third single has been released just in time for the u.s. tour. we decided to pay tribute to jakey comatose and all he did for us when he was around. if it wasn't for him we would've been broken up before the glasshouse album when all of us were going through some real shit. so heres a toast to where ever he is at! he showed me and the rest of this band the light with music even if he did go missing.



yeah we even did a cover of tupac's legendary track 'Dear Mama' just to experiment with a whole different sound. i think we did alright with it. you can buy the new single here. this will probally be our last single for a while. they'll be a fourth single but it's gonna wait a while. we're writing on the new album and so far it has an 'Rx' meets a more agressive quarantine type sound. even got a song written we're gonna do with the rapper who is on our tour named gh0st!. we're gonna keep the image with the gas masks going until we feel they are no longer needed. we're excited about this new era we have entered as it seems there are bigger names on the map now. it's cool to come back from being on top and starting on the bottom again. we never cared about making it big or having number one albums and singles but we are thankful for the ones that did chart high. we have sold over 35 million albums all combine, now that's something to be proud of...

7/17/12: long time & no talk. we went incognito once our last world tour was over but we are back and plan to release a new studio album 'Swansongs' in the near future. we know we promised a live album last time but after this album is out we plan to do a huge live album. also we are still thinking about a double disc remix album in the future as well. we have been spending time with loved ones, all of us are in our prime and this new album will be ambient influenced think towards like our album 'Rx' except we won't be remaking an album which is nonsense but instead having a more experimental ambient type sound that will sound amazing. the lyrics will deal with towards death and life. it will touch on so many things. it truely is going to be a masterpiece and it is what we are aiming for. we will try to release an e.p. soon.

so far we have some confirmed tracks we can announce for this album.

the album is coming a long nicely. 'Swansongs' is indeed as if this is our last music before our deaths and the sound of it is as if the world is ending and you enjoy every last minute of it. my favorite track so far is 'Coke & Ecstasy" also another one which takes me back to the casting thin shadows days called 'Explosions in the Sky'. the album will be our 7th studio album. we know what we are doing. we are still going through with the gas masks in our image as if we have indeed quarantined ourselves from the outside world(which we really have in the making of this album & the last one).


one more thing to know about this album. it has all the sounds we are known for but also focuses more on painting a picture. more on hitting harder and sounding heavy as ever before! i mean it. i'm talking about it so much i'll go on and announce the first single. it will be 'Blood Red Dress'. i'll announce the tracklisting soon.

with that being said we were gonna hold this off but i think it's best everyone knows now. our transformation we took after 'Oriental' into 'To The Surface' is because we planned two more albums after 'Oriental'. this album 'Swansongs' is being called that because this WILL be our last studio album. we've seen everything that this band has been offered, we are thankful, & at the end of the day very proud with every single album, tour, fans, & life we have gotten out of becoming successful. with that being said we WILL be going on a world tour & have a live album out soon. all of us have come to the conclusion to not continue after this album & go for new projects that have been postponed because of our duties in quarantine so with that being said this album has everything we wanted for it to be our final album and think everyone will be happy with the finished product. this album is one for the ages.

Regan: appreciate it man. still remember the tour we did with Mind shit was crazy. various members of the band will have some new shit out though afterwards but yeah this is the end for quarantine.

'Swansongs' has officially been pushed back to september 11th. expect the first single 'Blood Red Dress' out on the 4th of september. we are sorry but we are still putting finishing touches to make sure the album is amazing.

9/25/12: back at cha. new album should be out on halloween. it's finally coming and we are stoked. it's been to long. we went through a lot these last couple of years & this album is our goodbye. but it's never over until we are done promoting this album and we are gonna make sure it's the best quarantine album ever recorded. this is our swan songs. an album dedicated to the ones who stood wit us. we were gonna go a whole different route. with something like killing all these fake ass artists. i'm not calling anyone out but we were seriously gonna start killing people at a couple festivals we went to in the last year. we had world domination on our minds but we woke up in the past year and decided we've done a lot with this band and this might be the end coming soon it might not. i mean we are taking a break after the tour but you never know we could reform at any given point after this break up. we're all on good terms. we've all grown up and it's time to leave it behind for something new.

any whooo. we are putting an e.p. out before the album, expect it to drop any moment. it's called 'SwanSongs: Prelude to SwanSongs E.P.'

by the way everything we've been recorded has been produced and only produced and mixed by us. the whole band. we did all of this on our own. but the track list is:

in the meantime check out bunker18. vincent has been putting new music out back to back the past month. plenty of new music from him to listen to now. and he is now recognized as a rapper and hip hop producer. as you know he has done all of the remixes for quarantine and bunker18 started off as an alternative solo effort from vincent but went to his roots recently because he is a g straight from new york. his rapping is great and finally got to put out a whole album with him rapping and a mixtape that followed and plans for now on to stick with hip hop until he decides to switch genres. he just got done writing his new album already he told me but plans to keep it on hold until quarantine is done touring. which is cool cause all of us have separate projects we are gonna pick up on that we've been having on hold forever now. like for instance i'ma make a new solo record and might hop on board to finish the waiting rooms comeback album they've been writing forever. also ima help alex sin and we might start something crazy.

i just thought i'd let everyone in on whats going down before someone goes insane.

10/09/12: been rehearsing the new songs for our tour. trying to get ourselves prepared to go off with a bang. the release date will be given soon as we can release it. gotta make sure everything is a go and plus we are preparing ourselves for a hell of a world tour. i recently produced a new mixtape for vincents bunker18 solo act. it has him rapping and with me and some friends bringing what we can bring to the table in our singing or instruments. it should be out this friday. he isn't going on any tour until after we're done with quarantine. his next album 'I Am Superman' will be released at the end of december.

on this new album 'SwanSongs' it was influenced by some depeche mode and the cure. it isn't a tribute album of songs, these songs all have their own unique sound and we all feel this is our best work ever. it's as if you got our album 'Rx' and mixed it in to any of our other more hard rock albums like 'Oriental' or 'Glasshouse' and this comes out. we are very proud of this album and look very forward to seeing how it does and want to make sure it does better then any of our previous records so this is why it has been such a long road since we've released an album. but just know when the e.p. comes out you will get a hint of whats to come and when blood red dress is released you will know what im saying. blood red dress is our most romantic song ever haha with explicit themes throughout the song it is something we've never done before. the album works its way up as it progresses. their isn't no characters or story telling but it simply follows a flow from down and depressed to happy and being nirvana with ourselves through the regrets we had in our life. and all these tracks deal with stories we've been through in our life. these are our swan songs for the years we've had. we might record another album sometime but for now this band is done with after this release as we have more projects we want to work on and feel completely happy with how successful this band is. even if we don't get respect when its due like at some of the awards we went to when we lost to some pop commercial fucking sellouts but we just tell ourselves our money is good for us they can suck a dick.
