Serenity laughed.
"It was an accident! I didn't mean to say it. Well, its a good thing I guess." She looked down. "Yeah, I wish I could just live like a normal person sometimes." She longer back at him. "You never know. Mr. Scott might want to sign you." She smiled.
"I'm not trying to sound cocky but yeah I kind of am a good singer. Blog all that great though." She nodded when he asked about the song. "Yee! I love it! I'm so going to have to make a shot out to you and your band on MTV tomorrow.!"

Benji smiles at her.
"Haha well alright then." When she mentions him getting signed, he shakes his head. "Man...that would be a dream, but I don't think that's what he wants. I think I'd stop breathing if they wanted me to sign. What about you? Who are you signed with?"
He nods and listens to her speak.
"I think you're being too modest. If MTV wanna talk to you you must be an awesome singer." When she talks about the song again, he smiles. "You're too sweet. Thanks though, I'm really glad you like it. Haha for real? I think a shout out on MTV would knock the bands socks off. They would be amazed." |

"Why else would he want to talk to you? He's definitely going to lay out a deal with you and the rest of 'Rosewood'," she smiled. "Me? I'm signed to Pesky. Its a subdivision of Chaos Records."
She brushed her fingers down her hair.
"You think so? I don't know. I just don't like being... I mean having too much pride.... You're welcome. Can I hear the 'mad' song now? " She smiled. "That's my way of making it up for being snobby."

Benji laughs.
"I guess I just have a negative outlook on life. I expect him to tell me that my music hurts his ears and he wants me to stop. I'm not negative really, actually. I just think I've had enough disappointment with the band to get my hopes up." He smiles. "Oh...that label run by that pop band? That's pretty good. They seem like they would be fun to work with."
He smiles at her. "I have to say, you are a lot nicer than I would imagine most pop stars are. A lot of them seem arrogant. You don't. Not at all." He smiles again. "Well this one is called Socialite. It's about anti-capitalism. That's kinda what the band name is all about too." He starts the angrier song, a lot faster and more technically skilled. |

"You shouldn't. Besides, I'm sure Scott wouldn't call you to his office just to tell you that. I'm telling you - it has to be a deal he's offering you. Maybe he wants you to tour with his band." She smiles. "Yeah, Weekend. Its not fun working with all of them."
She smiled.
"Aw that's sweet. Thanks you!" She then proceeded to listen to his band's next sonh. "I'm loving this one! Wow, is this you singing? "

Benji laughs a little. "Haha stop it, you'll make me get all my hopes up and then I'll be disappointed," he jokes. "But seriously the chance to tour with them....I think I would smile for the rest of my life." He nods slowly. "Oh really? Which ones aren't good to work with?"
He smiles again. "No worries, I'm just saying the truth." Benji nods. "Wow...I'm honestly so glad you like it. Yeah that's me singing indeed. I try my best." |

He laughs again. "Well thank you for having confidence on my behalf. I appreciate it." He nods and strokes his chin. "Yeah, I've heard some things about him in the past. Seems he has a little bit of a temper or something."
He shakes his head.
"I'm sure I don't sing better than you. There's a reason you're on MTV and I'm playing to a few hundred people in Boston," he chuckles. "Thank you though." |

"Aw, thanks... One day, millions of people around the world will praise Rosewood's music."
Her phone began to ring. She answered it and in less than a minute, she was back to speaking with her new friend Benji.
"Sorry. That was my nutritionists reminding me not to eat anything that has over 400 calories. " She laughed a bit.

Benji looks even more shocked. "He...he fought you? Jesus....that's awful." He shakes his head. "Were you alright?"
He laughs at her comment. "Haha thank you. You're too sweet Serenity. If even a thousand people liked my music I'd be happy."
Benji waits for her to finish her phone call and then smiles.
"Really? I wouldn't say you have to watch your figure at all. You look fantastic ." he blushes a little. "I mean...not that I was looking but...sorry." He laughs nervously. |

"He sure did. Yeah I was fine. I managed to throw one of my heels at his head." She laughed. "Oh, you're welcome. I seriously believe in you and your band mates. In fact, I'd love to meet them one day."
She laughed and then smiled.
"Aww thank you. Do you want me to pretend that I didn't hear that?" She laughed. "Well I have to maintain my weight somehow."

He smiles at Serenity again as he tries not to blush. She was definitely one of the most beautiful women he had ever seen but he tried not to make his thoughts obvious.
"Benji?" He asks. "Yeah its short for Benjamin. Most people use Ben when they shorten that name but I wanted to be a little different I guess." He chuckles. |
