"Don't be too long, you know how impatient I am."

Kourtney stood beside Jason as they waited outside the front door of her parent's home. She takes a deep breath before looking over at him. "So...are you ready to do this?"

Kourtney could tell that Jason was feeling a bit nervous and she couldn't blame him. Meeting your girlfriend's parents is a pretty big deal but she knew that he had nothing to worry about. Her parents were always nothing but kind and so she was positive that they would love him. Still, she knew that nothing she could say would help ease what he was feeling so instead she just smiled, trying to comfort him. "Great." She took her key, which she had been holding onto since they had arrived, and went to unlock the door. Opening the door and stepping inside seconds later, she called for her parents and sister. "Mom, dad, Madelyn, I'm home!"

Kourtney's little sister, Madelyn, is the first to appear. She wonders out into the hallway, wondering what all the commotion was, and stands at the top of the stairs. Seeing Kourtney, she comes running and squealing down the stairs then wraps her arms around her sister.

"Kourtney! I missed you so much," Madelyn says as she continues hugging her.

Kourtney, who is taken by surprise, hugs her sister and smiles. "I missed you too Madelyn." A few moments later, they pull apart and Kourtney takes a good look at her sister. "Wow, you look all grown up since the last time I saw you." Madelyn grins and spins around, modeling for Kourtney. "Yup and better than you," she says teasingly. Kourtney laughs. "In your dreams Maddy." They both keep looking at each other, smiling, when Kourtney shakes her head.

"I almost forgot," she says pointing to Jason. "I haven't introduced you guys yet. Madelyn, this is Jason. Jason, this is Madelyn."

Madelyn walks over to Jason and smiles with an adoring look on her face. "Hi," she says.

Madelyn continues staring at Jason, still unable to believe that this was all happening. "I love your music! Oh, will you take a picture with me? My friends will be raging with jealousy." Before giving Jason time to respond, Madelyn rushes off back up the stairs to get her camera. Kourtney starts laughing. "Told you she would love you."

"You're the only popular member. No offense to the other guys," she says smiling. "Besides I told her to not go overboard last week when I called and told her I would be coming home and bringing you along with me. So that wasn't as bad as it could have been." Kourtney grins then looks around. "Um, I'm not sure. Maybe they're in the back by the pool. Lets go see." She begins walking towards the kitchen, heading to the back door. "Thank you," she says as they continue walking. "It looks like my mom changed some things but its still just as I remember before I left."

"Maybe so but none of them have a heart great as yours. So that makes you pretty popular to me," Kourtney says smiling. "No problem but I'm not sure how long it'll last so be prepared." Kourtney begins laughing a bit. "Well for starters, there are a lot more pictures of me than I remember and the furniture looks different too." A while later, she comes to the back door and opens it before walking outside. She looks around the backyard but doesn't see her parents. She turns around to look at Jason and frowns slightly, feeling disappointed that they were no were to be found. "I wonder where they are?"

Kourtney blushes when he kisses her on the cheek. "No one," she says smiling. "Yea, you're probably right. Lets go see." Kourtney heads back inside, leaving the door open for Jason to come through, and walks back to the bottom stairs. She calls for her sister. "Madelyn, have you seen mom and dad," she yells loudly. When she doesn't get an answer, she starts to worry. "Seriously, what is going on?"

"Okay." Kourtney follows Jason up the stairs. She goes around looking in the different rooms but still doesn't find anyone. Feeling frustrated, she sighs. "Okay, I'm really starting to panic now. This is completely unbelievable. I feel like I'm in a horror movie."

Kourtney slightly smiles, trying to remain calm. "I'll try not too." She closes her eyes and takes a few deep breaths. Awhile later she opens her eyes and looks back at Jason. "We didn't look in the living room so lets look there."
