Instead of playing some music we decided to sit out this show. Well sort of. I'm spending all day and all evening taking Roxy all around Paris to see everything there is to possibly see. Not to mention I've wanted to see the Notre Dame Cathedral for like ever. We told Ada and Erich to keep us down for guest appearences in their setlist if they wanted. What we've been doing in the mean time has been keeping busy. Recording a tune or two for the cd that we plan to give out to the fans as a gift. All the one's who show up to our shows for the End of the Line tour will get one. We decided to surprise the everloving shit out of everybody and giving our drummer a little bit of love. Giving him some time to wet his vocal chords. You guys didn't know Clyde had this much soul in his voice. But some secrets are just that good to keep.-- JohnnyLittle Lucy
Homesick but it's alright
Little Lucy is on my mind
She's on my mind
I swear it's ten thousand degrees in the shade
Lord have mercy knows - how much I love it
Every twilight and every daybreak.
Every early dawn- Everything
Every catfish every backwater creek
every freshwater spring- She's everything I see
All I need is one more damn man
Tearing her heart out
All I need is one more phone call
Another long night another day
Another reckless night in bed
Lord I need her
Lord I need her
And she's slipping away
If I could see her now
I'd lay down and die
Cause every minute every second every hour
Every day - Lord she's slipping away
Homesick but it's alright
Little Lucy is on my mind
She's on my mind

I penned this song all by myself! I have to say I'm very proud of it because us drummers never get much love at all. It's the truth really. Which is why it was kind of agreed upon to save me for the last hoorah. Also, Roxy and Erich have me in the forthcoming band with Johnny. Though they didn't know that the meek drummer behind them could belt one as well as bang the skins like a madman. It was written for my Lucy of course. Though she and I are on the outs. She settles for men that break her heart and is pretty much made it clear that she intends on leaving me. I miss her nonetheless. This song kind of makes that point pretty clear. -- Clyde
