Is anybody here good with computers, and able to explain to me what to do to fix mine like I'm a five year old? I'm basically technologically inept.

who are you?

Just kidding. Where the hell have you been Mr. fashionista?

Chillin', killin'...

Got busy when I moved to London a couple years back, I'm a year off finishing my degree in art theory now. I run a bar and manage a hotel branch round these parts too, so safe to say I've been kept occupied. Only popped back on here after a minor nostaglic stint when Miles followed my music project blog hahah. Hope everyone's been keeping well.

I'm not sure if its much of a difference now, but it tells me that its connected, but then none of the websites come up. I tried it on both Crome and then (god forgive me) Internet Explorer. Neither wanted to come up. The troubleshoot manager thing keeps telling me that there's something wrong with my DNS server, but I, of course, have no idea what that is. It must be something wrong with my computer, because the Internet is working just fine for my boyfriend's laptop, just not mine. :(

i would suggest restarting the computer and the router. out of curiosity,do you use comcast as your provider? i know mine would go out all the time. when i still lived with miss hess, ours used to do the dns server error all the time, and we had to call them and they did something on their end.

I already tried restarting my computer. Didn't work. :( and I'm in a hotel, so I can't really restart the router. Hehehehe. I think I'm just going to blame Florida for this and move on. ;)

I've been trying for weeks to get this girl I like to agree to a night out with me. Earlier this week she said yes. So, tonight we're supposed to be heading out together. Bad news... I ate some chicken earlier and a bit of it tasted bad and as a result I think im starting to experience early symptoms of food poisoning. Bollocks. Now, I have to decide whether I think I could make it through the night or if I should postpone.

If I remember right from my school days, man, the full effects of any poisoning can't hit you for like 24 hours min. If its been a hard thing to secure, id say try to get through it.

Aw man. I feel a little nauseous but i've been drunk like 3 pints of water and it has helped a little. Yeah, I think I might try and pull through it at the minute. Never had it before, would rather it pissed off right away.

I wrote this in the Spongebob debate, but then I realised it had nothing to do with it so here it is in case you give a shit:

Ages ago, there was a whole bit on Fox Business about the latest Muppet movie, about how they demonize the oil executive as evil, and cite it as a sustained anti-oil propaganda campaign by Hollywood. And then they list, I shit you not Cars 2, Syriana and THERE WILL BE BLOOD, as further examples of this deplorable bias.

And then, as if that's not crazy enough, brace yourself. The guy blames a Nickelodeon show about recycling called The Big Green Help, The Day After Tomorrow, and get this, CAPTAIN FUCKING PLANET, for indoctrinating the Occupy Wall Street movement from a young age. You know, it's impossible that these people are free-thinking individuals who disagree with your positions, they've just been lied to and told to hate the innocent and helpless big businesses and the oil industry by a show about recycling and a cartoon about MAGIC RINGS.

OH AND IT GETS BETTER! He then cites a line from the Matrix in which THE BAD GUY describes humans as a virus on the Earth. HOLY FUCK. That's THE OPPOSITE OF HIS FUCKING ARGUMENT.

And then they bring on Andrea Tantaros, who brings up the starving muppet they introduced on Sesame Street, lists a bunch of government programs to help kids who are hungry, and then implies that thanks to this THERE ARE NO HUNGRY CHILDREN IN AMERICA? I MEAN HOLY SHIT IS SHE FUCKING NUTS? CAN SHE HEAR HERSELF SAYING THESE THINGS? And then she mocks Barney Frank for looking like a muppet. Well it's okay Andrea Tantaros because unlike Barney Frank, you may be an extremely attractive person, but you sound and act like an insufferable fucking cunt.

And then the anchor gets to "we're teaching our kids class warfare, where are we Communist China?" GO TO FUCKING COMMUNIST CHINA YOU PRICK AND STOP ACTING LIKE YOU'RE BEING OPPRESSED BY THE PROLETARIAT.

By shifting the story to liberal bias, they're implying that big business, that big oil, is innocent, and that it's perfectly fine to exploit natural resources in a risky unsustainable manner at the cost of human lives and the environment. And that it's not okay to portray this as bad or evil.

This is fucking reality we live in now. It's been said by better people than me, but truth has a liberal bias. So the conservative pushback is to deny any truth that supports a liberal position, to ignore genuine issues if they reflect badly on the traditional model of free American enterprise.

In this video it is stated that Obama is responsible for increased usage of food stamps, it is stated that the left is trying to indoctrinate children by negatively portraying business and oil in particular, and promoting environmentalism in cartoons (THE ENVIRONMENT IS COMMUNIST!). It is stated that pursuit of wealth is noble and good, and that there is nothing wrong with the business practices of these corporations.

It's so naked. They cry "this is propaganda" and their counter is more fucking propaganda, reinforcing their audiences perception of victimisation and marginalisation, and promoting a world where we can't discuss problems and find common solutions, we must instead stick rigidly to our dogged ideology and never waver because THAT'S FREEDOM FOLKS.

It makes me sick to my fucking brain.

I'm kinda in love...I have been interested in this guy I met at a party in March and I have classes with him every monday, although the only time I had the guts to talk to him was 2 days ago.
He's sooooo hot, even his voice is enough to, as me and my friend say, make me lose my underwear hahahha
He's also a really nice guy, a potsmoker like me, I soooo need him in my life.

Blistering barnacles. My cousin just gave me two tickets to Radio 1's Big Weekend for the Saturday date. This means I will be seeing the following live in two weeks time;

Biffy Clyro
Foals
Two Door Cinema Club
The Vaccines
The 1975
Bring Me The Horizon
Ellie Goulding
Kendrick Lamar
Alt-J
Frightened Rabbit
+ more

Fair to say I am in awe right now.

I never thought it'd be this hard to initiate contact with a guy before. And not because I'm nervous or anything, I just don't see the guy anywhere! I only have classes with him on Monday and he missed it yesterday. My friend always calls me saying she saw him, but by the time I get to college he's already gone. I added him on facebook but he's never online or posts anything...I feel like a frustrated hunter.
