After the break the show continue and David invited to the sofa the lovely Julia Volkova in his words.
David: The next guest is a multi-platinum Chaos Award winner rock singer who recently released her second studio album entitled “Haunted”, ladies and gentleman the lovely Julia Volkova.
Julia comes walking to join David on his famous sofa, she’s wearing a short black leather dress with a cross on her chest and her lousy wavy hair over her shoulders, David comes to meet her, they shake hands and switch kisses on chicks then he sits on his desk and so Julia in the sofa next to him.
David: OH my God you look lovely, very adorable, how are you doing?
Julia: I’m fabulous, I mean, a lot of things going on and good things by the way, I’m fine.
David: That’s insane, last time you came here you were black hair and I’m sure that you weren’t showing some parts of your body, at least the ones I can clearly see now!
Julia smiles embarrassed and so the crowd claps and whistles for her sexy look.
David: Well people had a reason to vote you the sexiest female singer of the year in last Chaos Awards, did you go to the party?
Julia: I did actually, I miss the ceremony, but I went to the after party with my band mates…
David: Oh, so you weren’t there to receive the award, what were you doing? – David interrupts Julia
Julia: I was rehearsing, I have a big concert coming up this Sunday and me and my band were working hard to make everything right for this special concert, so I had no time to go to the awards but I watched the reprise of it.
David: Did you watch Reported Failure performance? What do you think about Billie’s crazy declaration?
Julia: I think it was a good performance, I also think that Reported Failure is under a heavy pressure from their fans for a new album, but they’re not ready to really work on a new album right now, you know, being part of a band sometimes can be really hard and people need a break.
David: I’m asking you that, because Vin Peters was the main producer of you new album and by the way I loved the artwork of the cover, who did it?
Julia: The photo-shoot was done by Mario Testine and the art of the cover was done by Chaos Records designer crews, I was part of the whole process me and Mario decided how would be photos and then I join Chaos Records design crew to work in the graphics and all that promotion stuff for this album.
David: That was wonderful, very beautiful, so you have this huge concert coming up this Sunday, what will it be?
Julia: This concert is being sponsored by HBO, it will turn out into a DVD and a TV special, but I don’t know the dates yet, so it will be at the Staple Center here in New York, all tickets were distributed by radio stations throughout the country and the VIP areas were sold on the internet. I’m very excited about it.
David: and how will the show look like?
Julia: Well, it will be more of a rock and roll concert, It will be different from my last concerts, like the ones I was used to perform while I was touring last year, first because this is a very hard rock sound and so I need to improve in the visuals of the concert to make it look like a real rock event, so I’ll be singing most of this new album’s songs and a couple of old songs too.
David: Very nice, your last video kind of showed you naked and we all kind of got scary of what you tried to represent with that. – David stops so the crowd stops laughing and he could go on – We all know that your new album has this conceptual story behind it, but what do you really want to represent by being naked in a music video?
Julia: Haha, well I wanted to show sides of human personalities, so the scene where I’m naked, or half naked, it’s the vulnerability of our feelings, like we have this dark side inside of ourselves and it is very creepy sometimes, so there are also two more scenes in the video the one which represents the rebel and the innocence. I wanted to shock people indeed.
David: But it’s beautiful, it’s a very beautiful video, we loved it.
Julia: Thank you – Julia winks and smiles sarcastically.
David: Thank you so much for your time, you comeback after the break to perform for us. – The crowd screams a loud ‘AHHHH’ BEFORE Julia answer David
Julia: Thank you for having me, and see you later guys.
The show cuts to its break and finally returns with Julia already in the stage to perform.
---David: Singing her brand new hit single “Tonight I gave Up”, ladies and gentleman the lovely Julia volkova.
Lights follow the instruments of the song, the introduction violin part of the song was cut out, the song starts right in the first heavy guitar riffs of the first strophe, Julia is behind a pedestal and she’s being lighted according the song’s melodies.
She begins to sing the song’s first lines with her usual husky vocals and her half open eyes, she looks extremely sexy, high heels and short dress and long legs with fishnets completes her expressions in the performance. She tries to keep her tone up to the song key, but she loses her breath sometimes, because she shakes her head currently and even head bangs when the song is in its melodic hook.
The bridge before the choruses of the song, are slowdown and so Julia slow her movements and low her voice and the lights of the stage focus on her while the rest of the stage is shut down till the song culminates into a hard rock chorus where Julia is able to move towards the song tempo.
Her band members behind her, seem to enjoy the whole performance, they keep bouncing throughout the performance and the drummer uses his drumsticks like a juggler, most of them have long hair and in certain moments all of them head bangs.
The performance reaches the end with a vividly loud rock sound, where drums and guitars are played hardly and Julia give a 360º turn and her band goes playing insanely the sons last chords when finally they abruptly stop playing, it’s the end of the performance.
David goes join them holding the band’s new album and pleasing them for the energetic performance.
David: That was intense, very good, so the single is out everywhere so go on and support it, one more time ladies and gentleman Julia Volkova!
