Ada shoots awake in bed the moment she hears a baby's cry, and immediately thinks that she must have missed a very important nine months of her life. Then she remembers Cassie's children. "Ach, meine Gott..." She says to herself as she gets up and makes her way into the kitchen for some coffee. On her way, she passes through the living room, and sees Cassie and Gia. "Oh, how darling..." She whispers as she slowly walks over, absolutely beaming at them.

Cassie sits for a little while until Gia quietens down and breathes softly, not sleeping but just cuddling in. Cassie smiles and enjoys the peace and quiet for a few minutes. After a while she looks up when she sees Ada come across towards her and Gia.

"Sorry, did she wake you?" Cassie asks quietly. "She was just restless, I'm sorry."

Hearing two people talk, Gia lifts her head and looks towards Ada with her big blue eyes, before she gives Ada a big beaming smile.

"Nein, lieblings... You are fine..." Ada says back as she sits next to Cassie on the floor and looks on at Gia. "She is so precious..." She whispers, giggling a little.

Cassie smiles a little and brushes Gia's hair softly with her fingers. She smiles at Ada and nods.

"She's precious now. When the two of them are together though they're little terrors." She chuckles and tickles Gia's belly. "Aren't you mommy's little terror?" Gia laughs at her and wriggles around .

Ada giggles along with Gia and sighs. "I wish Erich and I could have children," she says suddenly, and then immediately regrets it. She hops up off of the floor and quickly tries to change the subject. "I am about to make some tea. Do you want any?"

Cassie looks down at her and feels sorry for her immediately after Ada finishes.

"You....you guys can't have kids?"

She scolds herself immediately.

"I'm sorry, I'm being rude, sorry. I shouldn't ask."

Ada bites the inside of her cheek lightly and forces a smile. "It is really no big deal... Erich cannot have children. I knew when we first started dating. It is fine. Plus, could you imagine Erich and I with kids? I cannot even keep him sane enough to stay with me all through a tour." She says very quickly before shaking her head. "No matter. Tea?"

Cassie can tell that Ada is somehow bothered by the whole situation and she sighs.

"Its OK...you don't have to pretend around me. I appreciate how hard that must be."

She sighs a little.

"Would you like to hold Gia for a while?"

Cassie nods and smiles when she sees Ada perk up a little.

"Of course. She already smiled at you. That shows she likes you."

She stands up and gives Ada room to sit so she can hold Gia.

Cassie smiles at Ada as she sits down.

"Don't look so nervous," she jokes. "It's ok."

She smiles and then gently puts Gia into Ada's arms. Gia immediately nestles her head against her upper arm and looks up at her.

"They're almost 6 months old now, she and Cole."

Being told not to look so nervous makes Ada immediately more nervous, but she tries to conceal it as she takes Gia. "She is just... Absolutely precious..." She says quietly, looking down at her and smiling, feeling almost like a new mother.

Gia looks up at Ada. It was a face she was used to seeing by now, but not as close up as this. She makes a little cooing noise and then claps her hands together.

Cassie giggles.

"I think she likes you. She normally cries if someone holds her. Not today though. I'll be right back."

She walks into the kitchen, leaving the baby in Ada's arms.

Ada sits in the living room alone with Gia in her arms. She immediately gets very nervous that she's been left alone with this baby, and starts stiffening up again. "Umm... Hallo, Gia..." She says quietly. "I am Ada... But you know that. Or do you? Do you understand names? Probably not. Everything I am saying to you is just going straight over your head. How innocently fantastical..." She sighs, and starts to calm down a little bit.

Cassie is stood in the kitchen when she hears Ada talk to Gia. She smiles softly to herself. It made her feel happy that Ada was getting the chance to spend some time with a baby since she couldn't have her own.

Back in the living room, Gia looks up at Ada and seems amazed. She has never heard such a different accent before and it seems to amuse her. He smiles and grabs on gently to Adas finger as she keeps staring at her.

After five minutes, Cassie walks in carrying a baby bottle of milk. She sits opposite them both and smiles as Ada talks to Gia.

Ada smiles back at Gia for a while until Cassie comes back. "Would you like her back to feed her...?" She asks with a small smile. She enjoyed holding Gia, but could feel that she would get overly attached to her if she were left holding Gia for much longer.
