popular as the other three Nicole smiled looking directly at the camera as she sang her part that slow little sound continued playing throughout the arena as she sang her part and the lights were still off apart from the spotlights on the table and the girls as Nicole sang she would do these sort of actions and move around a little as she sang "covered my eyes I didn't want to see it" she made her hand into an "OK" sort of shape and brought it up to her eye as she finished her part of the first verse which was shared with Alex

After Nicole had finished her part the leader of the group Alex began to sing she was known for her short temper she had been in Twitter arguments with the likes of The Stat Nerds well 2/4 of them, her best friend Layla, her boyfriend Andros and her boss Billy Khan from weekend however the last three didn't last very long as they were all people who were very close to her she was also known for her eyes which for some reason the fans loved to talk about and tweet about she had no idea why though and lastly she was known for her amazing voice she had a very mature and rich sound to her voice which set her apart and made her the leader of the group if Layla was the lead vocalist people would probably get annoyed after awhile because Layla had an amazing voice though too much of it could possibly get annoying at times and Jamie couldn't be the leader although she had an amazingly powerful voice even more powerful than Alex which is saying something because Alex has a very powerful voice as well Jamie couldn't lead the group because of her lack of control over her voice Naomi or Nicole couldn't lead the group either they were the weaker voices although they had amazing voices they didn't quite match up to the others Naomi had a very nice voice but some seen it as average while some seen it as great Nicole's voice had too much of a theatrical feel to it so Alex was decided as the lead vocalist of the group as Alex sang her part she moved her hand around a little and looked around then placed it on her chest after she had her part which was "I'd rather live in a lie I tried my best I really did I mean it" the girls all came in for more harmonies as they all sang together "but I guess my best wasn't enough" Alex then comes back and finishes up her part of the verse with "I've given my all but it was always uneven" as that little sound that was playing earlier continued playing now

After Alex had got through with her part the beat came in a little more and the camera moved over to the youngest girl in the girl group Layla however the lights were still turned off apart from those spotlights Layla was known as probably the most popular girl in the group because of her silly personality she was very funny and nice a lot of the time she was also known as a "fan girl" which she says she is she also didn't really care how people seen her she says she is one of the biggest Weekenders you'd ever meet all the girls are Weekenders but Layla takes it to the next level having a bunch of posters and cardboard cutouts of the boys and a lot more at home in her old room however although Layla was known for that silly personality she was also known for having this amazingly unique voice and her amazing riffs and runs that she could easily do when some people would struggle with them people really loved Layla's voice however she couldn't have been the lead vocalist as that fit Alex better than it could fit her she also seen it as too much pressure for her to possibly be the lead vocalist of the group Layla wasn't a big fan of leading anything she was just happy doing what she done in the group which was singing her parts Layla had gotten the most cheers from the audience as she began singing her part as she was the most popular in the group as she sang she would look around the room a little pretending to look confused and as if she didn't know where she was she then looked at the camera and taped her head with her index finger and winked as she had finished her last part of the pre-chorus

As soon as Layla had finished the pre-chorus of the song the camera zoomed out from her to all the girls and the table the lights were all on now and the beat had come in more in the back a sort of wonderlandish forest could be seen which fit well with everything else going on as it had a sort of Alice In The Wonderland theme to it and it seemed sort of like the mad hatters tea party with the set up and the way the girls were dressed it also explained why Layla had the giant bow on in a way owever bows were also Layla's trademark much Like former Weekend member Oscar's curls they had decided that to be her trademark anyway the girls all began looking around the arena as they sang together in harmony the sound to this song was extremely different to their debut and follow up single this song had a very different sound wich the girls loved they harmonized throughout the whole chorus and continued looking around as they sang "It never really mattered, it never really mattered, it never really mattered, it never really mattered, it never really" together in an almost perfect Harmony the girls had improved a lot since their first performance together on Weekend: The Big Search and since their X Factor performance the girls then all placed their elbows on the table and looked at the camera as soon as they placed their elbows on the table a drum could be heard and the other lights flickered on and off as they did they had a choreographed sort of routine they did at the table it wasn't a lot but they had practiced it a lot and did it well they seemed to be in sync with each other they also continued harmonizing throughout the rest of the chorus and it sounded even better now than before as they sang the "Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh ,oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh they then finished that part off with a higher pitched "ah" as they finished the little table choreography and harmonizing

