Excuse me I take classes online now, and its still hard. Imagine going to the actual college. I don't believe a word he says and that phrase I find so dumb, People lie, people lie to the point they believe their own lies, and they are the ones that are lying. Chimp believes his own lies.

Not saying I think he does, but he would gain acceptance and looking cool if he was in a band, also it would seem like he would fit in more, and also if he said he was older he would get more acceptance and fit in more with the general age here being young adults. If he said he was studying architecture it would seem he's more intelectual.

^ that and - architecture, as a career, is not that intelectual, methinks. philosphy would fit more with the definition i get of "intelectual".

back on topic, i'm in a band now called dopádromo (an album by babasónicos). we just played together three times but it's really amazing. i've been in two bands before and they both sucked a lot. but i have hopes for this one to be a little better. plus, we have now 3 or 4 songs finished and we're covering groenlandic edit (by of montreal, our version is FUCKING amazing), i don't wanna go down to the basement (ramones), head on (jesus and mary chain) and she's lost control (joy division). i play guitar and sing. we haven't recorded any demoes yet, but we'll record a rehearse one of these days.

by the way, lewis, could you recommend a myspace editor or something? ours is still ugly.

I was playing bass for my brother while he was playing guitar and our friend was playing drums. We usually played like stuff like The Bled or Deftones. Never got a singer though.

I'm quite the pop sensation. I once did a riveting performance of '4 Minutes' to absolutely no music whilst grinding the railings. Vocals only :D It was amazing, I got the coolest glares from people.

I play drums in a poprock band, which is totally not my style but it's too much fun to quit. I have to record a demo this year so maybe I can put some songs online.
I write songs, but mostly lyrics. I can't write music unless I'm in the right mood or have an idea as to how it should sound.

Sounds like some good stuff :3 I'd be interested in hearing it when you're done!

And I couldn't I'm afraid, I code all my shit from scratch. I helped Elliot with his band's myspace waaay back but it required a night of me swearing at the computer and trying to position things pixel by pixel :P

I saw Elliot's band live before it died. Elliot looked so BIG compared to the rest of them! Quite the gentle giant. xD

I was in a band with my brother and his girlfriend in 2002, called SigmaEnigma. We had such hits as "Snow Angel", "What Do You Want?", "I Know You", "Four In The Morning", "Dead To Me", "A Dog Is For Life, Not Just For Christmas", "...Baby One More Time" and "Pleased To Meet You, Where You From And What's Your Name? (My Name's Dave!)"

After Morti and Merinne split, I moved on and formed a duet called Bollards In Love with my ex in 2003. (He wasn't my ex then. He is now. Yes, the recordings were that bad.)

More recently, Morti recorded his "solo" album (ie. he can't sing, so he got people to sing for him, including me). I sung on one track, the recycled "Snow Angel", which can now be found on iTunes (search for "spot the deliberate mistakes"), and the whole album, "Spot The Deliberate Mistakes", is available for order. http://mistakes.morti.org.uk

Well... LONG STORY AHEAD!

In late 2007, I was recruted on bass guitar and vaocals in a deathcore... metalcore... hardcore... Progpunk... I don't really know what we were (we changed around genres pretty much everytime we would write songs), Called 1r0n1c t3n510n.
The Lineup went as follows:

Kyle Main - Clean/Screamed Vocals
Travis Stepp - Guitar
Thomas Angerole - Guitar
Miles Basso (me) - Bass/Growled Vocals
Carlos DeVarona - Bass
Levi LaMunuon - Drums

We sent two demos to Act One Records, but they rejected us. BOTH times. AND KEPT the tapes. After that, we kinda took a break for about three months, and then got back together to record our first album, "Who the Hell are You? Get out of my Office!" The album had 12 tracks on it, and included a Metallica cover medley of Seek and Destroy, Master of the Puppets, For Whom the Bell Tolls, One, Whiplash, and Welcome Home (Sanitarium). AND in not that perticular order. We sold it for a dollar to people around the 3 schools that we all went to, and they all seemed to either love it, or hate it. On the love meter, we got 61 out of the 80 people we sold it to. It was pretty cool, and we wanted to try again and send it to a record company again. BUT. then was the great deal about splitting up the money. We each got 13 dolars on account of the sales of the album. BUT, Levi and Thomas decided that it wasn't fair, and that they needed more of the money, because they apparently did "Most of the work," when Kyle was late during the recording sessions ALL THE TIME, and Thomas couldn't come 7 out of the 10 sessions we had. SO they stormed off, and quit. Carlos and Levi quit too, because they promised Thomas that if he quit, they would quit too. Some kind of trust thing. So, we disbanded, hoping that me, Travis, and his cousin Julian could put something together. 7 months later, We formed Absolute Zero, a metalcore band that ultimately bacame a post hardcore band that ultimately became a punk band that ultimately went on Hiatus so Trav and Julian could work on annother punk project. So, I formed a Proggy-thrash metal band with my buddies Mathew, Curtis, and Evan. However, we still havent found a name for the band. We might go with, (and help me out here if you can,)

Crusifix
Hearshot Kid Disaster
The Running Free
God (send) Conspirator
jessebadboyjustcomelookatwhatyourbrotherdidtothatgirlspreciouslittleheartofabody
Red Flag (although I keep talling Evan that it's way too close to anti-flag, but he won't listen)
House Atlantic
Curtis Walls and the Running Free
Miles Basso and the Lights in the Glass
Jesse

I think we're gonna go with Crusifix, but I want God (send) Conspirator to be our name. So this is what I've been doing, as far as music. Sorry for the Long boring story. xD

The Running Free? Coheed and Cambria referance?

IMO Crucifix is pretty cool if the whole things just for fun, but if your seriously serious about it come up with something original, because there are plenty of 'Proggy-Thrash meta' bands out there who are all equally as talented as you. You have to have something different to bring to the table. Either that, or you have to kick fucking ass.

The Running Free, along with House Atlantic.

Major tip - DON'T reference other bands. It makes people want to dismiss you instantly.
