Also, Black Russians > White Russians Cocktails?! What kind of man are you? A man who someone went up to and said "what do you want to drink?" and who replied "whatever the fuck you are drinking", quite clearly. Fair enough, I guess. The only cocktail I'll ever drink is Halford's Motörhead cocktail (quarter Jim Bean, quarter Jack Daniel's, quarter Southern Comfort and quarter ginger ale. Oh yes). Meh. Who the fuck gives a shit? It's a drink. If you like it fucking go for it, if you don't, then clearly don't go for it. Life is pretty fucking simple like that. Yeah, I'm perfectly happy having a dram of decent single malt, and anyone who dilutes that with Coke or anything similar is pissing their money down the drain (that's what cheap crap like JD is for) but that's their business. If I spent £35 on a single malt, I'm going to enjoy that single malt, revel in it all, the small, the taste, the feeling as it flows down the throat, every little bit of it. That's my choice though, clearly I don't expect everyone to have my affinity for strong, peaty, smokey whisky, though I'm damned if I won't at least try to convince all my pals that an Islay whisky is clearly the finest alcoholic beverage around, that's because I don't want them missing out. Shit, what the fuck is wrong with occasionally trying something different? Who knows, you might even like it. Being a man is over-rated if it means being a stubborn, ignorant, and annoying prat, if you ask me. I'll settle for being me. Don't overreact dude, I was kidding. You should do whatever the hell you like, why should you listen to some random fucktard like me on the interwebs? ;) That said, I don't like sweet alcoholic drinks and therefore don't like cocktails, simple as that. I have to admit to enjoying the odd Jack and coke every now and then. I simply don't have the money to buy some expensive bottle of scotch, so i mostly stick to my good pals Jim and Jack, haha. @Gilderthingy: cider? HA! That's a little girls drink!