The beat was now fully playing as after they finished the chorus and the camera went over to Naomi who was the second oldest in the group she was known as a very funny girl and out going as well however unlike Layla she was kind of sarcastic and had a sort of different sense of humor from Layla however they still all found each other funny at times Naomi was also involved in a few beauty pageants when she was younger she was also a very talented dancer and singer she was known for her more laid back R&B and blousy vocals her and Nicole were probably a little less popular than the other girls however she was probably maybe just a little more popular than Nicole Naomi was also known to be the first girl that was put into the group by Weekend even though the lead vocalist is Alex anyway Naomi stood up from her chair as she sang her part and a few waiters with masks and butterfly wings came over and went to each girl the waiters were holding roses in the treys Naomi picked on up and looked at it as she sang and smiled at the camera she sang her part and danced a little she was doing really well and she was probably the least nervous of the five girls right now although there were nerves for her too when you perform on one of the biggest award shows there is there are going to be nerves however Naomi still did her part very well despite the nerves and despite this being the groups first time performing this song ever let along live the girls had also sang back up to for her doing the "Woah-oh-oh-oh's" in harmony as Naomi sang her parts of the song

After Naomi finished her part the camera then went back to Layla who was also standing up and dancing a little now as she sang the pre-chorus singing it higher and with a little more power this time than she did the last time one of the waiters came to her and she smiled and continued dancing around a little she then picked up one of the roses that was on the little treys then waving it at the audience a little as she continued singing the pre-chorus showing a little more of the power in her voice as soon as she finished the pre-chorus she threw the rose into the audience then placed her left hand on her bow and smiled out at them as she finished it up

As soon as Layla finished the second pre-chorus the camera zoomed out to all five of the girls again they were all standing up now and harmonizing once again they all sounded really really amazing together as they harmonized almost perfectly their voices went together amazingly as they sang and danced a little they stayed really close to the table although they were now standing up the waiters then came back once again and lifted their chairs from behind them holding them up almost looking as if the chairs were floating in a way the girls all looked as if they were having a lot of fun and they were they were doing what they loved and living out their dream they continued they also played the part as "Disney princesses" really well Layla conintued looking around as if she was confused moving her hand around a little as she did Nicole placed her hand on her hip looking adorable although she was the oldest she had this adorable look to her Alex looked down as she danced a little Naomi also danced but looked into the crowd and Jamie danced a little as well the girls continued harmonizing amazingly through the chorus until it was finally over

After the girls finished up the chorus the camera moved in on Jamie who decided to take the bridge of the song Jamie smiled at the camera as she sang her part of the song Jamie was the second youngest of the girls and also known as the shyest she barely spoke in interviews and didn't speak much to others that she didn't know well however despite being the shy quiet girl of the group she had this amazingly powerful voice which got compared to Beyoncé or Leona Lewis usually sometimes even Mariah Carey Jamie had an amazing range as well she could sing the lower parts of songs and higher parts like she was doing now she was singing in a very high tone and moving her hand around as she sang she was also smiling at the camera showing a surprisingly more confident side of her than we had seen before she didn't get many lyrics really as she just repeated "Baby I would have gave you everything, I would have gave you anything yeah I would have gave you anything" over and over again however she sounded really good and made the part sound amazing as she continued going she got higher and higher every time until she finally reached the last "Anything" she held that for quite some time in a rather very high tone of voice finishing up the bridge of the song

As soon as Jamie finished Layla took the next part the beat had died down a little and the other girls began hitting their write or arm signaling for the others in the crowd to start clapping and it worked as the people in the audience were now clapping their hands in a sort of rhythm as Layla sang the next part with her very unique and different voice she just continued repeating "I'm not sorry" over and over again as the people in the crowd continued to clap in that same rhythm as they were it sounded really really good Layla was really showing just how powerful her voice could be it wasn't as powerful as Jamie's or Alex's but it was still pretty good she got a little higher and higher after every "I'm not sorry" until she finally ended it with "And I'm gonna be alright"

As soon as Layla finishes her part the beat kicks back in and the girls begin to walk away from the table as they start harmonizing again but this time the harmonies begin with the "oh's" instead od the "It never really mattered" the girls walked to the edge of the stage and all split of Naomi and Layla were on the left while Alex and Jamie were on the right side and Nicole was in the middle the girls began to dance a little as they sang and interact more with the audience as wel Alex reached down and touched a few of the audience members hands Layla and Jamie had pointed at a few as they continued singing the girls then began to get closer to each other Layla was twirling around a little as they continued harmonizing they had then gotten really close to each other and began singing the last "Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, ah" as the beat died down a little they were almost singing it acapella but the beat was still going just a little as soon as they finished the song the beat ended and the girls all posed as one final drum came in the audience then started cheering extremely loud as the song ended and the girls smiled and waved at a few of the fans before they all ran to the back of the stage holding each others hands the people there in the crowd continued cheering loudly as they left and the crew came to take the table away
